Long story short: carrier got my elderly father locked into a horrible deal. Another carrier was about a fifth of the price. Had some time to work on this, their first attempt to obtain code failed, and I had to inquire after day 10. Their response, was to try a secondary method. They did, and within 24 hours I had the code which worked flawlessly. Cost was reasonable, under $20. I would use the service again if needed.

Seems cellunlocker will take your money, then ignore you. No code, no customer support, just a voicemail that basically tells you you're on your own until it's convenient for them. Don't expect to get an unlock code in 72 hours or any timeframe they indicate. Based on their voicemail you have to wait until they get it or tell you they can't the time is up to them. I'm not waiting months. I will be contacting my CC to dispute and chargeback based on fraudulent advertising. THEY DO NOT have 24/7 service except to take your money. The chat they claim to have available is an icon with NO window that opens. Once you send an email, they throw up an ‘info' that tells you it can take up to 2 days to respond. So much for 24/7. This site is flagged by the BBB as possible fraudulent activity. I submitted requests to two different providers for two different identical Galaxy S9 plus phones on Xfinity. The other provider had the unlock code for me in 12 hours. They are on ebay. If you need a non scam website, try ebay. They'll make sure you get what you've paid for if the vendor fails. I have a feeling that many of the reviews on here are generated by cellunlocker themselves. Scammers have no problem claiming they aren't affiliated with the company. Order number 3803792 I have already begun the chargeback on the CC. Followup: I deal with political evasions constantly. I know a straw man when I see one. Let me 'debunk' the response below- Cellunlocker said: "You are claiming that you were unable to see our Live Chat button on our frontpage." I said no such thing. What I said was "The chat they claim to have available is an icon with NO window that opens" - no screenshot will cause that icon to open a window. They also said "One of the conditions is that you cannot request a cancellation while it is in process. If it exceeds the turnaround time then you can certainly request it." This is not what was on the voicemail. The voicemail clearly said that turnaround times are only an estimate. That refunds are only made if the unlock code does not work. Next debunking: You are claiming that you are not getting any email responses back. There are several possible reasons why. 1. You may not be emailing *******@cellunlocker.net or *******@cellunlocker.net 2. You may have accidentally unsubscribed to our email host. 3. Email landed in your spam/junk mail. I used their email contact on their website. They never responded. So #1 is debunked. I had no trouble receiving the cancelation email they sent AFTER the CC credited my account on the chargeback. That shoots #2 down. 3. There were no emails in my spam box. But the emails they sent AFTER my CC charged back landed in my inbox. There is #3 Their self generated email ‘proof of search' is as legitimate as Hillary Clinton's proof of turning over all emails subpoenaed. This company is toxic. If you run into this issue, at least you now have in their answer the following statement: "One of the conditions is that you cannot request a cancellation while it is in process. If it exceeds the turnaround time then you can certainly request it." If you decide to use these people, screenshot your turn around time shown. It will definitely make it easier to chargeback. And, you can always come back to this review and response and copy it to your CC. Don't let them get away with keeping your money as so many on here have.

Haven't written a review in a while but felt compelled to do so after this poor service, the only reason a second star is there is because the code was delivered. Initially on the site the turnaround time was within 2 days after which I contacted support and got poor service replies and snag remarks like can I just wait. Even after I asked for a refund because it took too long, they never gave me it. Never again will I be using their services and I hope this review proves to be helpful to others in the future.

The first time I tried this service, Cellunlocker.net was unable to unlock the device. Why did I try it again? They gave me a refund since the device was unable to be unlocked. Nice! However this second time around was a success! I'm actually using the phone they unlocked to write this review!
I only wish the process was faster as I was without use of my phone for 5 days. But that's better than forever!

Worked like a charm! At first, I was a bit skeptical of this site because it's a paid service, but they more than exceeded my expectations. I got my unlock code for my Samsung Galaxy S5 Active (SM - G870A) within two business days, and it worked perfectly. I never thought it'd be this easy to unlock my AT&T-only smartphone. Very professional and very friendly customer service. This is by far the best deal out there for unlocking your smartphone. Definitely a trustworthy company.

Tip for consumers:
Don't be scetched out by the service, the fact that it's a paid-service, or the appearance of the website. These guys are legit!

I was skeptical at first and I read a million reviews but they only wanted 20 dollars to unlock my att note 10+ Soni figured it was worth a shot but I honestly didn't think it would work. Four days later my code arrived (it had said 24-72 hours) and I thought it wouldn't work but it did. Amazing! 20 dollars for an unlock and super quick turn around. Stop reading reviews and give it a shot. I am sure if they were not able to unlock a phone they would give a refund. They are definitely legit.

Where should I begin... I will begin with this company is an absolute fraud and scam artists. I paid on November 15th, 2020... they finally sent me a code on December 7,2020 which DID NOT WORK! It takes them weeks to even get an email reply and that is when you are constantly emailing them about your order status. DO NOT listen to the 5 star reviews on here as you will see they mostly all have only 1 review and that is for this company which they fraudulently post either themselves or have a 3rd party company pay for it. You do NOT get your access code within 24 hours or even some posts say 5 minutes! You have to beg them for the code and when they say "its unlocked, no code needed" I was perplexed. Its a scam and this is warning to everyone not to EVER use them. Like others if I could give 0 stars I would.

This is not an unlock code service as your phone does not use a code, we unlock it on the T-Mobile server, once unlocked you can simply insert a different SIM use the shortcut to the unlock app or run the unlock app to complete the unlock since it is now approved for unlocking. Please trust the negative reviews on Sitejabber and not all the fake positive reviews. This company is a fraud. The website looks legitimate. They even have an online chat that responds to your questions before you make the mistake of placing an order. As soon, as you place your order, the online chat is not available to you. That was the first hint that something was not right. Here is my true story: I purchased Google unlock service and after I placed my order it said my receipt had been emailed to me. No email, no receipt. Second hint something was not right. I emailed company and told them I had not received my order confirmation email. No response. Emailed them again and no response. Website says to wait until your estimated processing time has passed before you contact them, but website also says they are also available 24/7 and will respond to emails within 1-2 business days. If you try to call, you will get a recording. I never received any information about my estimated processing time. If you chose to believe all the fake positive reviews and place an order with this fraudulent company, at least use a credit card, so you can dispute the charge when you don't receive service.
Also, check out the BBB. It gives this company an F rating. That tells you something.
I want to thank the reviewer that suggested using service from Ebay. That's where I am headed. At least with Ebay, there is buyer protection. Can't loose your money like you can when you purchase service from illegitimate companies like Cellunlocker.

Horrible Scam! I requested 2 times on their website to cancel and get a refund due to my phone was stolen and I can't use the unlock code. I sent the 2 requests before my order was completed. They say they can't refund me my money back. $139.99 I feel was stolen from me.

All I wanted to do is unlock my new IPhone 11 Pro Max so I can use it when I travel overseas. I searched through a bunch of YouTube videos on how to do it and I stumbled upon this CELLUNLOCKER.NET. So I took the risk and placed an order to unlock my phone. Waited for a whole week thinking I got ripped off. Finally got an email stating my phone is unlocked. Took out my Verizon SIM and popped in my old T-mobile SIM to test it out. It works as promised and I'm happy I didn't get scammed. It's really 5 Stars for this review. I trust this company now. I'm very disappointed. Waited almost for 3 weeks to get the unlock code for my damn phone. Then they told me to pay additional extra high fees. Which is ridiculous...

All I can say is that I had no trouble unlocking my BlackBerry phone by following the instructions. They followed up on my experience the next day to see if I had any problems. You need a sim card to connect to the Virgin network. You can get this at a Virgin Mobile store or on line. You can go on line to sync your phone and follow the instructions.

I travel a lot and I have owned many cellphones. I have always found the network providers to be really uncooperative regarding unlocking "their" phones. Yesterday my sister needed her phone unlocked and we were in a hurry so I went online and found Cellunlocker. The website is really clear, it cost less than $20.00 Canadian, and I had my sister's phone unlocked in less than an hour. The entire process was very easy, I think if people are struggling, it's because they haven't taken the time to read the directions. Measure twice, cut once! Highly recommended.
