Ive saddly bought for 200 USD or dogs equipment. After payment (the only smooth process workign with this web site!) I never get any news / fedback but only an email to contact (which of course never answer any inquiry). Definitly a scam and no way Ill get refund my 200 USD. AVOID!

I stumbled upon ForDogTrainers when I was looking to find a leather muzzle for my shepherd. It was the only site I had seen where you can enter custom muzzle measurements and not just try to guess based on the generic sizing chart (which has been unsuccessful for me in the past).
Once I placed my order I quickly received an email starting that items normally ship within 24 hours and that they would take 20% off if I responded to the email to let them know. Because the company is based outside of Canada, the price came out to a bit more than expected but I was prepared for that. Out of curiosity, I decided to read some reviews on the business and my heart sank. There were many 1 star reviews stating the business is a scam. I waited several days before I sent a follow up email, as I had not received an update with a tracking number and this was concerning to me after reading all of the negative reviews. I received a response within 1 day with a tracking number, my package was delivered via FedEx a day earlier than expected and the quality and fit of the muzzle is great! I am very happy with my purchase and would likely order from the company again but I cannot give a full 5 stars because I should not have had to reach out to the company to receive a tracking number.

I'm sure the quality of the muzzle is good, but the customer service is beyond deplorable. They refuse to send me the muzzle I ordered. At first I was fine to do an exchange to the right size, however, I have gotten to the point that I no longer want to give this company my money and it seems they are making the refund process extremely difficult. Do not waste your time with such terrible customer service.

I purchased a muzzle I had to measure my dog for. The straps are 4" too short and I've reached out to them twice by email... no number listed. I have not gotten a response in a week. It was a $60 muzzle and all they need to do is send me longer straps. Very disappointed since I waited a month to get it.

I came her to order a dog muzzle per a group on Facebook that gives recommendations based on measurements you provide them. For my dog, one of the only ones that would fit was a M10 from fordogtrainers.com. I ordered on February 20. Got an email reply a week later on February 26 saying that they were out of the materials needed for the muzzle and that they wire would be delivered to them in approximately 3-4 weeks. They did give me a choice on whether I wanted to cancel or wait. Unfortunately, I need this muzzle for my reactive dog, so I said I would wait. I follow up weekly through chat via their website. On March 15, I reached out and they said they would get an update and email me back. I heard back on March 16. Now they are saying the wire isn't going to be received until the end of April and then it will take a while for it to be produced and delivered. So what should have been less than a few week wait is now looking like it's going to be a several month wait. All of this without them being proactive and sending updates. Just very bad business on their part. I even checked their website recently, and it still shows this muzzle is orderable. So instead of making it out of stock or on backorder, it doesn't give any indication to potential customers that it isn't available. Had I known it was on backorder, I would have been ok with it since I would have known up front. But again, very bad business practice to not tell potential customers about this.

I was looking for a good muzzle for my Olde English Bulldogge, and came across the "all about english bulldog breed" website. The name looked sketchy to me, the website was a little strange, but I took the plunge and ordered one anyway.
I'm a pretty paranoid person when it comes to ordering things online, I usually do everything I can to make sure it's a legit business. That being said, after ordering my muzzle I got a few emails and phone calls (leaving voicemails) about a special offer to give an additional discount if I ordered something else within the same day... I found the "for dog trainers" website and saw the phone numbers were the same, it had a lot of the same elements as the "all about english bulldog" website, so I sent an email asking if they were the same, and if so I wanted to order a second muzzle for my German Shepherd.
So YES they were the same business, I ordered the second muzzle, got the discount and that was it. I got one email back saying "thanks for your order and we'll ship it out soon." That was all I heard, I was almost positive I just gave up my money to a scam site/fake business...
OVERSEAS (Israel to be exact)... I was like what the heck?! So I was confused, still suspicious of a scam... I don't really like ordering things internationally.
BUT!
2 weeks later, I received my muzzles via UPS, checked em out, they're good quality, real leather, very sturdy metal. With the exception for the felt shedding a bit, I think it's a quality muzzle. I tried them on my dogs, they are heavy and you should get your dogs used to them... but otherwise they will work. I got mine mainly for taking my bulldog to the vet, (he doesn't like the vet touching his backside).
Overall, not a SUPER pleasant experience... but the customer service was all right... and in the end I got what I ordered, at the price I agreed to pay for. I JUST wish they would let you know these are actually coming from overseas.

I emailed them over a week ago, their response was they would get back to me regarding the problem and to this date no response. Their leather and the rivet snapped.at the top of the muzzle upon pressure almost causing a potential disaster and they DO NOT CARE and evidently DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT. What a shame because this could be a potentially great company. My husband did a better job of fixing this product to hold them they did below left repaired and right their product

This is a con job company. Do not buy hear, they do not deliver your goods. I ordered a leash, they keep telling you it's on it's way still after 2 1/2 months. Telling me some bull$#*! that it's made in Ukraine and some other country across the world. They make it sound like it's made in US. I'm so pissed.
I've reported this business to my credit card company as fraud. I highly suggest you all do the same. In an age where I can order something through eBay or another international site and not take 2 weeks to "ship" an item with countless excuses about how they transfer items to a warehouse that's in a village is beyond me. Please everyone, call this into your card issuer/bank as fraud. That's what this is. A collect our money and never produce a product fraud.

I ordered a collar and leash on April 24th. When I checked my email to see what the status was a week later there was this strange email from Guy telling me that I could add more to my order at a discount by replying to the email. I replied telling him that I did not want to add more at this time and asking for a tracking number. He replied with a tracking number and for the next 3+ weeks I would check on that tracking number and it would always say the same thing - that the label had been created but the item had not yet been shipped. I tried calling but would always get some automated system that would simply say "press 3 to connect the call" and I would do that and it would hang up on me. I'd call back and each time the same type of recording but with a different number i should press, so I wasn't able to speak to anyone. I would get prompt replies to my emails, but the replies were always excuses. "It had been shipped to their distribution center", "Covid was causing shippers to have delays". I told them last week that if the tracking did not indicate that the order had been shipped by the time one month had passed since my order then I would demand a refund. Today it has been one month and 3 days so I went to the website for a chat session with customer support. Guess what they told me? First they told me it had been shipped UPS. I told them to check that tracking number, which of course showed it had not. Then they gave me the line about the distribution center again. When I said I wanted a refund today they said their "finance department" was closed for the day. This was at 1:30 in the afternoon east coast time. I demanded that they call me as it is impossible to get in touch with them. A lady who clearly speaks english as a second landuage called me and made more excuses as to why I could not get my refund today. She hung up on me and another lady called me back and assured me that the finance department would refund my money tomorrow. I'll let you know if they do - but I'm not holding my breath.
I ordered from dog trainer canada.com thinking this was Canadian 3 weeks later nothing I request a tracking number, track it and its being shipped from Israel Post what the hell. Probably going to have to pay duty on that. 4weeks later still nothing, should of read these reviews first
I was looking for very good dog nuzzles, the website looked good and legit from ForDog Trainers. There was a good guide for the measurements and I liked all the details. There was something about that you have to sent an extra email so the order would be sent in express. I ordered the nuzzles and sent to different email addresses the request for Express. After waiting for a week I contacted them, which was not easy finally Facebook messenger worked. They sent me an tracking code, I found out that the company is somewhere on the end of a donkey trail in Belarus? Strange because I paid to an Israeli Company? The confirmed to me that it is express, but later it was NOT?, anyway3 weeks later I am still wafting. Now the informed me that the possible express delivery is taking 17 days FROM THE DAY IT"S SENT! And the only sent the orde a week after I order. This is a very lousy organization, I am still awaiting my nuzzles

They ripped me off of 100$, I ordered a french bulldog muzzle and it still hasn't showed up, 53 days and counting! I asked for a refund and still haven't got it and doubt i will! They have stopped replying to emails, delete my comments of Facebook to show what a scam they are and have gone silent since asking where is my product or money! If you google dog muzzle they come up with so many random pages or your area code to try pull you in to their bull$#*!. For example if you type muzzles Australia it will come up with. Au or for nz. co.nz but it's a company in America who say they make it there and then order it from Israel and never shows up! Don't waste your money or time! It's a scam!
I would recommend FDT Company to any dog trainer. They have the best quality supplies and their customer service is outstanding. It's been a few years since I've used them but I still recommend them to friends and they always seem to be happy with the service and products!

Sent me the wrong size muzzle, so I contacted them. They asked me for details and pictures, which I sent, but have had no reply! Some emails were even rejected for some reason! Very misleading; they give you the impression that their muzzles are tailor made; however, they're just your bog standard size! I COULD HAVE PAID A LOT LESS IF I HAD JUST GONE ON AMAZON - NOT HAPPY AT ALL. I FEEL THAT I HAVE BEEN LULLED INTO A FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY! DODGY BEYOND BELIEF!

First of all, I am really sorry you had a bad experience with our company. All problems can be solved, and we would be happy if you give us a chance to deal with this situation.
I decided to leave public replies because not every person replied to my private messages I sent 2 or 3 times to all people who had negative experience with Fordogtrainers. I understand that everything should be done in time, but they say it is better late than never... I need to know order# or email address of the person who placed the order, we will track every stage of the order handling to understand what went wrong.
As regards rejected emails, we tell our customer that a file attachment should not exceed 3mb size otherwise the system of mail parsing simply rejects the email and we never see these emails.
We really handcraft muzzles for medium and large size dogs, that is why we ask precise measurements of a dog's snout, and sometimes we even ask a customer twice to remeasure when it is clear that one of the measurements is done incorrectly. Of course, we have templates for standard dog breeds but we also have a 'custom' size option. And all this process of reaching out a customer to get more details about dog breed, age, gender and photos can delay this process a little and can give an impression of time consuming process but it is done for your pet to have comfy muzzle and to prevent returns and exchanges that takes a consumer's time as well.
