I use it for over 10 years, since 2009. Back then they were called Avangate. The service is great, I highly recommend 2Checkout.
I have been using 2Checkout for just over 5 years. My experience up to the beginning of November of this year was okay, I would give them either 3 or maybe 4 stars. Then on November 2 our regular payout bank transfer never arrived at our bank. We have asked for proof and the SWIFT document for the transfer. Neither have been provided. We have asked for the sending bank contact information, they refuse to provide it. We ask our receiving bank to see what they could do and they ask for the SWIFT document so they could trace. Now I choose to give them 1 star because zero is not an option. We are a small business and a missing payment of several customer invoice and purchase payments have not arrived after 48 days and no information that is needed is being provided. So that is my experience!

Sometimes the payout gets delayed even though the payment was done within the reporting period, often there have been cases when they said that they would pay me on a date, but then pushed it back by a week. Nothing too extreme but frustrating nonetheless.

Avoid this service at all costs. They will charge you renewal fees long after you cancel your subscriptions. I have been trying for weeks to get a refund for a product that I canceled renewals about 1 year ago. They do not respond to emails and they have no customer service help. I had to contact my credit card to ask that the transaction be tracked as a fraud charge.

Their risk team will put your account on restricted mode on Estimated pay day and your hard earned money will be under 2Checkout's -> Avangate's -> Verifone's possession for weeks if not months. Stay away from them. You might not realize how tricky their business policy is while doing payment processing with them for smaller transactions. But when it will be a substantial amount, you will see their real face. Recommendation: Stay ******* miles away from them.
We had heard great things about 2Checkout, but when we tried to sign up, we found nothing but issues.
The biggest issues were the fact that your support departments are slow to respond and uncooperative.
In the end, we were told by 2Checkout that they would not be willing to offer services to a company like ours, since our services were research, podcasts and videocasting.
We'll never consider 2Checkout again and are making sure to tell everyone that we know to avoid your service because after wasting 3 weeks of our time, we were denied an account.

Customer Support is unresponsive, Python APIs are outdated.
The support team does not respond in a timely manner. In addition, it only uses automated responses and does not attend to problems in a personalized way. They decided not to approve my business, even if uploaded every single document they asked for. They didn't gave me a detailed answer to address the issue, they just cancel my account and sent me autogenerated email. So I waste development time and money.
If you are developing on Python be prepared to downgrade the version of your software since the API is old and outdated.

Update, in a pretty prompt response to this review, they apologized and offered a refund. Based on that customer service and the quality of the product I purchased I've updated from 1 star to 3. If the refund process and cancelling auto renewal was more clear and easy, an even better rating would be given.
I bought a product through them from Easus. They subscribed me to a monthly subscription and only provided pretty complex instructions on how to cancel after they charged me a renewal. I would avoid this company at all costs. I immediately sent a refund request and it was denied.

Thew allow certain venders to cheat consumers. They try to have knowledge of products, however not enough to make a decision on if the product is any good or not. Never again.

Horrible support, took them 1 month to review my application. They blocked my account with the excuse I'm selling something that is not in their acceptance, we are selling small business management software in the cloud by the way :) in Africa. They send us link to 2Checkout Prohibited Product List/Acceptable Use Policy, witch has kinda terrorists product list for dark web. Anyway support sucks, if you are not US company with a lot of lawyers or some top company, just give it up and look for something else. Since the acquisition by Verifone, we are experiencing a lack of support regarding supplier documents required by our customers for the procurement process. There is a mess on the 2checkout side after the acquisition, the official company name has been changed to "Verifone Payments BV dba 2Checkout" so it changes a lot of things from a legal/financial perspective. We are waiting since January 2022 for updated documents and we have not received them yet. We cannot process a lot of orders due to this issue, but nobody from 2Checkout responds to our gentle email reminders.

I requested for a refund and based on the e-mail, after 5 business days of no response from their client whom I purchased the product from, they will start the refund process. I waited 5 business days and called them to get an update. They claimed that 5 business days have not occurred yet. They couldn't tell me when the 5th business would occur. Asked for a supervisor and the male rep rudely said it was just him. Their practices are shady and they should be banned as the institution that process payments for a company.
