No, there are no success stories. Artists (or vendors as they call us *angry face*) pay GigSalad money to put their profile higher up on the list, then customers pay GigSalad to book those artists who have paid to have their listing put higher, then Gigsald takes MORE money from those artists who have already paid to be at the top of the list. Success? Yeah, for greedy GigSalad.

GigSalad leads were far better than the better known competition and many more of them turned into great gigs.

That is the very definition of success. Well worth the subscription.

I use 3 other similar sites, some costing much more. I still get 75% of my bookings from leads from Gig Salad.

First-year of business as Santa, only a few people signed me up without any previous reviews. Second-year of business, I have scheduled 4x the business after a few reviews, may have to slow my 1st job down to allow even more room for the growth again.

I only got booked once in a month, I very hardly call that a success... it wasn't worth the $33.17 I paid for that month, and only get 1 booking. I charged was $200 they took 16.6%! I can't live off of just $166.83 a month.

Yes. The only problems I ever had were when performers used to have to collect the balance of payment from the bookers. Didn't always work smoothly.

Since the system was changed to put all of the payments through GigSalad, there has been no problem. We don't get many bookings via this company -- our schedule is already pretty full. But the times it has worked out that we happen to be perfect for someone who is looking for something very specific and hard to find (one very touching funeral and one incredibly fun wedding spring immediately to mind), it has been wonderful to have the financial side securely covered, leaving us only the performance -- staging arrangements and music -- to focus on.Image

Yes, 1000 plus email requests for two years is a success story for me.
