Got a good deal on a gun here and didn't have any issues with the whole process. I also got a lifetime warranty for about $18. My only issue is that the website is somewhat difficult to navigate and could be overhauled to a more seamless interface. Im giving 4 stars because nothing about the experience was over the top or excellent. I'd say good experience and I would definitely buy from them again.

Even on small items such as Magazine clips etc. I hate I ever did business with them. I'm stuck with an item I paid almost twice their listing price with once shipping and taxes was included. They have no working customer service phone line, or email contact. If you want to return an item you have to pay to ship to them, and a restock fee. That's ridiculous, no other company treats valued customers that way. In my opinion they should be called Bud's Pawn shop, instead after all they are ripping off the customers in the same fashion

U can't speak to a human! Tried over 10 times on hold over 20 min up to 42 before I hung up! Say use Norton they want respond! Buds takes no responsibility for anything! They sell so many guns, they don't care! Shop around there are much cheaper prices out there! So upset on my treatment I'm doing this everyday until they stop me!

Absolute worst experience! Advertise "discount" prices, but "nickel & dime" to the point you can go anywhere else and purchase at an average cost. Not to mention, way better service. I must have hit a nerve—politely called them out and they cancelled my order. No worries. I won't be dealing with them again—and I will convince others to take their business elsewhere as well.

False Advertising:
Their promotional emails are false. I followed a link for a sale on an item from their email within seconds of receiving it, and the item was over $120 more than advertised. I spoke to customer service about it, and they said that "all of those already sold out". Yet the item was still available at a WAY higher price? I then followed the link of all the other items in their email, and ALL of them were way more expensive on their site. This is nothing but false advertising. I will never buy from them again.

Terrible Experience! Website would not allow me to use a credit card! Customer Chat didn't work! Telephone Customer Service was unavailable! E-mail tab didn't work! After all of these Red Flags I will be making my purchase at one of their competitors. I would advise extreme caution if you use Buds Gun Shop online!
Ordered a new King Cobra and when I picked it up from my local gun shop we opened the case and looked in the plastic bag it was in to verify it was the right gun. Got home and took it out and noticed the front sight was missing. I called Buds immediately and talked to Dominick at their retail store on Saturday. He noted the problem and said to call Monday. Went back to the local gun store to ask their advice and upon closer inspection they pointed out powder marks on all cylinders and soot at barrell. When I called Buds on Monday was told they would give zero help as I should of looked at it closer in the store. Didn't think I had to check a supposedly brand new gun to make sure it wasn't missing parts! Didn't use a credit card so I have no option now except to sell it as used and take a loss. Learned an expensive lesson about dealing with a useless middle man operation like Buds Gun Shop. Pay the extra money at your local gun shop and stay away from this scam outfit!

They sold me a new gun (at a new gun price). But I received a used gun. They claim it said it was used, and won't help me at all (when I click on the link in the order it even says new). I can buy the same gun new at other gun shops, so why in the world world I pay the same amount to get a used gun? I have used buds gun shop before, but will never use them again. There support is terrible, and they are blatantly ripping me off.
Do they value as a customer? Absolutely not. Too many other sites to buy weapons from who will treat you better.
Purchased guns from them before, just placed an order for two more yesterday, and then called to see if they could cancel my order because I wanted to start fresh because I was looking to potentially get three different guns. Hasn't been 24 hours since first order. They would not cancel it without a 10% cancellation fee. I pushed back and said, all I want to do is buy more guns and it's going to take me a day or 2 to make my final decision, is it really worth charging me $100 and possibly losing a customer? They refused to remove it. I said last call, do you really want to lose a customer over $100? They charged me the fee, so just know that when you purchase from them, you're not worth a hundred bucks.
Bought a Springfield Armory 1911 Loaded Target advertised as new. When received it had worn marks in the mag well, on both sides of the trigger, scratch marks in the exterior stainless all that was not from factory test fires. The Springfield packaging the gun came in was excessively worn. The FFL used also said the gun was not in factory new condition. Apparently the gun was purchased and tried out by several buyers, therefore "not" factory new. Bud's replaced the gun with another same 1911 that was more worn than the first and also with excessivly worn factory packaging. Returned both guns to Bud's then purchased the same gun thru a local dealer that was definitely "factory new". Only received a full refund after Visa disputed it with Bud's for three months. Several gun dealers told me my experience is the same that has happened to other online customers around the country. This was my first and last experience with Bud's. I won't buy anything from them again.

"While I respect everyone's reviews and have not had issues with my prior purchases from Buds, I purchased a P365 Macro that included a second magazine that was clearly used. It was wrapped in a small plastic bag and while I inspected the gun, I did not look at the magazine. The finish was worn off and there is a small amount of rust on both sides! I have given them several business days (not including the holidays) to respond and all I have gotten is is a generic email telling me that if I had any questions or concerns about my order to contact them. I have sent several emails asking them if they would like pictures and asked if they were going to make things right as they should with any customer. I have gotten NO response. Clearly this company has taken their customer service to a new low. BUYER BEWARE!

Will never buy guns from Buds Gun Stores. I order a shotgun and told me it would take 24-48 hours and now they tell me it might take till probably 8/30/23 because it's a special order item. That's not what they told me when I ordered the shotgun.They don't ever answer live chat or answer their phones. I trusted them now I know the truth not worth it. This is the third time I called them and every time a different excuse..

This may seem like an insignificant fact, but actually makes all the difference in the world. Testing on gel media indicates the way this bullet is constructed, combined with the slower velocity of the.38 spl. Acts like a fmj with no hollow point.
If it we're a semi jackted hp as Buds claims them to be, they would act more like the remington sjhp and expand like a hollow point should at the slower.38 spl. Velocities.
I apologize in advance for this being such a long-winded review, but there's a bit of a back-story here. In 37 years, I've never been treated so poorly by customer service personnel. I placed an order for a Cimmaron 1851 Navy on Saturday. When I logged into my account on Monday to check its status, the order showed as being cancelled. I was baffled, considering my bank account had already been charged and I wasn't notified of this cancellation via text, email, or phone call. That's a reasonable expectation, is it not? When I called to inquire, I was simply told that "Bud's doesn't feel comfortable doing business with you." An hour later, after being berated by their supervisor (Troy), I was finally able to speak with a Manager (James). His disposition wasn't any better, and he proceeded to tell me that Bud's doesn't do business with "unreasonable" customers. Apparently the issue stemmed from a transaction that took place over nine years ago, in which I purchased a CZ handgun— a transaction I had long since forgotten about up until the following events jogged my memory.
You see, In 2015 I had never done business with Bud's before, and negative reviews for their company were very prominent at that time, but they were the only ones I could find that had the CZ Compact in stock. I was anxious after not receiving any indication that my order had even been received (it wasn't visible in order history, and I never got an email confirmation), despite having been charged for the firearm. When I called to express my concern and desire to cancel the order, I was told that I'd be charged a 10% cancellation fee. I threatened to take the issue up with my credit card company (whom sided with me on the matter), and I've apparently been black-listed by Bud's as a result— even though they never communicated this to me.
I've purchased countless firearms from numerous online vendors, and I have an A+ rating on Gun Broker for some 40+ transactions as both a buyer/seller but I'm an unreasonable deadbeat according to Bud's. Oh well… good riddance! I'd rather not do business with such a petty and vindictive company anyhow.
Fortunately, this story has a happy ending: I purchased the London model 1851 (typically more expensive) for less than what Bud's was asking for the standard version. I bought it from another company that actually wants my business and values me as a customer.
Bud's is great. They have lots of stuff at lower prices. The problem is "if" there is a problem. I had a delivery problem recently that was not Bud's fault. However, the nut job at Customer Service basically blew me off, and told me to track down the package on my own! Hey Customer Service, that's why I paid extra for the "extra" Insurance! Get a Clue.
I just got off the phone with Troy a supervisor from Bud's who informed me that because I had not waited enough time to file a dispute for an item that had not been shipped that Bud's policy is to not provide a refund or a replacement even though I had dismissed the dispute. He told me he wished me well wherever I shopped in the future and that my account at Bud's was suspended and future purchases could not be made by me. I took it on good faith that Bud's was going to provide me with the product after they found their error and withdrew the dispute only to find out that once a dispute is withdrawn no further claims can be made. Bottom line is Bud's keeps the money and the item I ordered and no longer desires my business. All other orders I have had with Bud's were sent promptly but this item never shipped. Each time I contacted Bud's I was promised a follow up contact which did not come until after I sent a chat and told them I was considering filing a dispute. I was contacted that same day and was told they were working on it. Shortly after the dispute was filed I was contacted and told the problem was that the item was picked up by the wrong shipping partner and a replacement could be made. That is why I canceled the dispute. You need to know Bud's policy as I understand it is to prevent you from doing business with them if you file a dispute with your credit card company.

This all happened on July 24,2023. After much searching around, I decided to use Budsgunshop.com to make a purchase on some firearm items. I regret this now as this business gave me nothing but trouble. At Budsgunshop, they have an option for financing. I choose the 4 payments option since it does not charge interest. During the check out process we're asked to enter our debit card so that Buds can charge the first payment and so that they can later charge the remaining payments every other week. So I enter my card and agree to pay (you must do this in order to complete the order). Right after they charge me $165.04, the order shows an error stating the amount financed does not match the total. Which is not true. Sure enough I check my bank and I was charged immediately even before I could click on complete order. Once that error popped up, there was no way to cancel or modify the order in anyway. I call them, no one picks up, I chat with them and the guy just tells me it's no their problem, that I need to contact the payment processing company. I call and those guys say it's no their problem either, that they have no info on me or this transition. Long story short, Buds NEVER helped and would not take responsibility for their check out processes glitching out and I was not issued a refund. I had to call my bank to get the money back. AVOID budsgunshop.com at all costs.
I thought Bud's was an OK place simply because they're big and do a lot of business. I ordered a new Bersa 45 and once at my FFL saw that the barrel was filthy being gunked up. It had been shot numerous times, The plastic case it arrived in had the sticker cut meaning that it had been previously opened. I was at my FFL when it was delivered so I know the agent didn't cut it. Go elsewhere!
