Essence of Black

I ordered a bulk order of over £300 abayas thinking it was a genuine website all the correct islamic terms used but what a disappointment. They first sent me three abayas which looked NOTHING like the abayas in pics. I returned at my own cost and then nothing absolutely nothing. I have all correspondence to share if anyone has doubts.

I ordered a plain black abaya and a pair of black gloves from this site a long time ago, but I'm still upset about it till this day! The abaya was the worst quality I've ever seen in every way. Bad fabric, bad embroidery, and poorly fitting. They also didn't send me the gloves that I ordered. When I contacted them telling them that I was disappointed with my order, and that they had forgotten my gloves, I never got any response.

I'm pretty sure it's been over 2 years now, but I still feel compelled to let people know that they should not trust this site at all! I wouldn't pay a penny for the poor quality item that I received, and yet it cost me over $50 USD!

I know I'll never get my money back, but I'd like to let every Muslimah out there know that no matter what your budget, there are plenty of reputable online shops to buy affordable Islamic clothing at, but this site is not one of them! Buyers beware!

This place is a scam run by a thief!

They copy pictures from Shukr and try and advertise it as merchandise they are selling. I ordered from them, they immediately charged my card but no items came. I waited, and waited, and weeks passed... no items. It was not until I threatened to dispute the charge on my debit card that I received a one sentence reply that the items were 'coming from Egypt' and that they would arrive soon. Well... let me say when they arrived my eyeballs almost jumped out of my face. They were the most horrible, ugly, wretched clothes I'd ever seen. Not even CLOSE to what I had thought I ordered. There was no return address, no shipping slip, and all of my e-mails asking for an address to return the clothes to went unanswered. So I disputed the charge (false advertising and not receiving all of the items) and got my money back. THEN this clown had the nerve to put me on his site as a "thief"! I say let Allah be the judge of who the thief is!

All I can say is that I and hundreds of others have been ripped off by this company also going by Rahman Enterprises. Just google their reviews and you see dozens and dozens of people not getting the items or refunds

Please do not use this site - i have ordered items over 6 months ago and they have sent me a generic tracking no which doesnt exist in the system. I have tried contacting them so many times but no response - i am so frustarted now coz i don't evne have a contact no - they are plain old theives no better description...

I love this website. Their designs keep up with fashion and Islamic guidelines. I have purchased many abayaat from them and have been please with every purchase. I have never had problem with their merchandise or customer service. HIGH RECOMMENDED!

This site is a total SCAM! Stay away from essenceofblack!

This website is scaming people, and needs to be sued, it is showing items which customers are not receiving, and they are taking money without prducing the goods... if anyone is thinking of buying from this website i warn you not to, because you too will be scamed.
