Aldi

Previously I found this store closed it's bathroom to their customers before the store closed with no option to use them. Today I find the bathrooms cannot be used unless a key is collected from an associate.
I will no longer be patronizing this branch of Aldi that does not offer self check out and restricts usage of the bathrooms. Had my fill of needing a pass or key to use a restroom when in Jr high school

I'm done with our neighborhood Aldi. The cashier tonight was horrible (that's a first by the way) but I've always struggled with produce quality, is already bad or will be soon. Bought a frozen pizza tonight, bad bad quality.

On 17 January I prepared a packet of Brown Balsalmic Rice I purchased two days earlier (Jan 15) at Aldi. The packet read "use by 7/17/25. Unlike most times I emptied the packet in a bowl before heating. When I did so I found a big hunk of the rice was molded in green mold. Of course I did not use the rice. But had I heated the rice in the pouch I might have never discovered the problem. Aldi needs to do a recall on all Simply Natiure Brown Basalmic Rice for health reasons.

I wrote to the store about the use of Styrofoam to package some of their frozen products, asking for response, as an indication that they might consider alternatives in the future. I never heard back from them. You can draw your own conclusions about how much the company cares for our collective future.

Don't shop here if you are a straight white person. If they refuse to hire people like us then why should be spend our hard earned money there.

There was only two lines open; both were full but we go to the line where the people has the least items because the other line had two families that their cart was overfill. The cashier looks and is and says you will need to go to the other line. My husband said that's why we came to your line because we did not want to wait behind the families with carts full. We leave our cart in his line and leave

I will never buy anything at Aldi.

I gave Aldi's a 2 star rating would have given them a better rating but since putting in self scanners long lines only one register with an actual person checking customers out and if someone has problems with self check out the person who is checking you out has to leave and help the self check out! Come on Aldi's you use to take pride on how fast your check out lines were! Not anymore!

I tried to reach out to you, but you can't even answer the damned phone. This is so sad and pathetic!

I used to like their Roth Moser chocolates until I read they contain a huge amount of cadmium - see this from Reddit -

Is like water before it was like real milk was good, now the quality is so bad my coffee is dark the taste isn't of oat milk

Don't buy their products that are non food such as cookware, small appliances, electric toothbrushes etc. It's basically junk! For example I bought a porcelain iron pot. I've literally used it five times the porcelain is chipping all over it. $20 bucks gone to waste. If you don't keep your receipts you can't prove you bought it. But still you get what you pay for!

So as always. Soon as I go in Aldi I always get a Box (Not A Lot Of Food) so I go to check out the Man THROW ALL MY FOOD OUT THE BOX. I was really piss off. Not one Cashier Ever did that They swipe it and put it back in the box nice like I had it. But some NEW GUY throw my food in it's really sad to have some one work there like that. I will never shop there again along as he's there. Need better people. This was today 3/8/2024 at 1:20

We have been buying our milk from Aldi for 3months now and not one of the gallon jugs has lived up to it's "best before date". The last one was dated 20-21-23 and it had already started to sour by 20-14-23,7 days early. The only good thing I can say is it turns into fairly nice yogurt.

One star is all this aldi deserve. I was in the store here in Stockbridge ga and I accidentally dropped a bottle of hot sauce. I went to one of the customers service people and he was on the phone and before I got a chance to say anything he calls someone else to help me. It took Tanisha about 15 minutes just to get a mop and I was willing to clean up my mess but she had an attitude and said "I'll do it" then walk away and makes a comment about "Something must be wrong with him". It was disrespectful and unprofessional, I was trying to be responsible and did not deserve this treatment.

Aldi runs a weekly ad this week (11/8) with Prime Rib $7.99 a pound. Tenderloin roasts for $10.99 a pound but at 5:00 pm the second day of the sale they are sold out. You cannot call the store because they claim to reduce costs they reduce staff. The Victoria Tx store has 2 young boys running the entire supermarket with one on checkout. I am sick and tired of ALDIs fake sales to lure you in the store so they are dead to me from now on.

I showed up for an interview only to find they hire young black people only
They do what they call group the interview to filter through the rejection the people they don't want

I have massive retail experience which includes stocking relabeling, as a shift manager in retail I think I can handle the shipment or two the day

And let everyone know if they do not select you for that location other locations will be in touch with you, that is incorrect

Most Dallas locations with Aldi just send out more emails stating that there are more employment positions

Honestly Aldi is a another large Walmart or large Target type of retail you can buy by bulk or just a few small things

The location I interviewed was the far east side of Dallas
There are only two Latin American interviews for which showed up for an employment position mostly black interviewees then you can bet one of the African-American black were hired for the position
They did say there was only one position available

I was at Aldi on Friday Oct 27th 23.that's where I Shop since the store open in north Miami Beach.the cashiers are so rude especially the one who said she is the manager. Y'all pick the wrong one to put in charge she doesn't have class don't know how to talk to people always upset she doesn't belong there at all. She doesn't even love her self.the Haitian one who just had a baby. Please replaced her sent her to different location. She accusing me of stealing and I have my receipt with me.the register machine ran out of paper so my receipt didn't print.so I call the cashier to let them know she told the other cashier she don't believe I paid for the stuff.I'm not a thief I work making decent money I don't have a right to steal from anyone.I'm gonna let my lawyer looking enter it if I don't get a good respond from you guys.I will take it to court.

I went to Aldi's today. It being a Wednesday, I thought I'd have a good chance of finding most things I wanted. NOT! No peaches, as usual. They were low on lots of things. Worst of all, NO eggs! What the hell?! Did someone forget to order them? First time ever that they were out. And, the prices have gone up a lot. I'm going to shop elsewhere. Sorry. If you don't try harder, Aldi's, you're going to lose customers.

They need to get one row of small carts due to the fact that a lot of elderly people shop there. Their new carts are ridiculous so large they barely fit in the door and you can barely get around them in the cashiers aisles. I hate shopping there for that reason. I will bring in one. Bag in, when it is full I am done.Please get some carts like Wegmans has it would make shopping a lot more pleasant aside from that I love ALDIs.

The store I went to said they didn't carry the Black Angus brand so I asked them which store does. The manager told me to call their main office. I called the main office and was told that none of their stores had it and they didn't know when they would get it. It's not like they ran out because today is 10/18/2023 which is the first day of the sale. This is false advertising by Aldi, plain and simple.

The problem with Aldi's is not the pricing. It's the selection and the fact that products you become accustomed to will suddenly vanish Without explanation. There are some products that I really enjoy there. Such as oatmeal coffee, coffee, chocolate, and ice cream, as well as bread and lunch meat.
