The products ordered were shipped for free. That was a big mistake the service used by Doyourown can take a minimum of 10 business days for delivery my package sat in Georgia for 5 days and never moved when i called they said you chose free shipping sorry thats just the way it is contact us back if you dont have it in 10 business days. Really why would you offer FAST FREE SHIPPING then do that to a customer. I spent well over 100 dollars. Were very dissatisfied..

The products ordered were shipped for free. I feel this company is not what it used to be 10 years ago. Back in 2011 I received unbelievable support and again in 2017 but after only 3 years their termite solutions failed us and when we went back for help we received none. I truly feel we received a defective batch and was really surprised when the company just washed their hands of it. Just your standard runaround. I suppose like other companies they have built up a good enough customer base and dont really need to put out the extra effort. I suggest finding another company. Termite control is too important to take any chances with defective product and zero backing. Sure problems arise, nothing is perfect but you need to depend on the company to deal with them fairly when it happens. Do my own failed miserably.

Tip for consumers:
Check for any warranty. The products are supposed to last a certain amount of time. What happens if they dont?

I placed an order that totaled 212.95 only to receive an email stating that they've canceled my order. Then I receive a phone call stating that they needed to "charge more money". This seems very shady since the purchase was already charged to my credit card. The representative that called had screaming children and barking dogs in the background and was not very professional. I will take my business elsewhere.

They are selling fake name brand product. Bought tenacity from them but the manufacture had no record of selling product to domyown. The fake tenacity did kill the weeks but also killed my lawn. I was left with brown spots all over.

I ordered some fungicide and my order sat for over almost two weeks to ship. They create a shipping label but your order will not ship for weeks. Then they they try and tell you it has shipped so you think its not their fault. And to make things worse they ship the cheapest way possible. My tree died and my order has not even arrived. I paid for shipping it was not free. They sent my order the cheapest possible way, parcel pool.
When asked for a refund Eren told me I need to wait till my order arrives than pay to ship it back.
That is not customer service it's customer abuse!
I will never use them again!
If you have a pest problem you will be overrun before your order even ships!

This company will smile to your face, but when you no longer wish to butter their bread, they will leave you stranded. I spent more than I should have here, on every item that I purchased, thinking that my choices for some of these specialized products were slim. They feed on customer's like that, and will latch onto your pocketbook with a mighty grip. Sure, they will Chat with you and give you recommendations on the application of their products, but you are paying dearly for that. When I realized how much money I was throwing away, I asked them to disable my account and delete my personal information. When a representative replied to my request, he refused to honor my demands, and told me that they were "not required" to cancel my online account. Stay away and find your agriculture and pest control products elsewhere.

Tip for consumers:
They will not grant you Godspeed when you leave.

Bought an item on 3/7 that went on sale 3/8. They refused to refund difference. Returned item and bought on Amazon for 1/2 price of DoMyOwn. I have been crazy to have been buying from these guys for years.

Do not register as a pro member.
They will not ship the product on time.
When you call it, they will make a schedule for shipping. Then, they will not ship it.
Then, they request to purchase it with expedited shipping.

They state on their website: "We ship fast - most orders leave our warehouse the same or next business day. If you choose expedited shipping before 12:00 noon EST, we'll ship the same day. Our large inventory and private warehouse means we stock our own products shipped by a dedicated warehouse staff." WHAT A CROCK OF LIES!

I placed my order at 5 am Wednesday and by late Thursday afternoon had not even received an order confirmation from them. I called to check on my order, as it should be shipping out by then if I was going to receive it the next day (I had paid $9.99 extra for "2-day shipping." I was told that they didn't know when my order was going to ship because one of the items was on backorder. And as for the "2-day" shipping that they charged me extra for, it's not really two days. It's two days AFTER they have all the items in stock and are ready to ship them out, which at this point, they had no clue.

So when were they going to tell me? Had I not called, I would've been sitting there waiting, wasting precious time, expecting my items to arrive on Friday, as promised. And when I called, all I got was robots spewing their little scripts and not caring AT ALL what horrible customer service they were providing. I had to ask literally 5+ times to speak with a supervisor. And once I finally got to speak to one (Erin), she was completely useless. In fact, her response to my explanation of what happened was, "So how can I help you?" SHE HAD NO CLUE NOR ANY INTEREST IN HELPING ME! Not even a fake apology! That just infuriated me more. What a waste of time and money on these dishonest losers!

They did refund my money, but they think just because they did that, that the rest of this mess is ok. IT IS NOT! They can't sell product they don't have. And if you look at their Google Reviews (under "Lowest"), you'll see that they have a long history of doing this. They take your money, but then they disappear. Often, they end up canceling the order once the customer finally realizes what happened. But in my case, I even paid the extra $9.99 for the two-day shipping, and that's another thing they do - just take the extra shipping fee and use it on NOTHING. Basically, they rip you off!

Then I had to rush to get the items ASAP from somewhere else. Thankfully, Amazon had them all - for less, even - and for a TRUE 2-day shipping - FOR FREE (since I'm a Prime member). So I got it right away. The best part is that I didn't have to deal with RUDE, ARROGANT, DISHONEST people! These people need to be investigated because FALSE ADVERTISING IS ILLEGAL!

Tip for consumers:
Investigate this company. It's not fair to consumers that they are allowed to lead us on with lies. Plus, they have a long history of doing it already. Look at their Google Reviews - (select "Lowest") - and see all the one-star reviews that go back years with similar complaints.

Products used:
NONE - Canceled order when I found out that one of the items I ordered was on backorder, and they had no clue when it would be arriving, AND they did not even plan on letting me know. Plus, I had paid $9.99 for expedited 2-day shipping, which in their world doesn't even exist! TOTAL RIPOFF!

So domyownpestcontrol.com has a "dropshipping" program that they ask you to apply. Surprise, surprise they do not accept anyone. What they do accept are your idea about a product and key words. Never got a reply from them, but when searching for keywords and product few months after found they had new page with new keywords targeting the exact product I wanted to advertise. That is some scummy tactics towards partners and general customers. Worthy of a lawsuit, but try and prove that they get ideas from drop-shipping requests. If you want to drop ship, stay away from these cons.

I've not read or bought products from them, but they are a drop shipper themselves so look for better deals elsewhere.

We had drain fly's this past summer. I had never heard of them before, but these things really started to multiple. Ahhhhhh, it was terrible. If you have a drain in your house that is never used that is where they go to nest. Friends had lots of suggestions, including bleach, boiling hot water, and a few others. None of them worked.
I came across domyownpestcontrol quite by accident. I ordered their suggested product and it didn't do the job. I read up on the product and it did say you may have to apply several times for results. After a couple attempt's I called the web site thinking I've been had, and the lady on the other side of the phone told me I had taken care of the nest in the drain but not the existing fly's. She recommended one more product that was inexpensive to get rid of the adults and sure enough it did the job. After all that I went back on the web site and noticed a video that explained the whole thing. My bad.
Bottom line; they were helpful, polite, and it worked. Check it out.

Ordered an insecticide for Grape Leaf Skeletonizer moth infestation. My order arrived and the top had come off during shipment, spilling the entire contents. I emailed them and they had a new product to me in 4 days.

Every time I called, my purpose was to augment my own research and label-reading, with advice from an experienced expert who could tell me more than the label did, and compare to other products, and provide fine-tuned experience with exactly how well or poorly it worked on specific target arthropods.

And every time I called, the same woman answered. That was not the problem. The problem was that she did no more than read labels at you. The same labels I had read, and about which I wanted to know more, from an experienced pro.

She could not do more than that. She also used elementary, simplistic statements that an experienced pro would not. Example: when I asked about a residual versus a mix of residual and fast-acting, she said, "Sometimes when they mix several ingredients, the ingredients can cancel each other out."

This is (1) either untrue or a poor way for a manufacturer to make a combined product, and (2) such a simplistic, elementary, uninformative statement as to be useless.

As useless as reading a label at you, unless you need that sort of thing.

That is when I realized that she was a receptionist, a phone order-taker, a label-reader, and a salesperson.

Their "team of experts" does not mean a team of people with expertise in entomology or pest control. It means a "team of expert telephone order-takers". It might even be a "team" of one.

It is not quite her mother's basement. You can order products there. But you will need your professional information from elsewhere.
