My Dad owns his home and has recently retired and has taken a huge pay cut. His wife also passed away at the beginning of the Covid-19 Pandemic also cutting his funds to afford the electricity necessary to run the home. He has en incurred an extremely large light bill and im afraid that he will lose the ability to afford it. Which he pretty much already has.

I seen an ad or newsletter thing that said "Say goodbye to your electric bill if you own a home in Louisiana", and I am so fed up with my electric company everyone is. Cleco robbing us blind we will probably end up losing our house because of the electric bills we have had to pay for the last 3 years. It's gotten out of hand and I've tried everything to fight these people down to a social media begging people to share the post and even contacting the public service commission and the public utilities division in the PSC. But nobody responded.
Long with interested in switching to solar energy so it's great to have a place to go to get an education about the ins and outs and actual cost or approximate overall yearly savings estimates.

So far, so good. I would like to have solar power, but I am 88 years old I doubt I would ever reach the point of recovering the difference in time to profit very much from the expense of installing solar power. I am all for solar power but may not be good client considering my age.
Intrigued by the idea of promoting solar power. Feel the same about wind energy, and also using tidal power in the ocean if that ever becomes feasible.
