“They Go the Extra Mile & Keep Going”

Warren W.

I signed up with Crowdfund Buzz about two months ago and recently paid them for an additional 60 days so they can continue promoting my brand and growing my consumer base. My offerings are B2C and I am very happy with how effective they have been in identifying new audiences and driving them to my offering. My traffic is still surging and opt-ins are still sky high. I'm getting the results I want and I couldn't be more satisfied. Since day one Crowdfund Buzz delivered on everything I signed up for and topped it with unexpected added value with a kind of transparency I've never seen before. I need to follow up with my attorneys and my accountant but never need to check on my publicist Howard Sherman; he sends me updates and reports without me even asking for them. Between things if I'm ever curious about what Crowdfund Buzz is up to I can see for myself whenever I want to. Crowdfund Buzz overdelivers on services with professionalism we don't see much anymore.

Yep crowdfund buzz ripped me off too. I got suspicious after seeing the quality of their work so I did some digging online about these little crowdfund buzz bandits. By the time I discovered it was a scam they had already taken the money and ran. BUYER BEWARE! Paypal also said that i was screwed and that I should file wire fraud charges against them. I guess crowdfundbuzz thinks that most people wont put in the effort to have them arrested so they keep scamming crowdfunders for only a couple hundred at a time and then leaving them out to dry. They cost me almost 400 bucks for NOTHING!

I signed up for their Premier service at $4,000 and so far we've identified over $40,000 in investments to our equity crowdfunding campaign so far. Anybody in business will tell you that if you can 10x your money on adspend you're winning.

The press release was newspaper quality and was published on Yahoo Finance, Dow Jones Market Watch, Morningstar (the ratings firm!) and lots of others. All told we were promised 90 guaranteed publications and they overdelivered with 151!

The social media marketing is definitely a powerhouse and it's a steal compared to all the money we wasted on Facebook ads. On a per-click basis we're way ahead in reaching our target audience.

I scrolled through lots of reviews here and being in business for over 30 years I can tell you that anybody that complained "this doesn't work" or "it's a scam" is ignorant to how marketing and promotion works, plain and simple.

For example: We were published in 151 news websites all over America. The total combined readership was like 90 million people according to a media report. Who actually ended up reading our press release? Less than 10,000 people! And of them we can account for about $35,000 in investments from 223 investors. Crazy, right?

When people talk about what "works" or "doesn't work" they're telling the world they don't know know what they're talking about. They really mean the financial outcome. Anybody who has a head for business -esp. Sales & marketing - can explain this to you. Heck, kids appearing on Shark Tank can explain this to you.

If Facebook or Google could guarantee some kind of ROI or financial gain using their advertising services they would be worth TRILLIONS.

Crowdfund Buzz works. We have all the reports, we see everything they do with full transparency and it's obvious we are enjoying tremendous value; we're getting more than what we paid for.

We paid them to get the word out there and they have exceeded all of our expectations. I would post this same review even if we didn't raise a dime. The simple fact is that we paid them for a set of services and they delivered more than what we paid for.

The missing link here seems to be that ignorant people just can't understand that Crowdfund Buzz sells marketing services - not mind control. Any agency can only do their best to reach as many people as they can, they can't MAKE those people send their money your way. That's a personal consumer choice

We have about two weeks left and with the ongoing social media marketing I'm confident we'll raise even more money. We're planning a Reg A+ offer later this year and we are definitely retaining Crowdfund Buzz again.

We checked out Crowdfund Buzz and were intrigued by their Pioneer social media marketing. From everything we saw $750 was a steal for a whole month of crowdfunding promotion.

Remembering that old saying 'if it sounds too good to be true...' I did some deep research by examining their social media activity and saw pretty good engagement. Then I took them up on their challenge and looked up what Crowdfund Buzz could charge for one post. A Twitter calculator I found told me i should pay Crowdfund Buzz $110 for one tweet (ONE Tweet?!). Same drill on Instagram and the website told me $145-$175 for a single Crowdfund Buzz post was a fair price. My reaction in one word was: DAMN!

We realized paying them $750 for a whole month of posts was a no brainer.

We signed up and started following their feeds. Sure enough they started posting for us within a couple of hours just like they said they would. Right after that, the traffic started flooding in. Then came new pledges.

IMO anybody running a Kickstarter would be crazy not to sign up for their advertising.

Tip for consumers:
They offer lots of crowdfunding promotion services you can't find anywhere else but make sure you catch their social media marketing.

After reading all of the negative reviews I was skeptical but after talking to Gordon and Howard they arranged for a free trial so I could see for myself. Within 24 hours I had a lot more traffic to my Kickstarter and more backers too.

After signing up for their $1499 package I got a ton of new people to look at my project. My press release was published in newspapers all over the country!

They even got me booked on a national TV show but I couldn't arrange to fly out to the TV studio in Washington DC fast enough to fit the schedule. I missed out but it was my fault.

They got me on a couple of big radio stations and that was easy - I was a guest on the show over the telephone! One was a huge station in Los Angeles during the morning commute (HUGE!) and the other was a station in Chicago.- WGN.

It's really cool to pitch your product live in front of a live audience of hundreds of thousands of people! Everybody should try it. It was intense!

I got more media coverage than I ever thought possible and I definitely made a lot of money using their services.

Tip for consumers:
You've got to work with the team and respond super-fast. Howard told me I could get a call at any time for a media appearance and he was right. One of my radio spots happened within an hour of getting a call.

We're very satisfied with the results we got from Crowdfund Buzz. We bought
One of their highest priced packages and they fulfilled our order fast!

The day after I placed my order I received my press release which I approved
On the spot. They got that press release published the same day!

The reports they sent me were very detailed. They got my press release
Published in 310 different news and media websites and over 20,000 people
Read my press release!

Their social media promotion was on the mark. I noticed they were regularly
Changing my social media message and I saw my crowdfunding project traffic
Grow and grow.

I don't know what the other people here are complaining about. We had a

Crowdfundbuzz lured me in with smooth talking and bashing other companies. Which I believed at that point. Ok press release but nothing after that. Yes they did send me a report but all look like fake websites and nothing close to a result. I literately got nothing to show for and not a single backer thanks to Howard and his scam company. Please people, I'm sure that there will be good and honest companies, but please, please make sure to check your sources, see online and whatever you do, do not with work with the crowdfundbuzz scam!

Tip for consumers:
NEVER even consider to work with them (crowdfundbuzz). They are a ripoff, talking from first hand experience.

I should have known better after reading all the negative comments, but after a call with one of the owners (Howard Sherman), went for it. It started with a terrible press release, and ended with a distribution which resulted in... nothing. When I hired a local agency, they told me that the services they offer, can be found on Fiverr for $5 only!

I did the check, and yes... their distribution 'service' is a cheap mass inclusion solution. It's a software which posts your press release on sites that almost gain 0 traffic, and surely not a single journalist will ever look at it.

I reached my goal at the end, but only after I got rid of these scam artists. Never ever work with Crowdfundbuzz.com. They are the biggest scam out there.

Their titel should be: "Since November 2012 CrowdFundBuzz.Com Has Proven to Be One of the Fastest and Most Effective Ways LOSE all your money and not succeed in your Crowdfunding Campaign."

STAY AWAY!

If they would have any guarantee that their stuff works, the least they could do is offer money back to unhappy customers. They could still maintain a scam if there is one, because some campaigns would work with or without their intervention. But they don't.

Luckily I did not pay anything. First couple of days of our campaign were very good, because I had a few hundred pre-campaign leads and they all went in. So Mr. Howard took this as his "free trial" and proof that his magic works.

When he became too pushy asking for money, I told him I would pay 10% of all the business coming from his links. He replied, and I quote:

"In fact I think you ARE crazy because we sent you a tracking link and you saw the incredibly good results we delivered for you in just 24 hours under our free trial."

Unfortunately (for him), the "incredibly good results" were not of his doing. Else, he would have jumped at the 10% offer (this would have amounted to $300 per day).

Our campaign is still active at the time of this posting,

This reviewer is unreasonable and slamming us for refusing to make impossible guarantees.

When it comes to any sort of promotion or advertising, Facebook doesn't guarantee "their stuff works" and neither does Google.

The two largest advertising and promotion platforms in the world cannot and do not offer any guarantees. This review is unfair if only because we are getting a one star review because we also cannot offer a guarantee.

As a matter of fact, nobody can offer any guarantees for advertising or promoting anything. Clearly, this person doesn't understand how promotion works and shows his ignorance of basic business principles.

If anything, people should recognize our honesty in refusing to make promises or guarantees we know we cannot follow through on.

We did the next best thing we could for Mihai and gave him a free trial so he could see for himself what we can do and measure results himself before spending any money on our services.

His unfair negative review is the thanks we get for being nice and trying to accommodate his concerns with zero risk to him.

We're proud of the fact that we are the only company of our kind on earth to offer a free trial at all. Nobody else does.

What Mihai failed to include with his review are the screen shots we sent him showing him all of the likes, shares, retweets, etc we scored for his Kickstarter during his free trial. Then there's all of the traffic we generated for his campaign.

What Mihai also failed to mention is that his campaign activity ran out of gas right after his free trial ended. Coincidence?

Since Mihai decided to spam this unfair, inaccurate review with a link to his campaign take a very close look at it; with 8 days left and barely over 50% on the way to his goal, he is obviously bitter.

Meanwhile here is a similar Kickstarter we are promoting right now that is on track to exceed its funding goal - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nanomesher/ready-to-run-iot-weather-and-multimedia-kit-for-ra

And here is an Indiegogo campaign we are promoting daily that has already raised more than double this reviewer raised - https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/renegade-elite-the-revolutionary-mini-computer-computers-pc#/

Both of these campaigns are enjoying the services Mihai refused to pay for. Everyone is invited to cross-check and verify the fact we are actively promoting these two successful campaigns.

We can't guarantee results but we do guarantee that we will do our very best to help crowdfunding campaigns succeed.

I had a terrible experience with this company. This a cookie cutter PR "company" that has little actual public reach, commits the same PR errors that are warned about in blogs on their own website, cares nothing about their results, and takes no accountability for their performance as a PR firm; leaving any displeased customer with a repeated citing of their "No Guarantees" excuse. They actually put "No Guarantees" and "No Refunds" in their Terms of Service. It seems to me that any company that puts "No Refunds" in their Terms of Service is fairly arrogant to assume that their service is flawless and there would Never be any reason to refund a customer's money; RUN!

Here's the bottom line. Howard, the owner, assured me that crowdfundbuzz was a good match for my campaign, a proposal for a US Tour of a Performance Art show with a funding goal of $80,000. A basic PR assessment reveals that, with the most common donation amount of $25, it would take 3,200 backers to reach my funding goal. Considering an average conversion rate of 10%, it would require about 32,000 clicks to have a reasonable chance of my campaign succeeding. In the end, crowdfundbuzz generated a whopping 412 clicks; not even 2% of the clicks necessary to provide some assurance of our success. These guys can and will say whatever they think will get you to use their service, but, in the end, they are unconcerned with their performance, though happy to take your money.

Don't be fooled by the successful crowdfunding campaigns this company has "assisted". After the results I witnessed, I am fairly sure that most of these examples would have achieved their goal without the aid of crowdfundbuzz. To provide some detail, take note of the 30,000 + people they claim to reach daily through social media (facebook, twitter, etc.); however, they are likely reaching the same accounts daily, the profiles are inauthentic, and/ or the people are disinterested in their posts and tweets. The primary other "service" they provide is to send a PR release about your campaign to many online media sources; however, they send it to the Financial/ Markets section of their list of online news publications, which hardly anyone reads, and even fewer read this section looking for a crowdfunding campaign to support.

I did not expect nor insist that they make my campaign successful, but I do expect a crowdfunding PR firm to generate plenty of online traffic and clicks to my campaign page; especially if they claim to be a "good match" for my campaign. Be very cautious. These guys can and will say anything to convince you that they are a good match for your crowdfund proposal, but they will balk at any dissatisfaction with their performance and cite their "No Guarantees" motto to you endlessly. Be wary of any crowdfunding PR service; especially this one. If you want any assurance, get a minimum number of clicks or web traffic in a contract before paying for such a "service". Good Luck-

Three weeks ago I paid Crowdfundbuzz U$D 1,499 to promote my campaign in Kickstarter for our product MAGIEN that will start on September 12,2016
www.magien.it
I start to smell something wrong when Howard ask me to make the Script in Kikcstarter, and I did it. Actually he is the one to proceed of doing it that but he was not able to provide it.
He told me that tons of contacts are undergoing to our webpage and social media.
I find out that I haven't a SINGLE VISIT yet.
Yesterday I asked him in Skype what's going on and he insist that tons of traffic are undergoing to my webpage and social media.
I checked again and still NOT A SINGLE VISIT YET.
I called him again and asking to refund me the amount and close our deal.
This morning when I woke up I found an email in my mailbox from Howard saying that I have threaten him and his family, and under the regulations article bla bla bla, he keep all the money and stop promoting our campaign.
I have never offend and Thread Him, I just ask him clarifications and when he was not able to answer it I asked him to refund the money, and this Guy invented the story of the "Threads" just to ripped me off the money and run away from his responsibilities.

Here the email Howard sent me:

Diego,
We are very big honor on as well. You have not honored the terms of service you agreed to here

As outlined in section 8, paragraph 4 we are exercising our right to terminate your services immediately without the benefit of a refund.
Based on your statements of your implied physical threats against me and my family -- and your own admission that you are having me stalked by third parties and your promise to make me cry the rest of my life...

Since I have bc'ed two of my attorneys, law enforcement in Italy as well as Interpol, The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department AND the FBI... you're smart enough to know that if anything happens to me or any member of my family, law enforcement will be knocking on your door first. Then the friends you bragged about in Las Vegas and/or the people you said were watching me and following me day and night.
I did right by you every step of the way and feel some sadness that you took this dark path without rhyme or reason.
I don't acquiesce to threats and I will never back down from doing the right thing.

AND THIS IS MY REPLY:

Dear Howard.
With amazing surprise I read the answer to my email of yesterday.
After discovering that your company steals the money to those who seek with effort to promote their idea or product on kickstarter or Indiegogo, I called you yesterday in Skype asking informations about that: www.crowdfundbuzz.co
Based on contract you haven't completed the kickstarter page, Three weeks have passed since my payment and you supposed to finish it in a couple of days.
I also asked repeatedly why there was no traffic on my webpage and in my social networks. You promised me that there would be tons of traffic on my webpage and on our social networks, but nothing happened.
When I asked you politely to close the contract, and send me back the money I had given you in advance, you answered was: Its your problem not mine.
Now I have to invest again to other professionals to make sure that our campaign will be successful.
I read with incredible surprise that I threatened you during the call.
I have not threatened anyone, let alone you and your family.
You have find this excuse, as I imagine you also have done with others, to wash your hands and come out clean after you have cheated and ripped off the people
Based on a research I have done in internet I found out that more than 93% of your customers failed advertising the campaign on Kickstarter or indiegogo.
All your positive reviews in your webpage, various blogs and in your social media are fakes, no one of them is real. All these positive reviews were made from people or companies that do not exist. These posts were made by people from India, Pakistan and Bangladesh through www.fiverr.com
I wonder how a person can live at the expense of others, cheating and then destroying their dreams.
I believed in you and I gave you all the money in advance, and so far I have not received anything in return.
The script done on kickstaer was done by me and not from you or your company and in three weeks I have not even received a single visit on our webpage and social networks.
I'm an invalid man that promised on his friend on his deathbed to help her daughter Sofia to promote the product she had invented, Magien precisely.
A person in my situation certainly can not harm anybody, let alone threaten your family.
You think to be a smart person to invent this story of the Threat, but the truth always come out. Im a very reputable person, I have never cheated anyone in my life. Can you tell the same? I dont think so!
If you want to return what you have stolen from me, you know how to do it; If you are an honest man you can still promote Magien in a professional way; If you want to keep the money, and run away with this pathetical and fake excuse of the threaten you and your family you are also free to do it.
In any case, today I will post on the blog this story, your email and my reply, and for sure I will do everything in my hands to let the world knows about you and your company.
What a shame Howard!
Yours sincerely
Diego Lucatello
