Called UHC.com to ask a few questions about the dental plans they offer. The woman from sales could not answer my questions, she could not tell me if my dentist was on the UHC plan; but she continued to attempt to sign me up for their Medicare Advantage Plan, asking me all the info required to do so. I wonder how many seniors she and this company has railroaded into signing up for a health plan without their consent. I've taken them off the list of prospective insurance companies. I'm thinking about filing a formal complaint with Medicare and the state.

First you just gave up your phone # to an incessant group of leaches with zero respect. Over 100 phone calls in less than an hour. Crappy people to deal with. I got health insurance on my own and someone from within market place pretended to be me and canceled my policy. No one cares that they harass u and illegals use your information. Worst dealings ever!

This isn't even insurance. It's a fleecing scam. Worthless policies that benefit everyone EXCEPT the public. You'll get better healthcare from Walmart or by going to Tijuana nowadays.

Every year, the information on the 1095-A provided for income tax is inaccurate. Sometimes they claim there were two "silver" plans available that were cheaper than my "bronze" plan (never true). Sometimes the numbers provided for the premium are wrong. This year (2019) they said I paid more than the premium they set because the plan covered acupuncture. Well, first of all, it doesn't. Second, they set the amount I paid monthly but the 1095 A doesn't give me credit for that amount, so I have to pay a penalty to the IRS. All plan information for the relevant tax year is scrubbed from their website before tax time rolls around.
