As far as replacing Polyvore for styling and fashion boards, this is as close as you're going to get to replicating the Polyvore experience. Site works ok, app works decently. They're a start up so it
's never going to be perfect and there's a long wishlist of features we'd all like to see.
Social aspect is not great; you have the groups but it's mostly people complaining. The social pages--facebook and insta--don't do them justice for promoting the diversity and possibility of Fashmates. They basically repost a very narrow range of the same basic looks. So, a person who hasn't used Fashmates comes along and only sees one type of image associated with the brand. I get that this is fashion and you want to convey a youthful, trendy image. It's what my old polyfam friends call "basic bit** couture".
It seems like funding is the limiting factor for Fashmates. Hope they get the money to develop their app and site into what Polyvore could have been.

It gives a very nice creative outlet to let me express my fashion sense, interior design skills, and visual aesthetic on a blank canvas in every design I create. Try it out, I recommend!

So obsessed with Fashmates. I literally can find any brand, anything I want, on this website. Also find certain items you can't find in stores anymore, small company's and one of a kind items. If you've never checked out Fashmates before, give it a try. Love this site.

Fashmates is a decent enough site to use when you're searching for look inspirations for yourself or adding a scheme to your blog. It's a decent enough website, just nothing something I find particularly intriguing most times. There are tons of nice people on there though! :)

This site is great! It's a great way to get help with putting certain outfits together! If you own a piece of clothing that you're not sure what to pair with, you can search that item and see what other people have put together!
I love to create sets to see how to match new clothing items I just got, it's great to find new inspiration.
Luv Fashmates. I get a lot of my fashion inspo from there. Plus its easy to compare prices and find the right item. Its also fun to create my own sets on there.
