The people we dealt with there were mostly British but some Americans or Canadians; not Mexican. The common thread in all of them is that they are liars and thieves.

You do not save any money. You give it away. These worthless individuals in Playa Del Carmen lie to your face and then you find out that they took your credit card and charged it for 4 grand. You got nothing other than a headache from talking to you credit card company telling them you got taken.
