My friends, i had recently come across this website named bookswagon.com which is a site selling books online. I was told about this site through a relative of mine and facebook too. It is a site purely about books. The unique feature about it is, it has a feature of ordering books apart from which they have ( they provide you that through a wish list), even they recommend great through different categories namely best sellers, pre orders, new arrivals, award winners, featured authors etc. It also provides different offers time to time that suit the pocket along with on time delivery and reasonable shipping charges. The customer service team of Books-wagon is good for nothing,
I ordered few books of decent amount from books-wagon at the end of June, the order was shipped by Amazon shipping and expected to be delivered to me on 5th July, On 6th July when I tracked the order I came to know that the package is damaged and returned to the sender by their delivery partner itself.
So the order did not reached me, and returned back.
I contacted to the customer service team through mails, and I was assured that once the package is received back, they will refund the money within 1 or 2 days.
The package had been delivered to them last Saturday and now it's been 6 days, and nothing happened.
I asked them again and again by mails and call, to refund my money but the customer service team is just ignoring.
I get only one answer from them that once they will check the package then refund will be initiated.
From last 6 days they were not able to check a single package.
2 days ago when I called them they assured again that refund will be initiated till end of day but as usual nothing happened.
I don't understand why they are holding the customer money for the package, which was not even reached to customer.
Now they left me no option but to raise a complaint in CONSUMER FORUM.

Bookswagon delivered a book (Brida) which was supposed to be new, but was actually old and covered with rust like stains all over it's edges. After raising complaints, they finally sent me an email (1 week after delivery) that return pick up will be arranged soon. Now after that I never got any tracking details in email or SMS. Some guy from Ecom express came to pickup a return product early in the morning, and he didn't say he was there for Bookswagon. I had a Shirt from Myntra scheduled to be returned on the same day, so I asked him if that's the product. He agreed, picked the product, said that I will get an acknowledgment slip in SMS. I waited for sometime but never got any SMS, so I reached out to Ecom and they said that the tracking was actually for Bookswagon and not Myntra! Now we all know that same courier partners are used by different sellers. Only thing that can help a customer is sending tracking details on their phone/email. But till date not a single tracking sms has been sent to me. My wrongly picked up Shirt is lost somewhere in the mail, and I still have the old rusted Brida book with me! All thanks to the horrible service by Bookswagon and Ecom Express!

Despite of all the bad reviews you use of this website, they are ok and fair in terms of manga and graphic novels prices. The disadvantages if I have to say about bookswagon are the customer service and using delhivery as the courier service. The delivery time is around 3 - 4 weeks for any international edition books and such.
