Decline the charges with your credit company since you did not receive the services paid. AS SIMPLE AS THAT. THIS IS A VERY CROOKED CHINA BASED COMPANY. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS!

Do not book with them. If anything happens and you need to modify your booking they will not help you. They have canceled people's bookings at the last minute as well. This company is all about the money. Once they have your payment they are done with you. DO NOT book travel arrangements with them. Read the reviews and I'm speaking from experience. The price is good but if anything happens they will take your money and will not help you.

They take your money and when u bring it to their attention they rather charge u a fee than to fix your reservation.

I made a flight booking on the 15th of…

I made a flight booking on the 15th of May 2022, a flight from Lagos to Melbourne with booking number 17949656655. I got to the airport 4 hours earlier. I was told by the airline that I can not use the ticket because it was with two(2) different PNR which according to them is not allowed. I immediately contacted Trip.com to explain my situation to them and I was promised they will take care of the situation. I was at the airport throughout the day and the flight left without them being able to do anything. I was forced to book a hotel and spent extra three(3)days with a fresh flight booking this time from Abuja. I took a local flight to Abuja which cost me #60,000(Sixty thousand naira), this time with a Turkish airline. I left the country, and on my trip.com app, it was showing my flight was partially canceled. After some days upon demanding a refund from Trip.com. They denied being responsible for my ticket and were asking me to go to the airline and collect my money while the airline already told me that since I did not book the flight directly with them, they can not do anything and referred me back to the agency which is Trip.com. Until today being the 14th of June, Trip.com refused to refund me my money. Their claim was that the airline could not refund them but how that is my business is unknown. Trip.com is a scam, Fraud, and irresponsible Ticketing agency running online and denying customers their rights especially when there is an issue with your bookings. I am demanding and asking this fraud company to immediately refund me my money via the Westpac credit account I used to make the booking as the account is accumulating interest. In the beginning, they convinced me they will issue me my full refund, Later on, they told me they will give it to me in voucher form but lastly they ended up telling me they can not give me anything because the airline refused to take responsibility of their mistake. Trip. Com or Ctrip is an irresponsible online Ticketing agent and people should understand that no matter how good they sound or may look, not when you need their help. They are a big Scam!

I booked a flight from Lagos to Melbourne Australia. They issued a ticket from Lagos to Melbourne with a separate PNR which the airline rejected. My responsibilty as a customer who is not working directly with the airline is to fill in my details, date and destinations and not to issue a booking or reference number and there is no way you can get this PNR while searching for the tickets, you only get the PNR after you must have done the booking and most time paid for the ticket. I am therefore asking the authority in charge of fraud to investigate my claim and get my money back from Trip.com.

Thank you.

I purchased an airplane ticket from Guangzhou to Turin in Italy to be scheduled to depart two days ago for a business trip. In the midst of a mounting public health crisis, I decided to cancel my flight out out of safety and health concerns. From trip.com they told me that the ticket is non refundable (as most of their tickets) and for a total payment of more than 11,000 Yuan I only got a ridiculous reimbursement of 643 yuan for taxes (the actual tax amount I paid is much higher). After several phone calls and emails to trip.com, AirFrance, Southern China Airlines, all I am told is that my ticket is still non-refundable and they can do nothing for me. Now I learn that all airplane routes to and from China in Italy are scheduled to be cancelled. Being this the state of art, HOW DOES IT MAKE SENSE it is ME having to pay for an airplane ticket I canceled in the middle of a global pandemic, and HOW IS IT POSSIBLE for trip.com to be so unresponsive to this case?

NEVER AGAIN!

We booked 3 rooms (one at a time for different people but on our credit card).

It looked like we were successful at the time until days later when we all checked our emails and the other 2 people were sent emails saying the hotel was fully booked and they didn't get rooms. The hotel was NOT fully booked. We got rooms on other sites.

We're still waiting for one of the rooms to be taken off our credit card.

NOT WORTH THE RISK AND STRESS...

Definitely a scam. They changed my booking and then wouldn't let me change it back.

Scam, But In The Most Stupid Way
Today I am going to share the most interesting story of my life and the valuable lesson Trip.com taught me.
Through Trip.com I booked a return flight from Lahore to Sydney via Bangkok for departure on 16 May 2019 and return 4 September 2019

Here is the time-line

Flight Payment done 18 Feb 2019 (Order no. 8696409542)
Tickets issued 24 Feb 2019
Air space closure due to the tensions between India and Pakistan
26 Feb 2019
From Pakistan, all eastbound flights over India cancelled from the above mentioned date and the airspace remains CLOSED even till today.

Received the following email from Trip.com on 16 May 2019

"Dear Customer,
We regret to inform you that the airline has canceled your flight (Flight PK890 from Lahore to Bangkok). The details are as follows:

Lahore - Bangkok | Pakistan International Airlines · PK890 | Economy class
16 May 2019 05:00
Allama Iqbal International Airport M
16 May 2019 11:25
Suvarnabhumi International Airport Suvarnabhumi International Airport"

Trip.com offered me to apply for a full refund and that it will take 10 working days which I agreed.

4 weeks passed... nothing happened... No refund.

I contacted them dozens of times through calls and emails and got different answers every time. Can't understand what's happening.

Trip.com wrote to me 15 June 2019
"Dear..., I see you have received some disappointing news about your refund. I see the airline has rejected it on the basis it was not confirmed until after departure. It seems that this is the case as the refund application was made at 4.58 local time, the flight itself was at 4.25, on this basis the airline have refused to refund it."

INTERESTING?

NOW... Even the airspace remains closed and not a single flight on this route since February till the time of writing this review... Trip.com was still able to fly the plane... may be a paper plane... or may be in their DREAMS... and due to their dream I would loose my money... I am convinced that Trip.com has taught me the valuable lesson that refund is not in the dictionary of some companies and Trip.com is one of them. To put customers' money into their own pockets, they can go to any extent even if the tactics they use seem the most stupid ever.

Has anyone ever heard any scam like this?
