I feel bad for the people waiting because of shipping, but it takes very little time to get out of their warehouse. The shipping companies are to blame, Canada Post, et al. The clothes are exactly what I expected, not 'supreme' quality but some have been surprisingly very, very good. You can tell a lot about the quality just from the photographs if you know what you are looking at. I ordered way back in April and of course shipping was a disaster. I KNEW shipping was going to be tough over the pandemic. Not only did they fulfill the order, they refunded two of them, due to the terrible shipping times. I never complained, I never asked for anything, not a peep from me. I was just happy to be able to buy something, given the pandemic. It amounted to $250 refunded. Plus they sent me coupons for 20% off. Again, I asked for nothing. They did this on their own. They earned a customer for life because of their exceedingly good customer service policies.
Terrible customer service and staff. Manager in store lied to me about the fact that I could make a return and corporate management did nothing about it. Be careful, policy was taped on a little piece of paper that was unreadable in store and was pointed out to me by the cashier when I when to make a return. Will never put foot in any of their stores again.

The worst customer service, sorry no customer service. I placed an order two weeks back, and it is still 'processing'. Calling, there is no answer, emailing states someone will reply in a couple of days. Forget days, no one replies in weeks.
Selfish management know that they will keep making money and don't give a damn about customers or customer service...
Keep its up, won't last for long...

Stay away from them. Even on Christmas, my daughters ordered something. It was supposed to be delivered on December 2nd. Didn't happen and that week we were told that Canada Post lost the package. I requested they send another one, they said they have to wait for CP to finish the investigation. That investigation finished the second week of January. They refunded my money as they didn't have the items and they think they should apologize.
For sending another package, I was willing to pay.
I have had a brand new purse break as I was picking it up to use for the very first time. I couldn't believe it. I have had a pair of tights rip as I was putting them on for the first time (the waist band literally ripped off of the pant). I have had earrings and necklaces break as I was putting them on. I stopped buying their stuff as gifts for the young girls in my family out of fear that it would be cheap quality. I question the materials that their stuff is made out of as well. Not sure if they pay any attention to safety and quality.
Please do not buy online like a reviewer said earlier unless you plan on keeping. Do not use PayPal when you go to return at the store such confusion at least 20 minutes trying to figure out how to process it then say store credit because of PayPal. Bottom line stick to the well know department stores and no headache then want to keep your receipt when I said make a copy no copy machine had to use her cell phone. I will use this store credit I was forced into and I'm done
I placed an order a month ago and still waiting for any kind of update. My order just says "processing". I have emailed 3 times because you cannot even get through on the phone line... busy signal now matter how many times during the day you try. I have tried to even call a store to see if there is another contact number... all their numbers go straight to busy as well! They have my money and I have no product!

Ardene tends to have a high rate of discrimination, unnecessary stalking of customers who are black. I was followed in more than one store to come to this conclusion, keep in mind i am a Doctor and i do not wear Ardene's low quality clothing. Do not not order anything online from Ardene. I was sent a pair of defective shoes. I returned them through Canada post a month ago. It took them a month to process it. And you have to pay $5 stocking fee. I received my shipment, but the shoes were yellow when the were suppose to be white. They were not refunded. I have been on hold for almost 2 hours…no luck yet. Message keeps saying you can send an email…don t fall for that. I waited close to three weeks to hear back from them. Finally I had to call and be on hold another hour. It's a bad business. Buy in store NOT online!

These people are unreliable. They told me my order didn't go through so I did another the next day. What do you know i'm being charged twice for the same $#*!. Even though I contacted them right away they wouldn't cancel even though it's their fault.
I generally love this store! However, because of COVID-19, I had to shop online for a bra, and they won't let me return it. I've literally only worn it for a minute to see how it looks, and it makes my breasts look triangular. Very sad with the turnout, and even more sad by the fact they won't let me return it for at least a refund. I would advise against shopping here for anything "unmentionable". I probably won't be shopping online here again.
While waiting on line to pay my items, the cashier telling me to download the app so I can get a 20% discount, even though i downloaded as i showed them but since my phone couldn't load up the app after downloading since it a bit slow, so I didn't get the 20% as told. Everything is no return. I felt strange about this store.

One year ago I was new in Canada and want to purchase some clothes I was unaware regarding the brands here that which are good or bad. My friend who is also new like me suggested me to do shopping from here. I do shopping of 500$ and when I wore the clothes first time there was some holes on fabric worst quality I must say. I will not visited there store anymore and anytime.

Using a pre-paid 100 dollar MasterCard I ordered from 2 sites. The second site was Ardene. I had 37 left on the card and ordered 36.50 worth of stuff. I never received an update on the progress on my order. I received an order confirmation day 1 but how to track was not in the email.
7 days go by and I call MasterCard as the order is still pending. They tell me it was declined by Ardene. ( No email from Ardene telling me this)
WHY? Because I only has the cost of the order plus 50 cents left on my card. Apparently I need to have 20 % of the order on my card in case there are unexpected costs. That means I need to have the cost of my order PLUS 20 % of that before the order is OK'd
That is so bloody stupid. It is a pre-paid MasterCard which is basically like cash. If the card does not have enough money it cannot be used. A penny short and it is declined. Now I have to wait 10 days for Ardene to refund my money ( because they already put a pending on my card) and then MasterCard will put it back on my PRE-PAID card.
Cheep low quality company. I have used these cards for many years with so many clothing companies. Never an issue.

I ordered a few belts and some running shoes. I used a prepaid card . The order went through as the funds were there. Then without explanation the order was cancelled and i was not informed.
My first order: ordered boots, they arrived with a 5mm HOLE in the sole! No quality control? They contacted me and offered me 20% off my NEXT ONLINE purchase... of anything that's NOT 50% off! Their customer service should have applied it to my APP ACCOUNT and offered it towards ANY FUTURE in-store or online purchase! Poor customer service, poor quality control = bad business!

As a past employee I regret working for this company. The lack of professionalism and low pay for quality of work is when I had to leave.
Typically when i go the service is very nice and welcoming, but when i went today the lady was just rude! I went to the willowbrook mall and she was a white lady in her 40s-50s and was just rude. They were closing soon but I just asked her be question about returns and she gave the snippiest attitude. Horrible experience and that is not how you talk to your customers. No wonder no one really goes in there.

Ordered 3 pairs of shoes that I placed in my cart today. At checkout the total was 35.00 for the shoes. Hit pay 192.00 came off my credit card. Apparently your cart saves old stuff that you placed from long ago but doesn't actually show the items in your cart until you recieve the order email confirmation. Very sneeky Adrenes... this what you resort too to make your money. Is business that bad?

Bought stuff online for Christmas presents. Trying to buy gifts on a budget. The sweatpants came THE POCKETS WEREN'T SEWED! They had a huge hole in them! It came with two dresses I didn't order, one was nicely packaged and the other was separately not even in an Ardenes bag, wrinkly and smelly. Like it was used before. It was disgusting. An additional amount of money was taken from my account, I had to argue with customer service for an hour and still they won't give me my money back. I didn't shop at any additional store so I know theyre the ones who have my extra money I was saving for rent. The "super soft" pants are so soft but the fact the pockets aren't even sewed.
