I have a number of diagnoses, some the standard variety, eg, CVD, post STEMI, osteoporosis. Others are less so and don't always have standard recommended treatments, eg, autoimmune scalp disease (LPP), restless leg syndrome (mine is "atypical," so the usual tx don't work well for me), dry eye, dry and wet AMD. All of these have OTC supplements and tx that can and/or should be used to help the condition. So, ConsumerLabs has been extremely helpful to me in selecting products that may help and then, of those, products that are best, or at least better, in their class. Thank you very much!
Whenever I have a OTC mineral or vitamin I always research it on this website. I want reliable, tested information to make the best educated decision and I find it no other place.

I would like to be able to influence not only the type of products tested but also the type of tests conducted on supplements.
I refer other Facebook visitors to go to ConsumerLab.com almost daily. Specifically, when I'm scrolling down my feed and encounter ads for supplements, medicine and such, I always leave this comment:
"😡 Any test, comparison and evaluation of dietary supplements, is irrelevant marketing, to promote this advertiser's own particular product choice. I'm not saying any of the advertised products are good or bad. But if it hasn't been evaluated by consumerlab.com (https://www.consumerlab.com/), this ad doesn't count. 🧐"

I originally went to Consumer Lab for supplements actual content vs. stated content and contaminates. Now I look at safe upper limits, what the supplements do or not do, and side effects. Rating other products related to health, like sunscreen, water filters, and PFAS in dental floss are good to know.

The information on this site is invaluable. I check it for information on every supplement, body care product and some food items (like olive oils) before I purchase. Save buying tainted products, products that have mis-information on their labels, toxic metals, etc. Their TOP PICKS are best info ever.

I refer to ConsumerLab for any and every question I have for nutrition, nutrition supplements, and wellness products! Authoritative, thorough, referenced, and extremely well organized information. In addition to all this valuable information, we then get a product listing tested for strength, purity, dose, cost, etc. to aid us in choosing the appropriate product (and choosing wisely). Consulting Consumerslab is my first task before I purchase any supplement, as there is no way to tell which is most potent, which are beneficial and which may be harmful without testing. It is a good resource to start one's search of specific products. However, there are MANY cleaner, less toxic products out there in at least some categories (for example smaller businesses) AND where on earth is "Guthrie's Corner"...listed on fb page as the address?. The state should at least be given for transparency purposes. EWG's app for products I have heard is $$$$ motivated. Would love to see these apps reviewed.
When reading about the various water filtering products approx. One year ago I requested that they also test the Clearly Filtered filters. They responded by reciting the Clearly Filtered manufacturer's published data rather than subjecting it to the same tests as the other products mentions. This month they, once again, tested several of the water filters on the market. In their statement they mentioned that several subscribers had requested that they test the Clearly Filtered filters. They once again responded by quoting the company's published data (that we are all capable of reading on our own). This still leaves the conclusion up to the subscribers to determine, which we can do without subscribing.
I sincerely appreciate the research, information, education and care that Consumer Lab provides its clients. I base my purchases on the reviews and ratings of Consumer Lab. There are too many products on the market that are not what they advertise, contain fillers, inferior or unsafe ingredients. Thank you for your research!

I have been a subscriber for a number of years, and I am always impressed by both the depth and breath at which ConsumerLab.com reports out its findings on various products, especailly supplements. I know of no other source for this type of information. I also appreciate the opporutnity to recommend supplements for testing, as well as the direct contact with staff as on one occasion the report on NAD and its possible cancer implications.

Given that dietary supplements are totally unregulated, having access to ConsumerLab reviews bridges that gap quite nicely while also providing additional value with deep dives into existing scientific evidence for the efficacy of each supplement reviewed.
