“Anarchic satire of BenzoBuddies and the anti-psychiatry movement”

Marg R.
7/23/18

Cesspool of Madness holds up a funhouse mirror to the doctor-hating culture of the BenzoBuddies community. It captures the bitter narcissism and hate-fuelled nihilism which the anti-psychiatry movement fosters as virtues. For those looking on with disquiet as our healthcare providers withstand smears and attacks from the fanatics, this site provides welcome light relief

“Alarmist site that is not factual”

Patrick J.
6/26/17

The people running this site have personal vendettas and axes to grind, all the while trying to masquerade as a legitimate site. The owner of the site used to be a member of one of the support groups, and his ego has been permanently scarred from being banned due to his stalking behavior. He is in desperate need of therapy and help himself.

Poorly-made, alarmist, sensational website which caters to only to madmen and seriously angry people. I would be careful of anybody who advocates and approves of the content of cesspoolofmadness. People who use this site on a regular basis have tried sabotaging people's recovery from addiction on Benzo Buddies. Of course EVERY website is going to have its jerks and idiots, but BB is simply NOT the "cesspool of madness" which Scott Gaulke and CoM members claim.

Just go to cesspoolofmadness.com and read what members there post--it's barely legible, angry drivel which is just hate-speech directed at sick and feeble people who are trying their best to find help. It's a travesty that anybody would ever even think of making such a website, never mind doing what Scott Gaulke did.

There is a class-action lawsuit which has been opened against Scott Gaulke for stalking people on myriad self-help forums like BB. He has been accused of using nearly every American self-help forum in existence for his own selfish entertainment. He targets weak, often suicidal people and manipulates them. There are entire sections on these very self-help forums dedicated to allowing victims to talk about Scott's crimes (which are now closely monitored because of Scott and people like him).

Moral of the story? Stay off of cesspoolofmadness! Every time you visit that site you are giving a criminal and a felon more power and more [false] justification.

I researched a lot on this website and it's EXTREAMLY bais they always show the worst of ever group just because it involves people with mental disorders withdrawing from pills that are making them worse then if they didnt take any. They try to portray benzo buddies as if they are all unstable and violent people (as if 4chan doesn't have an unstable person here and there)
They put people with austism and bipolar down regularly. And constantly are pranoid every thing that disagrees with psychiatry part of some sinister cult and part of some big evil conspiracy. These people post links to sites they claim are cult fronts and go and harass random people who are in these groups for no reason. The admin is a perv he likes harrasing vulnerable women and then trys to pretend their (unstable) after they get upset at him and trys claiming it's just (satire) and their crazy and mentally ill. Scott gaulke if anything is trying to get his own cult because he wants attention even if that means bullying and sexually harrasing others. This website plays heavily on fear and misunderstanding And pushes a very unhealthy stigma against people diagnosed with psychiatric illnesses.
And most of all he trys to get money for his (cause)
This whole site is a scam and it's about to be shut down don't be an idiot and give these fanatical circus freaks you money

The owner(s) offers no data to contradict all of the substantiated information in Wiki's "Benzodiazepine withdrawal syndrome" page. The owner takes posts out of context and uses libelous headlines while having the audacity of accusing others of stretching the truth. The owner posts people's names. Sure, the only people who read the page are people on the benzo forum, but this prick is deliberately trying to harm people's lives by posting personal information from closed online groups.

Clearly an ex-doctor who was nixed for overprescribing benzos or an employee of the pharm industry. That or some guy in his mom's basement who has nothing better to do that mine forums to update a page no one reads.

Links anyone who posts on the page to scientology, even though I've never encountered anyone on the forums who believe in that B. S. Has probably never dealt with benzos but somehow claims to know how people respond to them. I would love to demolish this guy in a brief debate on the subject, but he's too much of a coward to climb out of his den.

At first sight Cesspool of Madness looks like a crazy site but it's not as crazy as you might think. The true crazies are those psychiatric patients who need to blame benzos for verything that's gone wrong in their life. There are plenty such folk on sites like BenzoBuddies. Luckily this site provides a counterweight to balance out the benzo crazies.

Comedy is like that, and c. O. m. Takes a parodical appproach to benzobuddies and the literal madness that occurs there.

Cesspool does not 'target' vulnerable people, nor does it stalk or harass people that choose to go onto a public internet foruum and post their private madness and literally calll for the incarceration, suing and even murder of psychiatrists (oh yes, this does happen on benzobuddies frequently) then anybody has the right to copy the madness and comment on it.

That isn't a hate blog, what's hate is the anti-doctor culture on benzobuddies.

It's pretty clear that the only people here hating that blog either don't get the joke or are active benzobuddy members!

Tip for consumers:
Take it as a parody of a truly insane benzo forum!

The website would be more effective if the rhetoric were less heavy handed. As a recovered addict I know that the majority of what Scott says is correct, but he states it in a heavy handed way that turns people off. Benzobuddies dispenses incorrect and dangerous advice, but Scott is not always effective in pointing out the flaws in what Benzobuddies says because he uses a rhetorical style steeped in hyperbole. This is unfortunate because Benzobuddies really. Is a dangerous website.

Benzobuddies does indeed cause and promote drug-addiction in the name of drug-cessation. CoM has some issues, true, but nowhere, sorry NOWHERE NEAR as many damaging effects as benzobuddies.

It's fundamentally wrong to state so dismissively that the many, MANY members who left benzobuddies because of the abuse they suffered THEIR were simply imagining it.

Suicides, self-harm, depression, loss of self-confidence, being stalked by benzobuddies team-members, having your personal details left on public sections and a rfusal to remove them by the admin. Are NOT imaginary. It's the direct effect of being on the wrong side of that forum. CoM does NONE of those things to people that post on its' blog.

Think about that. I did!

After being a member of Benzo Buddies and even worse, the benzo Facebook groups. I realize Cesspoolof maddens is the sad truth. The Facebook groups and benzonbuddies site are responsible for many deaths. Why theyre still operating is beyond me and down right sick.

Cesspool Of Madness is apt. LOL The BenzoBuddies site is a ridiculous joke of a "support forum." Bunch of fearmongering, fruitcakes out to convince anybody on benzodiazepines that they are doomed for LIFE. HAHAHAA! Fools. Of course... everybody on benzos is doomed to be brain damaged for life. That's the general consensus, having been a member of the cult that it really is. Keep it up, Cesspool! Keep on outing the poor, ignorant (in its literal sense) and willfully ignorant members/admins.^5
