They are a Scam and Fraudulant! Uncooperative and Rude. I was charged $96.00 on 12/07/2023 without my approval. They said that they renew every 4 years and one must let them know after automatically doing so to cancel before the next auto charge. Do not do business with this company they are not to be believed.

Stoe 99 dollars from me without any notice. Charged me that much to renew and did not tell me of the pending charge. Did not get refund even though I asked for one. Crooked. NOt worth the robbery. I was dubious about spending 12 dollars a year to see my fat old classmates. Run away from these guys. Robbery

After subscribing, the names of people who "visited" me were blurred out. I reached out to customer service for assistance with this issue - they responded by giving me the option to cancel my subscription. I have managed many help desk/CSR operations and would have retrained/terminated anyone who provided this sub-standard level of service. Step-up Classmates with at least a modicum of service for subscribers.

Classmates business practice leaves a lot to be desired. Don't give them you credit card. They take your money and you have no way to get it back. Buyer beware.

Classmates makes it unnecessarily difficult for friends and fellow students to find photos I've posted for them to see. It offers very little to users compared to other social media programs even though Classmates charges membership fees while others are free. And now users encounter numerous advertisements while using the Classmates app, so users pay to view ads! Prepare yourself to be disappointed!

So I got a yearbook from here and let me tell you this was not my first choice after reading what people had been through on classmates so I looked at other places but this was the only one that had the yearbook that I wanted so I prayed to God that it would come in time for a gift that I am giving and it did! I am sooo happy with how it came out and that it came on time for my mom's birthday gift. If you are wanting to get a yearbook from here get one but I know for some people things go wrong but sometimes you have to take a chance and let me tell you I took a Big chance lol but it came and it's the right one so I am happy

When I first learned of this site, I was given a 'lifetime' membership. I understand things change, but there was no communication or exceptions. I have yet to return and my school had their 50th anniversary last Sept, which I did not attend.

Oh friendly until they get your CC info then it's over. Obscure directions to cancel which leads you to a screen that they ask you to select auto renewal to cancel which you just selected auto renewal. These people are the low of the low. I have dealt with blatant thieves before, the only thing they are missing is a gun in your face. Please people avoid at all costs or join the herd trying to stop them from robbing you blind. After numerous years I'm going on this site and reading about the classmates I finally decided to make the plunge and join their group with the $10.30 for 3 month subscription yes I agree to the agreement I did not know that I was agreeing to a automatic charge to my credit card monthly after I was recharged a second time of $21.30 I believe I called up the cancel took me forever to get somebody on the phone and finally I was told that they have no cancellation policy I was flabbergasted this is the second time in 2 weeks that this was done to me by classmates and also another website I put a complaint in through PayPal turns out that there's nothing they can do and I figured that before I put the complaint in but if anybody ever wants to try to get on to this site please do not ever sign up cuz it's the worst thing you'll ever do if you look at the reviews which I normally do but this time I didn't because I've been on it for off and on for years the site is only rated with one point star so as my title is scammed that's what I believe classmate thing it's a shame that people are out there trying to join this to connect with former classmates and these people found a way to rip you off please tell all your friends and anybody else never join this site I'm just glad I caught this mistake before it got too far I can't imagine how many other classmates out there have gone on and not even realize they're being charged

This website is so bad, I want a refund even though I never bought anything. Everything is locked behind a paywall, plus this website is extremely useless, there's Instagram, Twitter, and other social media. I don't understand why people still use this. I hope you guys get sued

The people who've viewed my Classmates profile are people who were at my schools at the same time. Which is fine. But now it's just stopped at a certain amount of visitors and that's it. Yet there are people who's profile say's they've had 400 views. How is that possible?

I ordered a year book reprint for one that I had not originally purchased. Then I read all these bad reviews and felt I had just been taken for a bad ride. To my surprise within a few days i received a shipping notification and the book showed up at my northern home. I flew up there and inspected same and found that it was what I expected with quality commensurate with a reprint. Possibly they are trying to rebuild their reputation but I must be honest and call a spade a spade! Eveland from Cleveland.

I did NOT sign up for automatic renewal. They said I did. They are liars. Watch yourself with this company.

North Syracuse High School in NORTH Syracuse, New York - IS NOT the same high school as North High School in Syracuse, New York! Read this a couple of time before you discard it. I signed up for a lifetime membership with Classmates.com a few years ago. I didn't log onto the site often but they occasionally sent me notices by e-mail regarding classmates who had visited my site. I just recently checked in with the site and found a note from a good friend written to me back in 2019! I hadn't received any notification regarding that note, so it went unanswered until now, 2+ years later! With all of the notices I've received, I wish they had notified me of that one! My other issue is the constant requests for me to "upgrade" my account at additional cost so that I can communicate with fellow classmates! A lifetime membership should not incur additional costs to use the site. I hope that Classmates.com will take note of their many less than satisfied customers! It could be a great site if they make some needed improvements-it's a good concept! Thanks!

I got on Classmates years ago but always just used the free version. It wasn't very useful. They were always sending me emails about people who were not in my class and most I had never heard of. I never signed up for any payment option. Then one day I got a notice from PayPal that they had paid $96 to Classmates! I contacted PayPal and they said it was a recurring charge that I had signed up for. I had not! PayPal was not very helpful. They said there was nothing they could do until they contacted Classmates. I called my credit card company and they credited my account immediately and sent me a new card with different numbers. I have cancelled my Classmates account. I would like to cancel my PayPal account but they won't let me because they consider this an "open claim". This all happened six months ago. They said they can't close it until they hear back from Classmates!

Claims you can find classmates you potentially know but then hide them behind a paywall. It's impossible to find anyone.

I ordered a yearbook for my husband's NYC-based high school and was sent one from California. When I tried to get a refund for THEIR mistake, they refused! They are not reputable and have scammed far too many individuals! I should have researched Classmates.com BEFORE doing business with them. There are tons of complaints about them online! 'CROOKS & SCAMMERS are we, Classmates.com'... should be their tagline!

When my account automatically renewed in 2021, I called to cancel it. Much to my surprise, they auto renewed it again, today, in 2023. The renewal notice went to an email address that I no longer use, so I didn't find out about the renewal until it showed up in my PayPal account. I called Classmates today, the same day that the renewal went through, but they are refusing to refund my money and claim that they have no record of a prior cancellation. I have not used Classmates since I cancelled my membership in 2021.

I signed up for services, introductory rate. They say it's automatic renewal and I was told. I wasn't. Then they double billed me claiming I signed up under 2 different email. I didn't They refused to credit the double billing. Furthermore, they notify me of contacts from people from different classes. I'm overwhelmed with notifications. Then they say, I contacted myself.

Classmates is like the Roach Motel... you can check in but you can never check out. I have requested cancellation of my subscription several times... they make dealing with them so difficult... run around, run around, run around. They won't let you change anything unless you can give them the last 4 digits of the credit card you used to set up the account decades ago! Finally, I went to my bank credit card to block them from billing me again. Dreadful service.
