Throughout the process of publishing my memoir, "I've Waited So Long," I have had 100% devotion to every question I raised. Trevor James, my project manager, was diligent, attentive and helpful with every issue I had. Writing a memoir is deeply personal, and I felt that Trevor handled every concern with sensitivity. He never turned away or put me off. He was always there. I can't say enough about the positive experience I had with Trevor and the team. Thank you again.
$1000 I paid for a scam. No distribution package, they lied. And the way they tell you to publish (yourself on FREE to publish sites Amazon KDP and IngramSpark) basically guarantees your book WON'T SELL. Always asking for more money. They are thieves.

They did a parable job! Jack up my book with their resizing and then one of their employees texted my cell trying to get me to spend another 200-400 on a one time print fee. It was a scam! I asked for my money back and they are tell me no. Horrible!
When I signed up for Prohub in April of 2022, the company appeared to do its formatting without any standard publishing app, which led to numerous errors. After many months of back-and-forth emails and about six requests for a refund, I finally received a full refund. Since then, they may have purchased a standard publishing app for their books. I would suggest that anyone interested in using Prohub contact them to find out specifically what formatting app they plan to use.
**To make a long story short: Amazon Pro Hub took a very long time to deliver no value.
**The details: I wanted this to be a positive experience, because I'm very busy and my son was so excited to publish his book. However, I wish I had worked with another company to achieve our goal.
Amazon pro hub responded to my inquiry about publishing my son's book. We agreed on a $350 contract which comprised 11 tasks to be delivered within one month.
I saw the amazon name tied to this company and some decent reviews. I paid in full at the time of the contract. Amazon Pro hub consultants took 8 grueling months to deliver only 5 of the 11 tasks in our contract. In the end my son's book was never assembled or published. During the experience Amazon Pro hub changed project managers twice. When the book process continued to drag on into month 6, I asked to be reunited with the original PM (hoping that would ignite accountability and drive completion). He informed me that he had been promoted and was now too senior to talk to me and asked me to pay an additional $150 to complete the job. My son's book was less than 20 pages, short text and and primarily pictures. Outside of developing the book cover from a photo we provided, even with their formatting work, the book looks very similar to the way I sent it. After several phone conversations and email exchanges with different people in their leadership team, I had to let it go. As a final request, I asked for a partial refund (of the 6 tasks they'd failed to complete), to no avail.
I committed to myself that I would write a review to help others to avoid making the mistake I did. I wish that amazon pro hub or amazon could have helped us make good on what we wanted to be a $350 investment into my son's authorship debut. The $350 now feels like a sunk cost. My son is now a full year older so his back cover biography is outdated. He's asked me about the book and we are unfortunately starting from scratch.
Because we have not received closure or our paid-in-full product, I welcome a value-added response from Amazon Pro Hub and/or Amazon to this post.
Alex Roy continually contacted me to submit $6000 to him with the guarantee that I would receive $12,000 in 6 months off the residuals made from my book. If this didn't occur, he repeatedly guaranteed me that I would get the entire $6,000 back right after the six month period. The book only made $1000. It didn't happen and he was only willing to give me 40 percent of the $6,000 back. I was scammed! I am a senior citizen and Alex Roy is the most corrupt and dishonest person I have ever encountered. Stay away from this company

Poor communication where they don't listen to your needs, the quality of work is very poor and when asked for a refund due to their horrible output they refuse until litigation is brought up. Then they won't reimburse fully,
I entered into a contract for Amazon Pro Hub to perform marketing and they failed miserably. They refuse to honor the contract or issue me a refund. DO NOT use this company. They will make you promises and cannot keep them. They are dishonest and incompetent.
I always laughed at suckers who were tricked into sending $ to places that scammed them-- until i lost $620 by AP-H. They use the AMAZON name to sucker writers to publish with them, but it's just a marketing business with no American-born employees to guide the writer- & they have no editors. My bk. Looks like it was written by Apu.
Tip for consumers:
any dictionary can call itself WEBSTER"S, & to my regret a scam publisher like AMAZON PRO-HUB can call itself AMAZON.
This is a scam. This publishing company has no connection with Amazon. They only use the name to scam people. They call their clients before they realize that they are being scam so they could write good reviews on multiple sites and i know it because i did it. They called me multiple times until i agreed to give them positive reviews even though they hadn't done anything for me yet with my book.
It's the lack of professionalism from a certain employee that confirmed my fear. And i made a lot of researches to find the truth. I can't tell you how bad this is since I stopped everything with them before they could steal my money. You can do some researches to realize that normal publishing companies don't ask for money up front, they only take a commission fee for each books they sell. The real Amazon publishing company is called, Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing, (KDP).
My first time to work with AMZ to publish my memoir. Project manager was helpful in guiding me through the steps. It took several calls and missed calls and emails back and forth. But in the end, I'm happy with the result. I'm not sure how long publishing a 100-page book should take, mine took less than four months. I doubt there's any publisher out there that is trouble or problem free. It really depends on the project manager. My first one was an exercise of frustration. The second one made the world of difference. The fact that AMZ assigned me a different project manager speaks well of them. At least somehow, someone noticed and made the changed. Of which I'm grateful. Nothing is perfect, but based on my overall personal experience, I would choose AMZ Pro Hub again.
Mr. Danny Morrison, Senior Project Manager, was fantastic to work with. I have never submitted a book project to Amazon before, and he made it very easy for me. We had many emails back and forth along with many phone calls and I was very happy with the process. Amazon is a big corporation, but I received individualized service which was exceptional. I highly recommend him to help with any book project you may have.
Yes, Pro Hub can "publish your book on Amazon and Google as a paper and ebook edition. That's what they CAN do. What they CANNOT do is everything else they promise. They make it sound like they are very tied into the latest and greatest trends and techniques for e-marketing and publicizing, but they are absolutely inept. For starters, they will offer a "guaranteed or your money back" publishing deal in which they assure you they can sell lots of books. For me, after 18 months, they have not sold a single copy. On the other hand, I am responsible for all online sales (about 40) as I taught several workshops and classes. The contract promised a webpage; they wanted me to pay extra for that. I refused and they charged my credit card anyway. I threw a fit and they reversed the charges and produced the webpage as promised. After a year of no sales, they stopped all activity and refused to return my texts and calls.
ProHub promises unlimited editing and revisions. Beware. Without telling me, the ran my text through an AI editor that changed text, punctuation, quotes!, capitalization, and so on. They did not tell me they did that. I caught it AFTER the book went live. They had to take it down while I went over the text line by line to fix as many problems as I could find. Why did they do that? Because ProHub's content writers have terrible English skills and are incapable of offering any kind of worthwhile editing feedback regarding style or content.
I wanted to produce the print edition first, they produced an ebook edition first, which made formatting the print edition almost impossible. ProHub editors/staff have no sense of style or elegance and will produce ugly copy. You must pay attention to proper pagination, page numbering, running headers, TOC layout, everything. The first cover layout had spelling errors. The first print edition had the book cover upside down. The second edition had been secretly re-editied as mentioned. The third effort had lost the correct pagination.
ProHub will produce marketing materials (blurbs and blogs) that are so badly written I had to rewrite all of them myself. I finally had to take over the task of writing the blogs for them. The advert blurbs got much better, but I suspect they were using ChatGPT or similar. They wrote their own "reader reviews" for the webpage that were blatantly from ProHub due to the recognizably poor language they used.
Summary: They will promise the moon and deliver nothing. I saw ZERO evidence of sales from their side. I can only hope they were not so crooked as to set up a sales link that redirected the profits to their own accounts. They claim to not know how many books have been sold on Amazon, so how were they going to live up to the contract of $10,000 in royalties if they had NO IDEA how many books were sold? So, shop around and be wary of all publishers that make huge promises and who do not use their real names or locations. By the way, ProHub will also shuttle you from one project manager to another about every 6 months and ask for extensions on the contract they can avoid meeting their promises.
For transparency, I am a non-fiction science writer. My first book was published through large and well-known publisher that sells a lot of books, but royalties were $1 per book and limited to about the first year of sales (they sold the ebook copyright and I got about $2000.) I wanted to go to online sales with this book to increase royalties and to lower the price of the book. In other words, I wanted a bit more control. Working with ProHub without doing my homework was a rookie mistake. Don't make it.
To give my remarks context, I had published four books before this project with Praeger, Brill, and ABC-CLIO.
To be fair at the outset, my book series project was certainly unlike anything the Amazon Pro Hub team had ever seen, both in content and in format, so understandably, there was a long learning curve, not least because I had to struggle to understand what it was they were having trouble understanding. I made it very clear at the start of the project in September, that because of the time-critical content of the first book in the series, it was very important to publish it in time for the Christmas buying season. Because of the many problems and delays, that target was missed, making that book less marketable.
There were other issues. For one thing, I had repeated concerns regarding the marketing copy the team offered up. Much of the subject matter was very tangential to the content of the book series, while some of it was entirely irrelevant. It seemed to me that the team plucked items at random out of the books' contents; the choices made did not reflect an understanding of purpose of the project. I had to reject the proposed copy for one marketing video trailer and write new copy from scratch. At times, the excuses offered were incredible: "I really don't have enough content to place it over on this video." They had four complete book manuscripts... they didn't "have enough content?"
Also, the writing quality of the PR copy was uneven, to put it charitably. The attached photos document the amount of re-writing I had to do.
I was entirely unprepared for the all of the web publishing issues that were dumped on me: Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Google, IngramSpark, et cetera. I am a writer; why didn't the Amazon Pro Hub team handle all of this stuff? About a month was lost in the back and forth between the team and me over these issues. It would have been far more efficient for the team to do this effort in-house, where the necessary expertise should reside.
Finally, the management of this project was unlike anything I have ever seen. As an Air Force officer, I served on project management teams for satellite programs of the highest national priority. We had schedules which laid out the timing and sequencing of milestones, including the time-phasing of expenditures and the full disclosure of them up front. Both sides, the customer and the contractor, knew what was expected. In contrast, on this book series project, I hardly ever knew what to expect. There was no clear picture of how the project was doing or where it was going. I was repeatedly surprised with new tasking and additional costs. I do not lay this criticism at the feet of the team lead; rather, I see this as a training and process issued to be addressed.
All this being said, I am very pleased with the art for the book covers and for the video trailers. Also, the team lead was very pleasant to work with, despite the frustrations I have.detailed above.
I never expected my book series to be on the NYT Best Seller List. On the contrary, my expectation is that the first book or two will be loss leaders while a market develops for the series over a period of years, especially as the goal of sending humans to Mars becomes more immediate. However, I am dismayed by the problems and the delays I encountered in this project in relation to my enormous expenditures. I didn't expect to become rich, but neither did I expect to be driven to the steps of the poor house.

When I initially sent my document to be published, everything went well and soon was live. However, when I tried to order the author's copies, they would not show on my amazon.ca site because I was using two different addresses. I spoke to several people at Amazon and was finally told to delete everything. Unfortunately, this deleted my KDP account as well. It took some time to sort this out and cost me extra money to republish. Even then, for some weeks, the paperback edition did not show. In the end, once all formats became available, I was happy with the final edition. I am also impressed with the efficiency that orders are received by the end user. Shawn Russell has been a wonderful help along the way.
It took awhile to get the book Formatted on Amazon, but Amazon Pro Hub finally did. It's not a fast process. I would have given it 5 stars, but the communication was far from perfect. I kept having to write to them to ask questions of what progress was being made. The signed agreement did not state that I would be starting with the process to be groomed for more money. Be prepared as it's best suitable for previous authors! I was blindsided and felt it should have been communicated from the start. I just wanted what I paid for. Eventually it was done.
I feel very blessed to have found Amazon Pro Hub to publish my book. They offer so much more than if I had published the book on my own!
I am writing this review as the publishing of my book is still a WIP (work in progress.) However, I believe my offering a review now might help other aspiring authors as they search to publish a book.
First off, I was ready to publish my book on the Amazon KDP site myself. I have a great deal of experience in the PC and Internet-based world, so, I could have done this myself. (I actually purchased my first personal computer back in 1983. This was before Microsoft Windows even existed.) Yet, once I learned all of the incredible features that Amazon Pro Hub promised to deliver, I happily agreed to have them handle the task instead.
I am very pleased with everything that Amazon Pro Hub has accomplished thus far. My project manager, Trevor James, has been magnificent in managing the entire process. (I wholeheartedly agree with the other positive reviews that have mentioned Trevor's name.) It has only been a little more than a month since I began the publishing process with them. Under Trevor's guidance, his team has already delivered on numerous important steps of the publishing process.
I look forward to seeing additional, excellent results from them in the near future, AND leaving them another five-star review!
The team there are professionals and worked well with me. Their knowledge of book publishing made it easy on my end as a customer. I would highly recommend Amazon Pro Hub if you are not familiar with the book publishing process. I learned a lot and will use that knowledge when writing my second book.
Thanks Libby, we are grateful for your feedback. :)
I am a first time Author who after much diligence, decided to use Amazon to Publish my book. I was immediately connected with my team leader Trevor James, who explained the editing process and let me know what to expect. That's right, I said Team. To my surprise, Amazon has a full team of professionals assigned to my Book and helping me publish the very best version. They have been there every step of the way to support a newbie Author like me and answer any and all of my questions. I am very impressed with their communication, suggestions, editing and graphic skill sets and will definitely use them for all of my future publishing endeavors. Funny, many times someone tells you to "call them anytime" but you can barely get them to even call you back. When I call my team leader Trevor James, he always gets right on the phone and takes all of the time needed to answer my questions and set my mind at ease. Amazon and their peeps have made this process an easy and enjoyable one, and I highly recommend them and their services to all Aspiring or current Authors.

Book published
Copies getting out. Feedback good
It was my first book and I appreciated the help
I would like to commend Amazon Pro Hub. I used this service for publishing my book - listed above - and did self-publishing. My mentor, Chris Young, Associate Manager, was awesome through the process. Getting a book to the point of publishing is a step-by-step process, and can be tedious. The whole staff was professional and amazing at helping me.
Working with Amazon Prohub for the last 6 months has been great. We have had some issues but were able to resolve them
The staff was courteous and guided me with timely support for this effort. I will recommend other writers to use Amazon Prohub.
I was very pleased with the employees of amazonprohub.com. They were very courteous, and professional and detail and stayed with the timeline for the publication of 2 books, and soon will be publishing 3 more.

In general, my experience was a good one. I found my contact, Mike, to be receptive to my ideas and easy to work with. I would work with him again. I was particularly pleased with the cover art. It was professionally done, attractively formatted and captured the themes of the books perfectly. Well done!
My only concerns were with the text. I ordered two books. One was almost perfect. It only requires a brief adjustment. The other, however, had no page numbers. It erroneously included a description that was written for another book and needed an adjustment to the text. For example, as this is a play, some characters names appeared at the bottom of the page completely separated from the character's speech. This is bad form in a script and appears very amateurish. I have asked that these items be corrected in future editions. Overall, I rate the experience 8 out of 10.
Thanks Brian, we are delighted to collect your feedback. We wish to provide more quality service in the future.
