“My fav car label.”

Ayham G.
8/19/23

There are a lot of BMW haters. But for me all the people that dislike these cars are those who haven't driven a BMW a single time. They think that the car is too fancy and overpriced. But all I see is the highest quality of manufacturing and the attention to the smallest details. If you want to understand what I mean go to your local BMW dealer and get inside the car. You will realize immediately the difference between other car brands.

“Headlamp Replacement..”

John M.
3/22/21

I had an issue with my 2018 headlamp filling with condensation and was advised to bring the vehicle in for a 15 minute inspection. Nearly 3 hours later the advisor came out to see my wife to explain they would now need the car overnight. I had just had the car detailed and professionally ceramic coated and whilst washing off the dirt this weekend I noticed extensive scratches to both my front fenders and front bumper the paint was pristine prior to this visit. Absolutely disgusted what poor service from a BMW dealership

I think BMW is the best choice for real men! Recently I bought my third BMW X6 and I'm the happiest customer ever. My children and wife also like it. It's good as for city drives as for long trips. In my experience BMW always were good and trustable not even for one year

I am a senior year student and my parents let me use the 2017 BMW i3 car for my school. It's an electric and gas engine car and it worked perfectly for me. I love the car and am planning to take it to college. All of a sudden the car is not working at my school.

My dad dropped into the BMW Wesley chapel service center. Initially they quoted $225 for diagnosis and they said $750 for diagnosis battery because the vehicle is not responding and they weren't able to find the exact root cause. This morning they called and quoted $15k for electric motor replacement. The car's worth is 12k but the estimate to fix it is 15k. Because they are not able to diagnose the issue and they suggest replacing the electric motor. We thought the high end cars would give more life but were totally disappointed and BMW failed in 6years. If the company is not able to produce the long lasting engine or motor they should not release these types of cars. They have to recall all BMW i3.

BMW broke my dreams and I will not suggest BMW for anyone in my lifetime.
BMW is just a status symbol not worth the money.
So don't buy BMW electric cars and lose your money.

When using Car Play with any recent BMW models, i.e. 2022 M550i, Car Play fails and it drops the device from Bluetooth, and in some cases, you will have to shutdown/restart the car to bring the device back online.

So… When on a two-way call in Car Play and you add a third person and conference this person into the call, the call continues to work perfectly fine. However, if someone else tries to call you, the call doesn't make it through and from the caller's perspective, it appears you are sent straight to voicemail and/or the call is rejected. It immediately shows on the car's display screen that a call is missed. This goes on probably 2-3-4 more times until that person just thinks they're being completely ignored. Trust me, my wife doesn't like it. While still on that same conference call in Car Play mode, I then attempt to call that person back and my device is dropped from Car Play all together; forcing me now to continue that call in handheld mode. I also had that same person call me back while on that same conference call and the call went through when not connected to BMW Car Play. This is no good in many states where handsfree is required and the law.

I noticed this 2-3 weeks after purchasing my beautiful 2022 M550i and brought it to the attention of the dealership, and I was ridiculed and told I was doing something wrong.

I then tried the same in a Prius and it worked fine. I also tried a Ford Explorer, Jaguar F-Pace, Mercedes S-500, and a Lexus. No issues at all. I then called BMW and got into it with their customer advocacy team and was told there were no issues. I finally went back to the same dealership and we tried 2 more brand new BMWs from the show floor. We tried an M-5 and an X-3. They all showed the same problem. I finally received a text message from my Sales Person telling me that the issue was known within BMW and that they were not going to do anything about it because no one else is complaining.

My real reason for wanting this to work is because I wanted a semi high performance vehicle that looked good and was powerful on the road. I'm also in high-end technical sales and with being more and more remote in the post-pandemic era, customers want to be more virtual than ever.

The fact that BMW acknowledges the problem and doesn't care to fix it is embarrassing when compared to a 20k used Toyota Prius where Car Play works perfectly fine and with no issues. The issue was so prevalent that I hardly drove the car (12k miles in less than 19 months) and just this past week I sold it back to the dealership. The car is truly an awesome and fun car to drive, but for a 90k+ vehicle all in, I expected it to perform better.

The car was my office on the road and it was a disappointment. Shame on you BMW! If a Prius can do it, so can you. The issue is software related and it can be fixed. Your total lack of customer service and complacent ways in that your cars are great, which they are, and not wanting to fix is a shame. With current high inflation and a slower economy, all consumers should be aware of what they will encounter when buying a new BMW.

I was in doubt at first whether to buy BMW i3 or not as it seemed small to me after BMW x5, but my surprise was that it is a full size car inside even though it looks small judging by its exterior. The inner furnishing is very stylish and modern, it drives smoothly and silently, fast and securely, I totally like this car. Aso I do my input into the Earth by not polluting it anymore with gasoline. Thank you

I bought our first BMW for my wife in 2016. Her car was used, less than 15k miles. It has been a good car. However very disappointing on a service perspective. I would never buy another BMW and seriously considering selling ours. Since day one, every maintenance includes a large estimate for repairs. From $1200 to $5k or $6k of additional repairs. Maybe it is only mechanics trying to bank large commission checks, but BMW should consider this because it makes BMW look to be a very poorly built car, with huge repair bills before the car even gets close to 80k miles. Example of extreme charges. No problems with car battery, but mechanic says it is weak. Charges $700 to replace battery. $3,500 to replace radiator hoses... Buyer beware.
