I have not done business with Auctionexport in the past. But they have a good team that responses to your enquiry almost immediately. Sometimes, Auctionexport give you a direct phone call to respond to your numerous questions. I am researching them everywhere online in order to have people's opinion and experience about them. So far i am satisfied and look forward to buy from them soon. When I am ready to buy I need a vehicle that starts, runs and drives well, though. Hope i get one

If there is a negative star, I will not hesitate to give one. I was told about this company by my brother who has never done business with them before which later I found out after it was too late. I bought a 2008 Toyota Camry (hybrid) car from auction-expo for $1175.00, Before I bought this car, I tried to make sure that this car qualifies for roro that is, run and drive and the driver door must be intact by reading their terms and conditions. I also tried to contact their customer service which someone will pick up and refusing to help and give his name and send my call to an agent who would not pick up the phone and she later respond to my voicemail after like 24 hours at least through an email never bother to call. Later, someone contacted to tell me that the car does not qualify for roro because it is a hybrid which they never mentioned in their terms and conditions. After they added all other hiding fees and the total came up to $5058.00 what a huge amount for such a car and the worst part is that auction export went and reported this amount against the $1175.00 that I paid for the car to the Nigerian custom as was told by their assigned clearing and forwarding agent yeah right, as if he does not already know that that is what auction export normally do and I was billed an additional $3200.00 making a total of $8258.00 while a similar car in Nigeria is sold for between $3000.00 and $4000.00 that is, if you are even lucky enough to sell it for $4000.00. Now, I am stuck with the car while not able to sell it. Very selfish, greedy and ruthless company, they will prosper while they make you face big loss and cry. I Will never do business with this company again and never recommend. Stay away!

Oh, I forgot, they will even try to steal your money while you ask for refund and it also took almost 90 days to receive the car and they do not never offer RORO service. They only use it to lure customer to think that they would pay less and receive their vehicle on time. Thank you

Tip for consumers:
No suggestions. The company is bad already

Hello and Thank you for your review. In order for me to investigate further, please provide me with the email address or any names that were involved in not assisting you properly. Regarding the method of shipping your car, this is a new rule that came from a shipping line and not us, therefore, you were provided with this information as soon as it was available. Regarding your complain of us reporting the real amount to the customs is not very clear to me. We are a Canadian company and follow Canadian Laws, so everything was done correctly from our side. We always recommend to work with our sales agents, it is free of charge. Our sales agent is able to provide you with the Total before you purchase a car, so there will be no surprises for you. Please send me more information to sales@auctionexport.com and I will do my best to assist you.

I was always thinking about buying a vehicle from North America. Hopefully, I saw an add of Auction Export surfing in the Internet. First of all, I visited the site and I liked it. Please note, that Terms and Conditions are clear. They display all essential answers on questions that I think every buyer has. I am from Slovenia so I was afraid that Auction Export do not do shipping to my country. However after the call to customer care support department, my doubts evaporated. The customer care support agent was very helpful. I received even more details about their services.
So I was told that I need to have a minimum deposit at least 600 USD in order to participate in auction. I decided to take part in auction however my experience with bidding was low. And thanks god, Auction Export helps with bidding too. My sales agent helped me with that. Shipping was also quick. I purchased a vehicle in May and a few days ago I received a car.

Thank you very much Auction Export for you help! I am very pleased

Auction Export is a fraudulent organization you do business with them at your own risk! I paid $2000 to them as deposit in order to bid for a vehicle. Immediately after I changed my mind and asked for refund. They now told me they will charge me 3.8% to refund the money to me. Information they hide from me before the transaction. After sending several mails they sent me email that they were going to refund without a charge. To my shock and dismay these crooks to $126 from my account before refunding which was even far above the less the $80 they claimed they weren't going to charge me for. They are simply thieves!

Hello and thank you for your review. Please note that the information regarding the charges is available in our Terms and Conditions that are available on every page of our website.

Poor customer service. Very ridged with polices. I wanted to buy a car to ship to Nigeria, they gave me a very high cost of shipping that was twice higher ($2,270) than what shipping companies where charging, and when i got a shipping who was willing to ship at $900 they refused saying i must use their own approved shipping company. I asked for a refund and it is taking over a week to respond.

Hello, I sincerely apologize if we did not meet your expectations. AuctionExport is helping international buyers from 120+ countries for over 12 years. We have checked your history of transactions, and the $2,270 was the total cost of shipping out of California (ground transportation to the exit port + ocean transportation to Nigeria). As per our Terms and conditions, if you would like to do your own Ocean shipping, the ground (inland) must be on us. Hence, you were able to choose your own Ocean shipping agent. We always inform our clients about all possible options, as it's our best interest to satisfy our client's needs. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns in regards of this situation - marketing@auctionexport.com. We have thousands happy clients, video and text reviews available on our website - https://www.auctionexport.com/en/Home/ReviewsAndTestimonials. Again, we are very sorry for not meeting your expectations that time, hope to be of service to you in the future. Thank you

I bided & worn a vehicle at $14,000, only for auction export to send me mail after 24hrs that the car will not be released or soled to me because the owner refuse to accept the winning price.
This repeated three times with different cars.
On the fourth time I bided for another car, checked vehicle history report which I normally do & it was clearly stated by auction export as "VEHICLE STARTS, RUN AND DRIVE", I then bided and worn the bid at $16,808 which I paid for, waiting for my vehicle to be shipped, only for auction export to mail me again that the vehicle is not starting, I have to pay for towing.
I rejected the vehicle quoting the status of the vehicle auction export previously presented before I purchased the car. They replied that their inspector made mistake at the inspection site & got that result.

In conclusion, Auction export ended up removing about $1,600 extra for inland freight & ocean freight because the vehicle could not start then shipped the vehicle to me. Then when I received the vehicle, I saw the engine block & top cylinder was completely broken which I must to spend upto $10,000 to buy another engine.
Please stay a way from them, they have so much politics in their business and they aren't truthful and open at all.

Mark D. – Auction Export Rep

Dear Mr. Victor, thank you for being our loyal client and for buying multiple vehicles for the last few years.

In our response we would like to reply to each and every point you have stated to avoid any misunderstanding or confusion.
Auction has a right to not accept our Bid, due to the fact that there are multiple international buyers who may offer higher prices. It is not common but does happen, and we always update clients with the final status of the purchase.

We are very sorry to hear about your misfortune experience with your Ford F250. As per the Vehicle report the Ford F250 is a Salvage Vehicle with damages (accident car) - https://www.detailedvehiclehistory.com/report/vin/1FTSW2BRXAEB27700 which has been purchased AS IS. The vehicle was purchased on your behalf from a salvage auto auction.

Before we bought the car for you all the information available at the auction was sent to you including the note: "The vehicle sold under this contract is being sold "as-is" and is not represented as being in roadworthy condition, mechanically sound or maintained at any guaranteed level of quality. The vehicle may not be fit for use as a means of transportation and may require substantial repairs at the purchaser's expense".
After that you instructed us to submit a bid on your behalf at the auction.

As an experienced brokers, Auction Export provides all possible services to make sure that our clients have safe and stress free experience buying from auto auctions. For example, our clients can easily get a full list of history records associated with the Vin number. The vehicle history report can give you facts from the car's history: date of the first registration, the report indicates if the vehicle has any flood, taxi use, fleet, rental and/or lease records, dates of registrations and renewals, a manufacturers' recalls and date they were completed etc. By its definition the history report cannot give any conditional information, whether the vehicle runs and drives at the given moment. This information is known by all experienced buyers.

Auction Export can arrange an independent auto inspection to verify the true state of any auction lot. The inspection report will give you a clear and accurate picture of the mechanics and damage condition of the lot. Also, additional pictures and video of the running engine. The service should be requested 2-3 days before the sale, so we could find and hire a licensed inspector somewhere close to the auction yard.

Unfortunately, no independent inspection has been ordered by you for this particular car. It is not clear to us what inspector's mistake you are referring to? As there was no inspection.

The initial shipping quote we sent you prior to the purchase was an estimate, it is clearly stated in the email. The price given to you was for container shipping which later was changed to RORO Towable upon your request. Price also includes cost for changing the front tire to meet the towable service requirements.
Thank you

WATCH OUT--NOT A LEGIT COMPANY IN USA OR CANADA
WATCH OUT. I have bought at least a dozen cars from them and have learned the hard way. The first onse without much issues. However the more expensive and more you buy you will experience the issues: for instance: higher acution fee, higher fee for amounts transferred, AND 'run&drive' is till 'as is'that means: starting the engine without engine pan and oil means: it starts and runs... BE AWARE. Legal actions taken but there is no LEGAL company registered in USA or CANADA. It is run from Russia. Only postal address in Canada. So be aware and dont make the same mistake. Just go to several other USA legit businesses.

Hello and thank you for your review. I am very sorry for your experience. Unfortunately, purchasing used vehicles from Salvage Auctions for a much-discounted price does involve risks. All available information that is being provided by the sellers is always disclosed to all our clients and it is clients' decision to make the purchase. Please note that at extra cost you can always order an Independent Vehicle Inspection, which will provide you with more details about your vehicle. Please note that Auction Export is a 100% Canadian Company with a physical address in Toronto. You are always welcome to visit our office by appointment. In order to verify our legitimacy please read our Terms and Conditions carefully where you will be able to find our legal name, where Auction Export is our trading name. We appreciate your effort and will always be happy to see you back.

All they do is take your money and keep taking it, After paying storage fees, 're delivery fees and a huge inland transportation, my security deposit grew wings again and $150 was taking from it when I provided the Bill of lading documents to them, they came up with another storage fees that wasn't there before, Absolute rip off, please go to copart... Don't even sign off on Auction export account, they will take your money

Tip for consumers:
Auction Export is a US and Canada base company that sell Auction and Repo car but with a ridiculous prices and fees. for Africans it wont pay to buy from them, they feel there is nothing you can do

Hello Majek, I am very sorry that you had this incident. Please allow me to apologize for what happened. I am sure that there is a reasonable explanation for what happened. Our staff love helping customers and I am sure they did not intend to ruin your experience. I have checked your profile and spoke with your sales agent. You have purchased a vehicle and failed to pay on time, which accumulated additional fees, as we delivered vehicle from the Auction (to avoid Auction’s storage fees) to our warehouse. You have requested your own shipping, hence, the vehicle has been delivered to your warehouse, so additional charge has been applied for redelivery and storage, 15$ per day, the $150 you have mentioned. The Security deposit was returned to you in full. Again, I’ am very sorry for this situation, but if you would paid on time for your purchase, the vehicle would be delivered straight to your warehouse, and you would avoid all the expenses. Please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns. We do value your feedback, and hope to be of service to you in the future.

SCAM ALERT
I have bought about 7 cars from auction export but this is the worst experience i have had and i will never buy anything from auction export again.
I bought this car VIN #: 4JGDF6EE7HA******* mercedes benz GLS2017 on the 3rd of June 2022 and it was not shipped until 3rd of September 2022 after so many plea., it was shipped on forklift roro.

After i bought this car i tried to check its history only to realise it had suffered a sever accident, i tried to seek for refunds to buy another car of same model of clean title but i was replied i will forfeit 10%. I had to make up my mind that the car looks well fixed after the accident. I never knew of any inspector because i never used one on all other website i buy cars.

1. This car indicate RUN & DRIVE on auction export. I paid all money and expected the car to be shipped but it was not shipped, i had to send several mails only to get another debit note of $650 for fork lift carriage which i never knew i will incure since i assume its RUN & DRIVE.
2. I seek to know why the car was not driven i was replied that a mail was sent to me that the car had alternator problem enroute port, this mail i never got and nobody has indicated exact date i was informed. Uptill date no response on it because that mail is usually not replied by Nich who i assume is my account officer.

3. Contrary to your mail stating that its only alternator that is bad, i have long list of the motor parts that will cost me above $5000 before this car will become run and drive. Listed are the motor parts that i must change: Alternator, turbo charger, thermostart, upper roller, water pump, catalyst, steering rack, fan case, radiator hose,, airmatic pump, airmatic valve, front axle, 2 front linkage, and auxilliary radiator. Etc.

I must state clearly that auctionexport has shown that its not ready to attend to complaints and its ready to charge you for their own errors irrespective of their offer.

Such a scam website.
