These window hooks match some that are already on our wooden cabin windows, so it was great to find them on DK Hardware. They took over 10 days to arrive. We did not get them in time, so putting them on the windows will have to wait until next year.

Horrible and will never purchase from them. They misrepresent items in stock, you purchase the item, you verify with customer service the item is in stock, you trust them and get expedited shipping, you later get a call the item has 2 to 3 week lead time. This happened to me twice with an important part I needed for a client, horrible experience. Horrible customer service. Will never use them.
I ordered some deck drain from DK Hardware and the website said each 5' section included 8 couplers and 4 end adapters. When I received the order there was only ONE (1) coupler and ZERO end adapters! I called and talked to the "Customer sales rep" and he was difficult. He grudgingly agreed to send me 4 couplers and 2 end adapters (which I told him that is all I really needed for my project) but had to get management to approve it. When I did get the shipment, there was only 2 couplers and 1 end adapter! I just got off the phone and told the same guy that they were short by 2 couplers and 1 end adapter. He would not agree to send me what was agreed on and said he would have to have his manager call me back. I am now a very angry customer and writing this review. It would have cost them very little to satisfy me and make me a happy customer, but they refused to do that. DK Hardware's customer service is HORRIBLE. I would not do business with them at all. Find another hardware store to get what ever it is you need. Amazon sells almost anything you need!

Tried to order one bag of poly foam backing from DK Hardware. The woman taking my order, texted me the invoice before I paid. The bag of foam cost $4.99 and weighs less than an ounce.
Luckily, I looked at the invoice that showed 4.99 for the polyfoam backing AND $165.00 for shipping!
Justin Bennet, customer relations, texted me in a message last week. " Can you tell me what happened" After explaining to him what happened, I never heard back from him.
I sent voicemails and texts to this guy.
Justin's position as customer relations is a scam as well.
My experience with him only shows he is interested in taking care of corporate and not the customer. You are a bad reflection of your company the way you handled this. Continue to hide

I bought I thought 6 quarts of oil, the ad shows 6X1 quarts, I received 1 quart plus shipping on E Bay, another company has the exact description 6Z1 but they send you 6 quarts not 1 for the same price. DK Hardware won't let me return the 1 quart or send me the other 5 quarts to make up 6 I bought
Made an order for one item. Got an email saying "order would arrive soon". Five days later I went on vacation for a week, came back, no order, no email update. Kind of forgot about it for another week as I got busy at work. Checked the web site, item is "On Order". Got on live chat and some bot (I assume) just instantly replied to my question about where my order was by saying "Your order appears to be scheduled to ship out at the end of this week." Sure.
Coming back to edit: After three weeks, and literally one hour after this review, I got an email that my item was shipped, and from then on, no issues. Item arrived, was good quality. The item still shows on their site as "In Stock, ships in one day." Just like it said when I ordered it almost a month ago.
Product arrived today after being ordered over a month ago. That isn't the issue. There was no automatic communication - as in item was backordered, when it was expected to be shipped etc. When I reached out for information, customer service (Sunil) was helpful. Received an email Friday that it had been shipped and it arrived Monday. Original estimated date of delivery was March 2 and today is March 20. The item does appear to be what I ordered - thankful for that.

I've ordered 2 4-ft. LED shop lights from DK Hardware. The first one failed after about 6 months, so I ordered a replacement. Now, that one has failed. No responds on their online chat service and can't get anyone at customer service to answer my calls.
Be very careful about using DHK Hardware. In spite of their very "flowery" hold message, their customer service is virtually nonexistent.

Shipped me knockoff CRL Door hinges with no protective packaging other than plastic wrap. U Channel and knockoff hinges both arrived scuffed. Unfortunately I didn't check these soon enough and waited a few weeks until install time which was outside of their return window which they're very firm on. You only have 30 days to return from the date you purchase, which is absurd because their standard rate shipping takes 2 weeks. For a replacement order I had to pay for overnight shipping and it arrived 7 days later!

I own part of this mix up, but so does DK. I was looking for a black mailbox key and found this on DKH's website: https://www.dkhardware.com/kaba-ilco-1646-xcp10-key-blank-for-usps-mailbox-pack-of-10-product-*******.html. It's a black key right!?! Brass colored keys showed up. I chatted with customer service rep who agreed it looked black. She directed me to drill down into product description and see it's brass colored. Ok, my bad. But the image was definitely black. The keys cost $9 and DKH charged me $9 to ship. In order to get a refund I have to pay to ship the keys back, let's say $3. All this trouble to ultimately take a net loss of around [
~ $12. DKH did not offer any consideration despite their own admission that the image did not reflect the actual product. Sure, it's not that much money, to me OR TO DKH, but there is principle. Do better DKH, get your website squared away, and own your part. I'm just disappointed in this experience.

I ordered door hardware that required a "special order" status that I was told would take 5-6 weeks which I agreed to. Now 7 weeks after the fact, their "Customer Happiness Specialist" whom informed me today, only after I contacted them, that the hardware will not be available until 9/13.6 months to fill an order. How about rephrasing that title to "We Really Don't Care About Customer Happiness Nor Do We Need Any More Business Specialist".
These guys advertise one item and deliver something else, then won't provide return mailing and want a 20% restocking fee. They are impossible to deal with after they make the sale, even though their advertising is fraudulent. Stay away!

I seen the shipping address was wrong, contacted your company to have it corrected said it was corrected and I would get the order in the next two days. It never came so I ordered it again. I received the second one fast. Yesterday I received the very first one I order, which I will be returning. Your company said it was about my debit card I used, which was a company card, so the second one I ordered I used my personal card for. Not good customer service.

This is my first time ordering from here. They have had payment for a month and still, no product. Fingers crossed I get it soon. I will think twice before I order from here again.
I tried to place an order online, but the order would not go through. I tried multiple browsers and multiple devices and multiple locations. I called. The rep could not understand English. She seem to have absolutely no idea what was going on. She put me on hold, never came back, and disconnected. I order from Ace hardware for half the price. Run away from these people.

I have reviewed my VISA account and found that DK Hardware has shorted me on my purchase refund.
On Oct. 13 I paid $599.98 for an order. On Oct. 19 I was refunded $567.05 for the same order. The refund is $32.93 short.
This order was completely mismanaged by DK Hardware. It was ignored for five days. When I inquired about it's status, I was told that there were inventory issues and that there would be an additional 1 to 2 weeks delay for the order. Then I was e-mailed and told that that information was erroneous. I then received another e-mail that told me that my home shipping address was not sufficient. Then I received another e-mail that said that my home shipping address was okay. Then I received another e-mail that said that there would be an additional $83.53 for shipping added to my order. To make for a total of $166.00 for shipping. I was asked if I wanted to proceed with the order. As this shipping cost is utterly ridiculous compared to simply using US Post, I replied that 'no', I did not want to proceed with the order. I asked when a full refund would be seen in my VISA account and was told 1 to 2 business days. I have now reviewed the VISA account and found that I was not refunded the full purchase cost. It is short by $32.93.
