Bol.com wants to scam me. I paid nicely. But after 2 weeks they say I didn't pay anything. I have sent a screenshot of my bank account and also an official bank statement, but they still won't accept it. And they threatened me with the collection agency. I will definitely not pay twice! Everything goes to court. I'm going to make a youtube video of this case. They always say, "You will be contacted as soon as possible.", but they don't do anything at all. They are dirty scammers! In December 2019 I ordered a USB cable that happened to be out of stock. The money was taken from my account. I canceled the order after a week of two, but it is already three months that Bol.com cannot return the money. All my chats/calls/emails to their Customer Service end up with their phrase - "Oh, that is different department, we will check what is going on" and then SILENCE. No more Bol.com for me! There are a lot of other better organized web shops.

Bought 2 times shoewares which I did not receive and contacted bol.com several times, but their chat service which is automated is designed to convince you to drop your complaints. Only when using key words like "scam", "swindler" 'legal", "prosecution" will they have real persons to respond. Their whole strategy is not be honest, but to avoid being prosecuted. There is only one word: crooks. When reading some review here, they are obviously written by their staff. This company should be closed by law.

Extreem teleurgesteld. Ik heb te lang op mijn bestelling gewacht en kreeg een boek vol vuil aan alle 3 de zijden op de bovenste pagina's, modder of zoiets. Ik betaalde 80 euro. Ik zal het boek terugsturen. Wacht op mijn andere bestelling die sinds december in de rij staat en zeg mijn bol-account op en kom nooit meer terug. Ik zal bij amazon bestellen. Slechte ervaring met jullie bol platform. Verdrietig. Ik heb enorme bedragen betaald. Ik heb geen 10 euro nodig. Respecteer uw bevelen en verwacht niet voor slijk dan 80 euro om boeken te accepteren die eruit zien als tweede en uit de modder gehaald. Nou, ik zal terugkeren en binnenkort uit als je platform

This is a Dutch online warehouse. Price wise it's pretty reasonable though it is definately not always the cheapest place to shop. Out of the dozens of orders I have made through Bol.Com all of them have always arrived, and though it does happen occationally a product is delivered late, it is never late by an exorbitant amount.

Their customer service is responsive and thinks with you to solve problems when there are problems with your orders or the products you buy break within it's warranty.

Returning your items is also free, which is a big upside over some other companies.

Tl; Dr: Trustable online warehouse, has it's up and downsides but generally pretty good.

In een laatste mail van 3 januari zegt bol.com de situatie niet op te willen lossen, waarmee zij een student proberen te neppen door een telefoon niet te leveren en vervolgens de consumenten wet aan haar laars te lappen. Deze situatie is nu al zo'n 3 maanden gaande, zonder enige progressie.
Op mijn mails wordt totaal onserieus gereageerd, ze zeggen bewijs van levering te hebben maar weigeren dit bewijs te delen. Telkens wanneer ik hier navraag na doe, is het enige bewijs dat de track&trace "bezorgd" zegt. Een handtekening voor een als aangetekend verzonden pakket ontbreekt maar dit maakt blijkbaar niks uit.

Ik raad bol.com ten zeerste af, ik zit nu al 3 maanden in een verschrikkelijke situatie dankzij hun.
Ik heb op 15 november 2023 een iPhone besteld met het ordernummer *******, maar ik heb het nooit ontvangen. Volgens de track-and-trace code zou het pakket op 18 november 2023 bij mij bezorgd zijn, maar dat was niet het geval. Ik heb ook geen handtekening gezet voor de ontvangst van het pakket. Toen ik contact opnam met de klantenservice, kreeg ik steeds dezelfde standaard e-mail waarin stond dat er voldoende bewijs was dat het pakket wel geleverd was. Ik heb meerdere keren gevraagd om dit bewijs te zien, maar daar gingen ze niet op in. Ze negeren mijn klacht en laten me volledig in de kou staan. Dit is een zeer onprofessionele en onredelijke manier van omgaan met iemand die al bijna 10 jaar klant is. Ik ben dan ook zeer teleurgesteld en boos over deze situatie. Ik voel me simpelweg opgelicht en bedrogen door bol.com, een miljardenbedrijf die een student laat betalen voor een product wat nooit geleverd is. Ook niet nadat ConsuWijzer en het Juridisch Loket zeggen dat ik volledig in mijn recht sta.
Bol.com is tegenwoordig een onbetrouwbare en slechte webwinkel, jammer om te zien dat het zo achteruit is gegaan.

I was repeatedly asked to recharge my account. I signed up as a part time job were I had to crab 50 retail line a day to promote the brand awareness. But I kept getting messages to verify my account because of management fraud. I did this once at a cost $100. Then a few days later I was asked to pay $575 to cover taxes in my account. I refused saying you only pay tax once you withdraw your money. Then on the 7th July 2022 my account was closed along with over $3000. I can't get onto my account, the mangers, helpline and support staff have stopped replying... how done get jy investment back?

I bought a product in Bol.com and I was supposed to receive it in 2 days but it's been 3 weeks now and I still didn't receive the product. I contacted the customer care twice to cancel my order but both the times they said they cannot cancel my order with different reasons and they were also rude. It is really frustrating when you are not given value as a customer. They say that they have to check with their seller but I bought it with Bol.com(their customer not the seller's customer) and when I ask them to cancel it they have to cancel it and not check with the seller if they can cancel it. It's the headache of Bol.com and their seller to settle it among themselves.

Bought expensive 3M mouth masks, only received generic off-brand ones. The exact same thing happened to friends ordering from the same seller. Complained to bol.com but only got generic answers, their site doesn't seem to offer any way to dispute these scams. They also conveniently don't publish bad reviews.

Op het product naar keuze stond heel duidelijk "Voor 23:59 besteld, morgen in huis". Vervolgens bij de checkout lag de vroegste dag die ik kon kiezen 2 dagen in de toekomst. Ik vind dit misleidend.

Vervolgens support gecontacteerd, die berichten vol met typfouten terugstuurde (typ gewoon engels als je geen nederlands kunt) en het op een of andere vertraging schoof, terwijl het product op voorraad was, er duidelijk "Voor 23:59 besteld, morgen in huis" op de productpagina stond, etc. Er stond verder ook nergens op de productpagina of tijdens de checkout iets over vertragingen, dus denk dat Gephaney het allemaal uit haar duim gezogen heeft
De medewerker toonde totaal geen empathie, verontschuldigde zich niet voor de fout op de website. Ze deed het voorkomen alsof het mijn fout was en/of het mijn probleem was en kapte het meteen af en vroeg of ze me nog ergens anders mee kon helpen, om maar snel van mij af te zijn. Slechtere klantenservice kan ik me niet bedenken.

Heel erg zonde dat ik mijn cadeaukaart al aan de bestelling toegevoegd had, anders had ik de bestelling ergens anders gedaan. Maar helaas is het systeem ook nog eens zo dom dat je cadeaukaarten niet ongedaan kunt maken als je ze niet gebruikt.

Was in ieder geval de laatste keer dat ik hier bestel, tenzij er een hele redelijke compensatie komt. Want de klant laten opdraaien voor misleiding van bol.com zijn kant vind ik meer als belachelijk.

Update: bol.com heeft binnen no-time na plaatsen van deze review via Trustpilot om extra gegevens gevraagd, maar tot op heden niet op deze review gereageerd, mij gecontacteerd o. I.d.
Erg aparte handelwijze. Was eigenlijk altijd tevreden over bol.com, maar helaas is mijn mening nu wel overduidelijk veranderd.

Update 2: ondertussen na 2 dagen reactie ontvangen. Er wordt aangegeven dat het probleem niet bij hun ligt, maar bij mijn cookies. Dit kan niet, want de browser die ik gebruik is net nieuw en heb nog nooit eerder bol.com bezocht middels deze browser. Net zoals in de chat, neemt niemand in dit bedrijf verantwoordelijkheid voor technische fouten aan het kant. Ik snap dat technische fouten kunnen gebeuren, maar geef het dan gewoon toe en los het op (of kijk er op zijn minst naar), in plaats van het op Jan en alleman af te schuiven. Hier kan ik echt niet tegen.
Ook zijn we nu 2 dagen verder en is het pakketje nog steeds niet onderweg. Er staat op de website heel duidelijk "wordt vandaag bezorgd" terwjil deze enkel bij de pakketdienst aangemeld, maar verder niets. Dit betekend dat het met groote waarschijnlijkheid ook niet meer gaat komen vandaag. Het lijkt er dus op dat ze i. P. v. "morgen in huis" een typfout is en ze eigenlijk "volgende week in huis" bedoelen.
Zowel de "morgen in huis" als ook het "wordt vandaag bezorgd" zijn misleidend en kloppen gewoon niet.
Zet er dan "voor 23:59 uur besteld, morgen verstuurd" en "is vandaag verstuurd" neer. Maar dit interesseert niemand bij bol.com, dus dan houdt het helaas op.

Scam! Smeren je stiekem extra diensten aan!

Jammer dat je geen lagere score kunt geven.

Mijn vriendin had iets besteld. Achteraf hebben ze er dan zelf een extra service aan toegevoegd (selekt) of ergens onopvallend laten afvinken op bestelformulier. Stond niet op de factuur, dus het viel niet op. Producten gewoon betaald volgens factuur voor de producten.
Achteraf sturen ze dan factuur voor die extra niet gevraagde service. Komt in spam terecht en niet gezien en dan na maanden komen ze dan met dreigbrieven voor incasso.

Bel je met de klantendienst en ze zeggen dat het geen probleem is om stop te zetten en herinneringskosten zullen worden kwijtgescholden. We zouden nog een mail krijgen. Tijdje niets gehoord, dus bellen we terug. Dan krijg je te horen dat de herinneringskosten niet kunnen worden kwijtgescholden. Ter info: herinneringskosten zijn jongeren dan de kosten voor extra service.

De producten die je er kunt kopen zijn duurder dan in andere webwinkels. Enige reden dus om er te kopen is omdat je denkt, ze hebben een naam en reputatie om in ere te houden. Blijkbaar fout gedacht.

Nooit meer kopen daar! Slechte prijzen, stiekem extra diensten aansmeren, klantendienst wil of kan niets doen.

Ordered a new dishwasher. The deliverers dumped it in the kitchen and were gone before I knew it. They didn't take back the old machine which was standing to be picked up as promised. After that I called customer service and they were just rude and hang up the phone more than once.

Tip for consumers:
Customer service is really bad, promises are not kept.

On January 14th we ordered a pair of shoes, and cancelled them. We also noticed that a "Subscription" was in the cart and we have no idea how it got there. We were first time customers and do not speak Dutch, and had to translate the website. Before contacting the agents, we tried to cancel this ourselves, via the website, but when we logged in, there was no way to cancel this either! Bol agents via FB claimed it was cancelled several times before the 30 days. Finally, we find out that while they cancelled the order, we were still forced to pay for the subscription, which we never ordered, nor intended to order, and we still continued to get a bill for something that was CANCELLED THE SAME DAY. How do you bill someone for something that was cancelled? So, we continued contacting them by email and FB chat, and they kept telling us the problem was resolved. But it was never resolved, because we then get another bill for 17 euros (which included late fees for a $9.99 subscription) and still no way to cancel the subscription, they threatened to send us to collections if this was not paid. WE have the chat, emails, and all communications, showing from day one we wanted it cancelled. They still refused to wipe the amount from our account. We filed a fraud charge, and it was accepted and we plan to follow this through to the fullest extent. We have now paid for something we never ordered, WILL NEVER PURCHASE FROM THEM AGAIN. Also, they admitted it was a mistake, and said they would refund us only to tell us they would not.

Tip for consumers:
NEVER BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE they scam, lie, and blame you for their mistakes.

Sad part, we never used this product, never ordered it, and asked to have it cancelled the same day. We were forced to pay for it or go to collections. Feel very scammed and scared they are doing this to other people.

I was ordering a ssd drive and the price was at 208€ then when i went to pay it had increased to 214€. I had several items in the basket so if i had not verified it would not have noticed.
I will never use BOL.COM again!

Don't purchace from them.
I ordered twice! I received wrong item once and they never replaced it and 2nd time they sent me a fake item in the place of 160€ item i ordered.

Bol.com scammed out of 750,000 euros
Online retailer Bol.com deposited almost 750,000 euros in a fraudulent bank account over a year ago, when the company believed they were transferring money to household goods manufacturer, Brabantia. A court in Utrecht ruled on a lawsuit brought by Brabantia against Bol.com for nonpayment, and determined that Bol was at fault, and ordered the retailer to pay the money again this time to the correct account.

In November 2019, Bol received a short email written in Dutch that the court noted was filled with grammatical errors and typos. The message was supposedly from Brabantia, using the company logo, and stated that the Dutch firm wanted to collect the money using an account in Spain. Employees at Bol fell for the trick and transferred the total amount of 745,624 euros to the scammers.

Stay away from this mess of a company. I ordered an htc one mini and my account shows I did. Then was informed because of a computer glitch, my order was not ordered, even though they worked well enough to get my money out of my bank account. Spent 15 euros on the phone and was informed my money would be returned to my bank account within 14 days... eventhough they had the product. Asked why then, if you have my money and you know what I ordered, then combined those two facts and send the phone. I guess that makes to much sense for this ridiculous company. I will never use this company for anything, and I warn you if you don't want an additional headache in your life, to stay far away from this place.

Bol is a seller you can trust. I made my shopping here several times. They always deliver on time and the products are exactly as described. Once I had a missing item in my delivery and they fixed the problem 5 minutes after I contacted them.

VERY big assortment. They have a big assortment of manga, somewhat bigger than bookdepository, but bookdepository is cheaper.
A minor complaint is their advertising strategy. If I look for something, The Item I was seeking will keep appearing in advertisements on other sites. But I think they only do that in my country since it's the same as bol.com's (netherlands)

I had a complaint, because the delivery did not take place at my home address.
As the delivery firm did not find me at home, they delivered in a tank station with whom they are cooperation. But that was not mentioned on the not they left me.
I took me 25 minutes to get them on the phone.
So I complained to bol.com about this.
They excuses (it was not really there fault) and gave me a serious discount on my next purchase. And this only took one mail and not even one day.
Very good service.
