The outrageously priced and seemingly unavailable one time licenses made me leery of the new subscription service. And my hunch was correct. Caught needing to convert a document and edit it for a class, I activated the "free trial". Forgot to cancel within 14 days, I see a monthly charge on my card, and found out they will charge you 50% of the remaining balance for year when I go to cancel "early". $89 dollars in my case. What a rip-off!

I purchased a license for the CS6 suite in 2016, I contacted Adobe (by phone and email) to verify that the license purchased is genuine, I provided them with the serial number and they assured me that my license is genuine. I've had it registered on my adobe account since 2016.
In November 2023 the application I was working on froze and I received a message saying that my serial number had been revoked and inviting me to subscribe to their service.
I contacted Adobe support with the proof of purchase and the copy of the email Adobe had sent me in 2016 assuring me of the authenticity of the purchased license. With all this proof they kept telling me that it was normal for my license to be revoked, I had exchanges with a dozen Adobe support employees to understand why my license is blocked and each one gave me a completely different reason...
Which makes me think they're thieves, all they care about is getting people to subscribe to their products, or at least they stole the money I saved up for months to be able to use their products legally.
In the end, in my personal experience, the only difference between Adobe and the vendors who sell illegal licenses of Photoshop and co is that Adobe is much more expensive. As for the rest, consumers have no guarantee that Adobe won't make their software installation unusable.

I used photo shop one time 2 years ago and got charged 20 dollars a month til now. Then got a 14 day free trial of acrobat which then went on for 2 months before i caught on and they charged 21 dollars a month and i had to pay 100 dollars to cancel it. Thats over 700 dollars that they took out of my bank for a one time use and a 14 day free trial. Adobe are thieves!

I am dissatisfied with Adobe's customer service. Despite multiple attempts to resolve an issue with excessive charges for unneeded licenses, I have received no resolution or refund. I have spoken with several representatives with heavy foreign accents that I cannot understand, and they have failed to follow up on their promises to address the issue. As a long-time user of Adobe Acrobat, I am disappointed in the decline of the company's customer service. My next step will be to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Paid for all Adobe products bundle on a monthly basis and decided to click the checkbox to try Adobe stock for free. They do NOT let you cancel Adobe Stock and charge you $30 a month for a whole year after that, or else charge an outrageous early cancellation fee of $150+, recently dropped to $90 due to recent billings. I just spoke with their outsourced customer service and they told me there is nothing they can do. I'm already paying a lot for their services and I'm definitely terminating after my term ends. Buyers beware.

Tip for consumers:
They will rip you off, so be sure to read all terms and conditions. NOTHING is truly free from them.

If you remove users from your service Adobe just keeps on billing you and cleaning your clock. You have to remove the licenses in the last 30 days of the plan year or they stick it to you. If you call them 10 minutes after they take your money, TOUGH. They will not refund and they do not care. I would not recommend these crooks to my worst enemy. Mark your calendars and tell these bastards goodbye.

You're cancelation policies are criminal. Your practices are criminal. You cannot require a payment to cancel or remove a card from your service. I have not used your $#*! in months yet you want me to pay for a cancelation? You're out your minds. I will NEVER use adobe products again for any reason. You're worst than a gym membership.

I signed up for the monthly plan rather than the yearly plan. After three months, I wanted to cancel the plan but was informed that I would be charged immediately for the remainder of the year for early cancellation. So, now I am stuck with this program that I neither want nor need. I didn't realize they are so hard up that they have to gouge consumers.

I owned Acrobat Pro11. I bought a new computer and was moving Acrobat 11 over to it and when I put my product registration in, I re eived a message saying the number was no longer valid (something to that effect). So I contacted Adobe via their chat support and was basically told too bad about the software I LEGALLY OWNED and spent money on, it was no longer valid and that was that EXCEPT I could have a free 30 days on their new platform. I told him no, I won't be using Adobe any longer.

Adobe isn't honoring purchases of the past. You either move to their new system or just forget using what you bought. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

A $109 cancellation fee? I'm already paying $20 a month for something I rarely use but still screwed when it turns out to be not useful and I no longer need the service. Welcome back to the `1950's era of pissing on clients and customer service. Next time we'll just get a free or nearly free PDF editing program as Adobe shoots its toes off one by one...

I just signed up for the trial of Adobe Illustrator. Every time I logged into my trial account the system was showing me I have this many days to purchase the full subscription. But then they automatically turned my plan into a full subscription and when I asked them why they did that, the representative said we had your credit card information already. When I tried to cancel the plan they asked me to pay a $104 cancelation fee. They will rip off their customers.

I haven't been able to use Adobe XD for 2 weeks. The program doesn't open documents, and I urgently need it for a presentation.

I have been trying to contact their support, and it's an absolute nightmare...

You get on the chat > The agent says he will direct you to another team > Leaves the chat > Nothing happens...

And it's like this every single time! There is no way to create a support ticket or just send an email!

Adobe gets more and more complicated and takes longer to work due to inferior format requirements.
Absolutely can't stand Adobe anymore it is a customer unfriendly file to work with unfortunately. Simple editing requires watching a new video, it's absolutely ridiculous. I only use Adobe when required because its " OVER ENGINEERED "
I believe the people at Adobe think their customers have all day to watch their continuous changing of simple tasks. Wow, using for over 20 years and gets worse and worse every ugdate.

I logged on to my account to make a simple cancellation. The chat agent I was speaking to - Aruna was extremely rude and did not want to help me cancel my subscription. She kept on giving me 'offers' that were still almost as expensive and the first couple times I politely said that I just wanted to cancel. After that I'm getting annoyed but I still stayed on the line, hoping she would get the message and maybe help me out.

After about 25 mins on the chat, I gave up.

I would not recommend anyone use this business if you foresee that you may need to chat with their customer service agents in the future. To them, 'helping' is just giving you random other things that you don't need and not helping with the actual problem.

Let's start with the fact that I signed up for a free trial and still got charged within the hour. They took the money out in just a few minutes, but I couldn't use the product for almost a whole day. Not to mention they offered 60% off for students and I didn't receive that either. I hoped I could at least use the product when it was done, but nope. Every time I try to edit a PDF it spends 5 minutes downloading fonts and then tells me that there's an error and I cant edit. I have had a lot of trouble with adobe in the past, but I figured I would give them a second chance. They will not get any more chances from me, and I am going to make sure people know not to waste their time or money with this sorry excuse for a company anymore.

I will never use Adobe again, I prefer to use GIMP for the rest of my life.

I subscribed to a plan apparently (I don't remember it, I only saw that my credit card has been getting charged every month with 25 EUR).

But when I tried to unsubscribe, they charged a fee of 75 EUR just for unsubscribing!

Avoid at all cost, thieves and cheats!

I started the trial offer and then canceled before the trial end date and have continued to bill me and are now charging a cancellation fee of 89.95.

Be real careful with their trial offer.

Ps i have not used the extended version since first starting the trial.

Get billed twice in a month on the same credit card, only have one device, one account and one email address but they can't figure out the second payment. They ask me to check with family and friends I may have shared my credit card with, ridiculous.

I signed up for a free trial and was charged $100 cancellation fee even though I cancelled it prior to the trail day ending. And customer support was no help. I officially hate this company and will be looking for other products that offer the same solutions. I feel betrayed. No where did it say $100 fee to cancel, otherwise I would of reconsidered signing-up.

Nothing but blank screens. I open photoshop I get a blank grey screen. I open creative cloud I get a blank white screen. There is no customer support anywhere other than stupid bots with unhelpful answers. Then they charge me money to quit my annual subscription, even thought I've been subscribed for over 24 months. Absolute joke of a broken company.

"Free Trial" cost me $135 when I cancelled before it ended. I took Adobe's free trial for Adobe Premiere Pro, then when I went to cancel before the trail ended was offered 60 days free credit. I took the credit and went to cancel before said credit ran out because I cannot afford the $29 per month, only to discover that for cancelling I would be charged $135! I am disgusted that Adobe considers catfishing part of its business strategy and will not be supporting the company again.
