Turning away a patient is never easy, especially when it is due to financial reasons. Since i started my practice, I've always been on the lookout for anything that could help me offer my dental services to a wider range of people. I was looking forward to a guaranteed customer financing software like Denefits. Since joining Denefits, initiating a new finance contract is no longer the massive headache it once was. Earlier this week, I financed a patient for $5,000, and didn't have to deal with any approvals or setbacks. I get money coming in and my patients get the services they need—sounds like a win-win to me!

I received a call about two weeks ago to set up a date for them to draft my account. On today 09/11/2020, they drafted my account without any communication at all. No phone call, text, email... nothing! This is the third time this has occurred and each time, no apology and no refund of my money. My next step will be drastic, but they will no longer have access to my account. This company is immoral in their practices and how they feel they can draft people's accounts without any remorse or common courtesy.

Since i started my practice, I've always been on the lookout for anything that could help me offer my dental services to a wider range of people. I was looking forward to a guaranteed customer financing software like Denefits. Since joining Denefits, initiating a new finance contract is no longer the massive headache it once was. Earlier this week, I financed a patient for $5,000, and didn't have to deal with any approvals or setbacks. I get money coming in and my patients get the services they need—sounds like a win-win to me!

Well, this was new! Didn't know I could finance tutoring before till I came across another student's mother at the school who told me about a tutor who financed his services & I was astonished. I didn't think that would ever be possible, but it's been the best investment I've made towards my son's future. He'll be starting at Cornell next fall!

Being a young full time student, my money is always pretty tight. As much as I believe certain things should be free, the reality is that everything has a price. I was really worried when I had a dental emergency and no dental insurance! I went into the local dental office and learned that they offered financing through Denefits. It honestly sounded a bit too good to be true at first, but I was glad I said yes. Flash forward 4 months later and my smile doesn't have a hole in it anymore! Payments were tailored to my (small) income which I can afford.

I was experiencing so much dental pain, it was becoming unbearable. But I haven't had dental insurance for years. I just wanted to get a general diagnosis so I finally went to the dentist to see what the damage was. It was overwhelming. I was getting ready to leave the office when the dentist told me that he offered Denefits. I'd never heard of that before, but even with my bad credit, I was able to be approved for a payment plan and get the treatment that I needed! I didn't think that such a thing existed, but it's really opened the door for me to get the help that I need.

As a part time stuntman, I have to go to the chiropractor more than I'd like to admit. I do a lot of martial arts for work & most of the time it's no biggie tbh. At time, there is that occasional scene that will leave you banged up though! I had one of those a couple weeks ago and oh boy, it was a mess. You know how they ask you what your pain level is on a scale of 1-10? I'd say mine was about a solid 15. I was pretty worried about what my chiro would say. I was feeling really rigid and that lack of mobility can affect my work. My chiro said I needed to see him about 3-4 times a week, but recommended I finance the cost through Denefits. I got approved without a hassle and even picked a payment plan that worked for me. I'm going to start asking for Denefits everywhere I go now, haha!

This company is attempting to steal the money from my prospective client. They refuse to give her a full refund even though I as the provider was not given any money. I informed the prospective client that I am not able to provide products and services because I have not been paid.
Over and over again, I asked Denefits to cancel the contract and give the client back her money. They keep refusing and threaten to keep more that $300 of her money.

Hi Michelle G,

Denefits as a company always around our Terms and Condition, which you agreed to when you enrolled as a business and customer agreed to when contract was created.

Concern 1: As a Provider you did not receive any money. This is true as validation of your business is still pending since you enrolled back on April 30th 2020.

We started calling you for Business Validation on the same day of enrollment and also in May 2020, and Sep 2020, but could not be reached.

Then we started the attempts again in 2021 and called in August and September and still you never came on call and did not even call back even after leaving messages for you.

Infact, within this time in September 2021 you even went through the training again and we again called you and you were nonresponsive and did not create any contract or do any business with us.

Then suddenly over a year later you had the training, you created a contract. I am not sure how much of the training you remembered, and you made no attempt to contact us to get any kind of help in creating any contract.

You created the contract on 10/18/2022 and same day you sent us an email asking how much you would get and when and if payments were guaranteed. We replied the same day informing about the payment cycle and how the payments will be paid to the business with terms and conditions. You requested on 10/24/2022 to cancel the contract and to refund the customer, we informed you about the 3 days of Rescind period which is over and is clearly stated in the TILA (Truth in Lending Act) which you are supposed to have your customer read before checking that they agree to it, which as per customer was not done. So, we informed you we can not do a complete refund. Then the next day you wanted us to process an additional Down Payment of $500 to make it $1000. We gave you a resolution to take that payment in your office and we will reduce it from the service amount on the contract. After speaking to the customer, you informed us that customer can not pay the amount and again wanted to cancel the contract. We escalated the case when we realized that you are not providing any service to the customer and customer has paid all this money for nothing, we agreed to refund $150 from the upfront payment we charge (Which is clearly and explained in detail in TILA, which clearly states that is nonrefundable after 3 business days of Rescind period). This $150 was a loss were taking on the contract as upfront payment is basically the fee required to setup the contract and allocate different resources for it.

We even spoke to the customer and customer was ready for this refund as well, but you declined, as you wanted full refund.

All this time you told us that customer would not be taking service and, in these reviews, you have mentioned that you are not able to provide service to the customer because Denefits did not send you the money. However, all this time while discussion on this contract was going on, we told you about the documents needed for us to be able to send the money to you, which you never provided.

So, the only one to blame for money not getting to you is you.

Also, this customer did suffer a loss but that is because of you not being decisive and not doing your due diligence. You have asked customer to read the Terms and Conditions and TILA and not bypass them and simply check the boxes. Our Terms and Conditions also inform about upfront payment and 3 days of Rescind period within which it is refundable.

It is because of your indecisiveness and bypassing federal guidelines to have customer go through the Terms and Conditions and TILA that this customer lost the money, and we believe that you should be responsible of compensating to the customer.

The guaranteed payments are amazing! I had a couple of overdue patients, I get it but Denefits just did my first payout for their payments and I couldn't be happier. The process was simple, the documents requested were not any different then when I submit to the insurance agency. Easy, to the point and helping me grow my business. Shout out to Denefits! Keep it up!

90 days credit expert use them to get the money and no one does not a single one thing and get your money for nothing. When you call them, there will be no answer or anything but when it times to get money they will call you ******* times... Stay away from 90 days credit expert and with these lier denefits unless you want to loose your money.Thanks

Dear Pankaj,

We have been working with you on this issue for months now.

We do work with any business to provide services. We are only responsible to process payments for the business who themselves provide services. Much like the payment processor who helps transact money when your card is swiped in a POS machine.

We in no capacity or situation are responsible for the effectiveness of the services. We only process payment as per the contract created.

We still tried and mediated between you and the business. As per the business you had agreed for the services they offer and there is an agreement between you and them. As per the agreement, you are to keep your MyScore IQ enabled for them to be able to track the changes after they have done what they were supposed to do.

We explained this to you on several occasions over the support calls between you and our support team and even though you understand that we are just processing payments, you still threaten to bad mouth us till the contract is canceled, which is not in our hands and this is a contract between you and the business involved. You not only threatened us but have also posted a review which is completely incorrect.

We have informed you that to cancel the contract you need to contact the business and discuss this. If business says that you have breached the agreement, it is not us who can fix that, it has to be done by you. We are no one to give a judgement about who is at fault here and who breached the agreement, cause that is not our job, we are liable to process payments till the time the contract is live.

So, we would recommend that you contact the concerned business as threatening us or bad mouthing us this way will not get the contract canceled.

We are a payment processing company and we offer our services to any business who is able to produce all the validating documents and is not found to be doing fraud.

If you have reason to believe that the concerned business is doing fraud, then, please send the proof of that to us at "support@denefits.com".

If you think that more should happen, please remember you as a consumer have the right to file a legal case against the business and when you do, do send us the details of the case and contact information for your attorney to "legal@denefits.com" and once it is reviewed, we might temporarily stop the payments, till the case result is out.

We request you to be considerate and understand our limitations.

This company has harassed me after I finished paying my dental office directly because this company over charged me and the people calling me over and over for money have a strong accent so they are most likely not from the U.S please be aware of these scammers and don't do business with them. I had to close out my bank info so they could not take out any more money.

Sorry to hear about the inconvenience you had to go through. We do not have enough information available here to be able to locate your account and get exact details. However, from the description you have provided, we can say that paying directly to the office is a breach of the contract as all payments for a contract created by a business for their customers need to be processed through Denefits.
Also, Denefits is just processing the payments for the contracts created by our enrolled businesses. We can not never overcharge on a contract as everything is documented on the contract including the interest that you are supposed to pay, which would always be there as you are paying for the services you took over a period of time in easy monthly installments.
Moreover, if you pay directly in the dental office, we would not know that the payments are made unless the business informs us about it.
Denefits has been in operation for over 8 years now and we do have our support and billing centers not only in the US but also outside the US as well, just like most of the other companies.
The contracts are never created unless you agree to our terms and conditions and we always explain everything in the TILA disclaimer you are supposed to check and without agreeing to it, the contract can not be created.
To sort this situation out and to validate and then take corrective actions, we would request you to contact us by sending an email to support@denefits.com and provide us with a number where we can call you. We do not say that we are mistake free, but we have always corrected our actions if we have made a mistake.

I had to hire a whole new front desk staff after the pandemic which was rough on my business. Having to retrain a whole set of people on collections, our payment processing system, and cash handling is just too much…especially when I was trying to get my practice back on track and get some money coming in. That's why I chose Denefits right away when I heard how their team handles all collections, payment processing, and even offered training for my front desk staff on how to use their system. It was beyond convenient and now I even get to finance more customers than before. I highly recommend them.

I had a customer who wasn't paying, Denefits did not pursue collections. They just told me to stop providing services. They took the initial payment for themselves and I got nothing! They do not even guarantee it like they sold me on their plan. They are no help and now my log in email is even no longer recognized!

Denefits has really changed the way we offer financing in our office. We have been them a little over a year now, and yes there have been some bumps but boy did they help us when needed. We just got our claims paid from their guarantee program (not that we had that many, but every bit helps!) and the process couldn't be easier. We had one declined, but that was our fault for not getting a copy of the patients ID - understandable! Keep up the great work Denefits! I'll continue to sing your praises and send my colleagues your way!

Denefits has really changed my perspective on financing. I no longer have to deal with collection side of my practice and my OM thanks me for this all the time! We get to really focus on our patients treatment and flexible payment options. I can't thank Denefits enough for the service they are providing to my company and our community!

Tip for consumers:
Great for any medical based company! They have their own collection team, allows us to offer easy monthly payments to our patients, and I earn an addtitional revenue!

Horrible loan process they will charge you $100's to borrow from them for a procedure you might need and are sick and helpless. Basically preying on the poor and sick, charged me over $300 to borrow from them. Dont ever use this company and its sad they will use there employees who you obviously see are not from this country and work for them to boost there reviews which is a conflict of interest, very untrustworthy tactics. Ive heard so many horror stories about this company. If your going to borrow money talk to a family member borrow from them setup a payment plan and even pay them interest but dont use this company and end up paying over 25% more of what you borrowed from them. There basically robbing people

Denefits has really helped our business grow with their payment plans software. Here in Saratoga Springs, NY, we have a smaller community but a lot of visitors so having this option was imperative for our office. You don't have to be a resident of the town to be a patient. Things happen and when you are on vacation, sometimes those extra funds just are not available. For our office, we just ensure to get proper identification and proof of income. I can honestly say, without Denefits our little office would not be able to be open 6 days a week or be closed during the towns slow season. We still get payments during our closures! Denefits is top notch for us and we are happy to spread the word!

I have spoken to someone on three different occasions about changing my due date, I was told that this would be fine, the date was never changed, they tried to take money out on the original date, two days later the full amount was in the account they took out 55.00, and said that I was over due no one notified me or anything. Going back to the date change, six weeks later I was told that it would be a fee to change my date, then I asked why is the amount hire than the contract states, I was told that there is a 3% bank fee, this was not noted on the contract, they try to over talk and bully you also... 1 Star is too many.

I was recently blindsided by the need for a dental implant but I didn't have the $4K to complete the process. Denefits saved me! The application process was super easy and I didn't have to worry about a credit check. A huge weight of worry was taken off of my shoulders! Thank you, Denefits!

We were late one day and were hit with a late $25 fee. Not a good company who works with you. I had called the day of the due date and after three days or supposed research, they came back with a decline. This company hits hard with Kate fees. Be careful.

They make up any number of excuses for not paying and not being responsible for payments that patients don't make. Costumer support is the worst and everyone is trained to lie and make excuses in such a way to avoid the responsibilities and not to pay what was promised during the contract!

I called them to cancel my contract and was told only the doctors office could do this. So I called the doctors office and was promised that they would contract them. This all happened on a Tuesday by Friday they still took the money out my account and when I called them about this was told the doctors office never contacted them. I had to wait until Monday to call the doctors office who informed me they had contracted Denefits the same day I called them. When I called Denefits they said I was lying and still refused to refund my money. After spending 4 hours on the phone back and forth between the doctors office and Denefits the doctors office finally promised to refund my money. This company is a bunch of thieves and scammers. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CRIMINALS!

In February, I was trying to make a payment on their new patient portal. I hit one "make payment" and button and the company charged my debit card for my ENTIRE balance. There was no confirmation screen, or anything, it was a one button misleading transaction. I called them immediately explained what had happen and they refused to do anything about it. They claimed it was impossible and that they were keeping the money. I begged and pleaded, offered to pay more money that what I was originally making a payment for, expressed to them what position this was putting me in and they STILL refused to do anything. It was later revealed to me by a Denefits team member, they could have helped me from the beginning if they wanted to. They just refused. I made a claim a bank with claiming the charge was unintended and that Denefits knew this and were keeping the funding anyway. I asked for screen shots of my transaction or a video. In response to this, they sent the banks screen shots they manufactured of my transaction and were not actually from my transaction. I knew right away these weren't' from transaction. Asked repeatedly if these screenshot were of my real time transaction or if they created them. They NEVER gave me a straight answer. My suspicions were later confirmed by a a more senior member of their team. They sent the bank MANUFACTURED screenshots as if they were of my own experience. Amazingly deceptive. These also showed nothing about what the actual screen looked like or the payment option buttons. I spent a month trying to work with them and get answers but they just kept refusing to answer questions and pushing me off saying"there is nothing we can do". So, with the deceptive information, the bank reversed my claim and again the money was taken unexpectedly out of my account. Right int he middle of a pandemic I remind you. After this, I told them my plan to go public with this information and my story. A nice woman then tried to actually help me get some funding back but at that point it was too. She also confirmed they COULD HAVE DONE THIS FROM THE BEGINNING... and none of this needed to happen The money had already been taken out, and they couldn't give any real time line for when I could receive any of the money. So I decided to just let them keep their precious money and I would let the public know about their deceptive practices. I have documentation to prove everything I wrote here. BEWARE BEFORE YOU DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

1 star is definitely too much for them! I have never been late. My payment was due on the 15th. I called them 2 weeks in advance to give them my HSA card to have my payment charged and told them the money wouldn't be available until the next day. The 16th. One Day later! On the 15th they attempted to charge my HSA and payment was declined. They started off that morning of the 15th with an email at 7am letting me know my payment was declined and to call immediately to make a payment. By 9am the company called and sent me a text message. Mind you the payment was not late. And I had given them advance notice the money would not be available till the 16th so this is an error on their end not mine. I responded to the text stating the money will be there the 16th (next day). Person texting was rude and said there will be a $25.00 late fee. I said 'whatever the money will still not be there till tomorrow' she/he continued to text me. I told them to stop harassing me and blocked the number. The payment went through the next day (they made sure to include the late fee). I must be their only customer if they get so stressed over a payment that wasn't even technically late. I have NEVER had a company Email, text, call all within hours ever. This company is so unethical and I will NEVER do business with them or recommend to anyone. This are discussing place and should not be in business. Most unethical company EVER! Bunch of SCAMMERS!
