How easy is it to get a hold of customer service at Currys Ltd?

They have an automatic sorting process in place that takes several minutes to get through, you then get put on hold. Sometimes kicking you out before call is answered and you have to go through selection again. No direct numbers advertised to get you straight to right department, but they do exist. Ask for them once through to an adviser. It will save you lots of time when you need to chase them again. Music on 'hold' is distorted to annoy and frustrate you - close to mental torture! Advisors are following 'scripts' and are not 'able'/allowed to think for themselves. Be prepared to be put on hold and then kicked off the line. They told me they would order a replacement item 3x it never came. So were blatantly lying to me/stalling meanwhile processing refund. Once refunded they are 'unable' to help you with anything. Or is it unwilling? The whole process seems to be set up to deter you from continuing with your complaint. An issue that should have taken max 10 minutes to sort took 5-6hrs and it was sorted to their satisfaction not mine.

1. Customer service phone number is full of automated options and is so confusing I ended up giving up.

2. Currys live web chat India will give you fake reference numbers, false information, lies, and won't send you any transcripts. Take screenshots for evidence in live chat if you can.

3. Currys email bounces back and referrers you to live web chat

I ended up going to PayPal to open a case and submit evidence and they got me my refund, eventually.

If you paid using your credit card or bank just call them and report fraud, don't waste your time with Currys customer services.

RIDICULOUSLY DIFFICULT! They SHOULD have contacted me but didn't... I tried on numerous occasions & finally succeeded... wish I hadn't bothered as they told me the item I had paid for was out of stock & I would have to re-order - some FOUR WEEKS later.

Terrible. They don't answer on Social Media, the email has been disabled and you can't get through on the phone until you've waited 40/50 minutes at least

Long hold times
Spoke to 4 different advisers over a week and the last one told us the previous 3 advisers hadn't done what they told us.
