I readed some reviews and am surprised. I have ordered from them a few times now, and it has always been as it should. Things were delivered on time still frozen. When I called them they answered every time never got a voice mail (I called Mon - Fri 8-5). If they didn't have something that I ordered they would upgrade at no charge to makeup for it. I am going to continue working with them. :)

This is the second time we have attempted to order through this company. Ordered llama fillets on the 26th for second day delivery. Checked the status of order online 2 days later and nothing shows up. I forward my confirmation email to customer service asking for an update. Their response is "out of stock". What?! When were they going to tell us this? This is the second time they have done this. Please do not waste your time trying to order from them. It's nothing but aggravation and disappointment. Terrible!

I ordered Racoon from Exotic Meats for our X-mas dinner. They said they would ship it overnight. It arrived 2 days later. The racoon was thawed and smelly. Blood all over the bottom of the package. It was in a large thin container with a single icepack. I called and they said they would send me a return shipping label. They wanted the racoon back and would not trust that it was rotten. The rude man who answered the phone told me to send him pictures. I did. When he received them he sent me a series of abusive texts. No refund. Never use this company. They are hacks.

Unfortunately, I ordered before read online review. I placed the next day air delivery order with extra Shipping Cost:$65.00 on Jul 28,2022, 2:40 AM (1 day ago), I did not receive any information. I called them on 07/29/2022 at 8:17AM, there is no answer for the call. I might collect evidence and ask my credit card company to dispute this transaction.

Update: I call the company's agent at 17:56 PM, 07-29-2022. She void my order since it has not been shipped yet after 2 days with Next Day Air delivery promise.

Buyer Beware... DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE CROOKS
I ordered a 1lb of rocky mtn oysters (buffalo) ($ 14.95), was not told until after checkout that it would be $ 50.00 shipping. Immediately tried to email and call to cancel order. No response. Finally reached someone 2 days later. Was told that they don't check emails or phone messages... person in customer service was rude and tried to belittle me for ordering then trying to cancel

Subject is pretty much all of it. Emails unanswered, phone calls assuring me I'd get my delivery "next week," but never happened. They refused to refund, though. I disputed the charges through my credit card.

It seams like all the positive reviews are made by the owner since everyone of us have the same sound to our complain. My personal experience matches everyone else's giving a negative experience. He sent me 24 liters of donkey milk for medical use and it was smelling stale and tasted rancid. When I called to ask why would he do that, he responded that I should make chocolate with it. Bad milk is bad in anything you eat and I asked to return it. He said he doesn't accept returns. I told him that I don't accept bad products that make me sick. He's reply was "if you got sick then why don't I go to the hospital. This guy just doesn't get it and we all need to make a national recall for all of his products since he doesn't care if people get sick. I'm ordering for medical use and he's sending me to the emergency room.
He told me that he will not return my $600 he charged me for his rotten milk. I had to call the bank and asked to step in since this guy thinks he is in India.

Tip for consumers:
Please don’t be trapped like most of us did. He makes money out of people for products that should be recalled.

Two orders placed in April 2020. Nothing arrived. Contacted them, and they said they were out of a meat I ordered and would have more in a few weeks. Nothing came. Contacted them (phone and email) again and told them to ship a different meat if they didn't have what I ordered in stock. They said they would do so. Nothing came. Contacted them again, and the woman on the phone said management would contact me. Again told them to ship different meat they said they had in stock. Nobody called. Called again, spoke to a man I'd spoken with three times. Nice guy on the phone, but he lies. He said he had a meat in stock and would ship it that day. Nothing came. Called again. Left another message. Sent another email. Finally gave up and contested the charges on my credit card. I do not recommend this company at all. There are much better exotic meat companies available.

Use a different company.

The owner is a crook. I paid almost $70 for an overnight delivery of an order that was already $90. I never got any type of tracking number and when the order didn't show, I called the owner who said the meat was frozen at the warehouse and I'd have the order by Friday (this was on Wednesday). Friday came and went and so i called again. The owner answered and said I'd have it next week and I told him that he said I'd have it today (Friday). I asked him why would i pay $66.50 to overnight my order only to have my order a week later. He lied about getting it to me 3 days after I called the first time. He became very rude and hung up on me. I'm calling my credit card to get my money back. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY!

I orderd some bobcat sausages on Nov 25. I was that my item qould arrive the next day I acutuly payed 10 dollars extra for overnight shipping. I still have not even gotton a confirmation order saying that my item has been shipped. Let alone delvierd. I am never useing this website again it is run by thieves who will steal your money.

The owner will lie to you to take your money and then not return phone calls or emails. He charged us 12x more for a product than he normally does to ensure we would get what we needed and didn't give us what we asked for so we could not use what we ordered. Will not return phone calls or emails. Waste of time and a LOT of money.

I see the reviews, some positive - but I have to say that I just had the worst experience ever. We order routinely from places like Snake River, Dartagan, Wild Forks, Markys, Island Creek Oysters, etc. in addition to several family operations in US - all food orders of perishable items, shipped across the US in all months of the year including summer. Never had a problem w/ any of them and if we did (i. E, food at air temp, concern for status of meat), it was dealt with immediately and fairly.

Tried first-time shipping from this place (guinea pig meat) and it arrived w/ a tiny ice pack (that was melted and at air temp which in Alabama is quite warm), terrible insulation, and meat that was at air temp (not even cool to touch). Concerned and of course try contacting them, no response, resort to phone calls and finally get a man who was not pleasant at all. Accusatory of me lying about the meat, angry, raised voice, and at one point I thought he was yelling at me (!?). Needless to say, was completely disappointed about this. He demanded that I ship the meat back to him (a bit weird for a meat product, but fine, whatever), told me he would give me mailing address, and of course, nothing. I doubt that this company will follow-up or give me a refund if I ship this back (I have the meat saved and just need the address, but will probably lose additional shipping costs plus the cost of this product).

All in all, it was terrible. I will never use this market again. Not sure if there are multiple people at this company and I just got the bad egg, as I see positive reviews here, but I will be trusting the other companies that I routinely use.

Just thought I would give people a heads up. The BBB says this company filed for bankruptcy in 2019. Also their website does not offer as brick and mortar address.

Ok. Here is my honest experience. Like everyone else I was thinking I would never see this meat shipment. I had ordered elk, ostrich, pheasant, quail, and squab on 11/9. I did contact the owner Anshu every few weeks on the progress of my order. He was super nice. Come to find out that he was out of one of my items. This was holding up my order. He did offer to swap out for something else. I agreed. Next thing I know my order shipped out the next week. I just received it tonight. Everything was frozen and in great shape! My advice is if you are ordering for an event or need the meat on a certain day you might want to call and make sure he has it in stock. I think the hold ups are that he is out of stock on some items. Yes, it would be nice if he mentioned that on his website so you didn't order it. But I think he is overwhelmed with tons of orders. Again my best advice is to probably call him and see what he does have in stock before placing your order. He is very responsive every time I have called him. He also did not charge my card until it was shipped out. I would definitely order from him again!

Call the owner first to make sure he has what you want and start before placing your order.

I ordered $200 worth of exotic meat as a Christmas gift. I was not concerned with the package arriving on time, as the $60,2nd day air shipping would put my order at my father in law's doorstep in plenty of time for an elk steak Christmas meal. 6 days later and wondering why he hadn't called to thank us for the gift yet, we called him and inquired if he'd received our gift. He had not. I knew it was not a delivery issue. He is working from home and rarely leaves his home. I called Exoticmeatmarkets.com and surprisingly they answered in spite of being 6p on a Sunday. This gave me high hopes, but those were soon dashed. The rep stated in broken English (that incredibly enough sounds EXACTLY like the 5 star reviews would have if spoken out loud) that 4 out of the 5 items I ordered were out of stock. Never mind they were still available for purchase on the website. When I said it would've been great to at least receive an email telling me so, since IT IS CHRISTMAS AND OBVIOUSLY A GIFT, she said "well, you know we couldn't because of the Covid". That sent me over the edge. I own a retail business. I have not shut down for a single day. In spite of being short staffed 90% of the time, I have done what it takes to keep my business afloat and to keep my customers happy. And this two bit, sorry excuse of a service business can't even take 10 FREAKING SECONDS OUT OF THEIR DAY TO SEND A FORM LETTER STATING THEY ARE OUT OF SEVERAL ITEMS! Or how about just putting OUT OF STOCK on your freaking POS website? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH exoticmeatmarkets.com. They obviously do not care about their customers or their reputation. And based on the other reviews that were NOT written by the same half witted mongoloid that obviously wrote all of the poorly worded, glowing 5 star reviews for this outfit, I would bet this place is a scam operated out of a Bangladeshi mental rehab facility. STEER CLEAR!

I ordered $200+ worth of Salamis on Dec 1st. Now it's Dec 17th, and NOTHING! I've e-mailed and called with NO RESPONSE. Are these people Out of Business? Now I need to figure out how to CANCEL my order and look somewhere else.

What a jerk. Ordered online $300 worth of meat I got as a present from my mother. Love mom. Never ships. Call anshu, and he says he was out of town but never shipped, out of one item. I say how long were we out of town and was he wanting to tell me his? Long story short, he says he won't refund me, but hangs up on me. Really. I did nothing wrong, he has the money, and now a monh later, still never shipped, despite $60 shipping. You can order from scam artist if you want, but if an issue, like to think you want a site that cares. All positive reviews online are planted. Overpriced to begin with, but would be worth it if a real owner who wasn't out to screw customers. We will charge back sadly...

I ordered around $300 worth of meat and right after decided to check the reviews. I started freaking out thinking I was going to be scammed. I called the next day to check on my order and basically what the people giving reviews were saying happened. I called and he said he was out of kangaroo and iguana, which scared me even more. I asked for a refund and it was given immediately. He said he would have my order shipped that day and less than 2 hours later I was given a tracking number. 24 hours later I received my package, everything either partially frozen or still frozen. If you're looking at reviews and are nervous, don't be. I'm thinking that the vegans, peta are the ones trying to give this place a bad name.

Amazing place and great, great service. I was need different kind of meats for an African theme dinner and I receive not only the most exotic meats: zebra, lion, antelope, alligator but I got also few recipes and advise how to cook the meat. Everytime I place an oder, it is handled with care and passion. The man who runs the business, is a kind and generous business man with a passion for his trade.
