I am writing this as an update to my review on 12/31/17. I was wrong about Discusguy.com. I had ordered several discus fish from different sources at the same time. After careful investigation it turns out that the fish I received from Discusguy.com are doing great! The owner Rob is great and really goes above and beyond to help with his knowledge. I will be ordering more fish from him again in the near future after I clean my tank out from the mess of the other "phishy" company that sold me sick fish. Sorry about the confusion Rob! Keep up the great work!
5 of the original 9 have survived but are stunted. After some had died we picked up a few from the local pet store (quarantined them), same size originally, now are double the size of "thediscusguys's" fish. They had some mutant strain of worms that took 2 different different doses of meds. The nubby fish's fins grew back but have a visible scar, not your average prized discus. The quazimodo eye is still squished looking. Most still have massive peppering which is not quality either. I was given a store discount for the dead fish but I will still never order from this guy again!

HI, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We take pride in our discus fish and want to make sure that our customers are happy. First off we do not have any customers who have the name you are using- therefore if you are not using your real name it must be a phony review posted by one of our competitors (yes this happens a lot!). If it were a real review you would have used your real name so we can actually address and correct your issue. Next, we quarantine and observe all fish before shipping. We will not send any fish that are not in perfect condition. However, several of our competitors buy and sell very low quality discus fish from breeders at pennies on the dollar and sell them for really cheap prices online. Just do a search for discus fish for sale and you can see which prices sound too good to be true! If you can provide your order number I will be happy to work this out for you.
