As Dockextenders.com, that site is now GONE as of today. As the above posters have described their experiences, I decided to not only contact PayLeap.com who deals with this character taking my money, but I wrote an email to this Waller person about contacting the US Attorney's Office here. And Gadgetboost.com is down too! Hope he rots in jail! Guess he read my email.

On 06-18-11 I ordered an iPod "dock extender" from http://www.dockextenders.com/. I also paid for expedited, 3-5 business day shipping. My credit card was charged immediately. That same day I received a confirmation email from dockextenders.com that listed my correct shipping and billing information. That same day I also received a confirmation email from http://www.gadgetboost.com/ which apparently owns the dockextenders website.

However, on 06-24-11, which is the last day I should have received my item, I still had not received anything from either dockextenders.com or gadgetboost.com. Furthermore, upon logging into the dockextenders.com website to check on the status of my order on the last day that I am supposed to receive my item, I see that my order is still marked as "awaiting fulfillment".

I have attempted to contact this company several times throughout the week, inquiring about my order. I have emailed the merchant at *******@dockextenders.com, and have received no answer. I have called GadgetBoost.com at *******763 and DockExtenders.com at *******757. I have left messages but have never received a call back. I left messages on the online message system at the dockextenders.com website, located at
https://store-f8139.mybigcommerce.com/account.php?action=inbox
Inquiring about the status of my order, as it has never changed from "awaiting fulfillment". I have never received an answer back from these messages either.

Upon looking into this merchant's reputation, I have since found that they have received an "F" rating from the Better Business Bureau:
http://www.bbb.org/san-diego/business-reviews/electronic-equipment-and-supplies-dealers/gadgetboost-com-in-san-diego-ca-*******/

And have received numerous complaints from other consumers who have experienced similar experiences with this company:
http://www.complaintsboard.com/?search=gadgetboost&everything=Everything

It is appalling that criminals such as this merchant can blatantly steal from people online like this. This person needs to be sent to jail. The information I have for this merchant is this:

I made an order and paid for it. I discovered later, on my own with my personal efforts and with out any help or notification or communication from the seller, that the item was not even in stock to sell. I wasted few days waiting for an item that did not exist... I would have been happier with some sort of customer service communication. Shop at your own risk, and do not expect customer service of any sort.

I ordered a dock extender. My credit card was charged within 24 hours... they sent a ship notification, which for three weeks now, has shown no activity. Total Fraud. Stay away from this site.

I placed and PAID for an order a week ago. I have tried calling the only number that is listed anywhere on the site only to hear a recording saying they can't take calls now and to leave a message. I have left 4 messages and have sent 4 emails because on the order status it still says the same thing it did since the order was placed "awaiting fulfillment". What does that even mean? I still have not received a phone call, email or the dang item I have paid for. I honestly believe this website is a scam. I don't recommend using them at all.

I have ordered a dock extender and have yet to recieve it. The company charged my credit card right away however have yet to send my item! There is no way to contact the company other than the website messaging system, which they apparently do not respond to. There is a number listed, *******763, don't bother because it goes straight to some type of voicemeail which they don't check.,

This "company" is awful! I think they are a bunch of scam artists. They said they shipped my order which never came and then blamed the whole thing on the post office. After i complained to them they supposedly reshipped the order and gave me some bogus tracking number. I would never order anything from them and I plan to report them to BBB and FTC.

I have sent to emails to: *******@gadgetboost.com with no response.

Order #2760 dated 2/11/11:

First item: I received an incorrect item. I should have received the "Retrak Emerge Retractable USB 2.0 ETCABLEMICRO5", but instead I received a Retrak Car Stereo Audio Cable.

Second item: I ordered and received: Griffin iPod Touch iPhone Dock to FireWire 800 cable. When plugged into an iPod Touch, iPhone or Ipad... error message: Not authorized. It will not power any of these devices, nor will any of the devices be recognized by iTunes. An absolute waist of materials.

No response to multiple email and two requests directly at gadgetboost.com

Order #2848, dated 2/24/11:

First item: I placed an order for: 2 x DockExtender Boost iPhone iPod iPad Dock Extender.

The site kept asking for me to choose shipping option, yet there were no options to choose from. After multiple attempts clicking on "continue"... all of a sudden it inserts $36.04 with no way to change it!

Once again... I have sent an email as well as posting to their site... no response.

What a disappointment!

On May 2,2011, I ordered a Dockboost Slim Dock Extender Iphone, Ipod, Ipad Personalized. On May 4,2011, $17.90 was debited from my checking account, via Mastercard credit/debit card. I received an email verification of the order with the order #.

On May 24,2011, I received an email notification from *******@gmail.com indicating the item was returned via the post office at no fault of their company. They further indicated they were re-shipping the product and included a coupon for a complimentary set of free Superior Earphones for my IPhone.

On May 26,2011, I received an email from *******@gadgetboost.com indicating my item had been shipped, with the tracking number.

On May 31,2011, I sent an email to *******@gadgetboost.com and indicated I still had not received my order. No response to that email and still no product.

I bought a Yamaha rx-v3900 and paid 629 for it. It came I opened it and set it up to find out that it wouldnt work. The sender said that it must be UPS fault and that he would file a claim and they would take care of it. I sent the unit with ups and now the guy will not repsond to me at all. SO he has my money and the unit. Avoid this website at all cost.

I first went to this site to purchase one of their Dock Extenders, which is actually a very useful product. That first order supposedly had a delivery error, and they "re-shipped" it to me without an issue. It was only about a week later than I expected, so no big deal.

The company offered me a 30% discount for my next order as an apology, and I used it to order a Sony BDP S360 Blu-Ray player. One full MONTH later, I still haven't received the item nor had any response from the company when I used their site's messaging system, which appeared at the time to be the only way to communicate with the company. It was only after I filed a claim through Paypal that I saw any action, and boy did they act!

The status of the order was changed to "Shipped", they printed a label for the order and sent that tracking info to Paypal, and responded in their message center seven times - SEVEN TIMES. The messages are written in such a way as to appear like legitimate notifications: one states the item was shipped via UPS only a few days after I placed the order; another says that an attempt was made; another says that attempt #2 was made; then attempt #3; and finally that I should call them to resolve the issue.

A few problems with those claims, though:
1) All the messages were generated within 5 minutes of each other, starting only a couple hours after I sent the claim to Paypal. Clearly these messages have been falsified.
2) The tracking information they provided shows that the UPS label was printed today, but that UPS does not yet have the package in their possession.
3) I work from home. I'm here every day during the times UPS would have rang my doorbell. If one delivery attempt was made, much less three, I would have known about it.

Do yourself a favor, and avoid this site like a plague. No matter how this case turns out, I'm either getting my item or getting my money back, and I am never buying from them again.

Gadgetboost is a scam. I don't know how they fake it, but they do. Perhaps they only ship orders on sites that have an ability to track like amazon or such... but I ordered directly from them. They sent only a shipping code for usps, check for yourself: *********************. It lists the post office as notified of intent to deliver without ever actually ever getting the package to the post office.
Numerous emails and phone calls go answered. Searches across various engines with the gadgetboost and scam or complaint bring up lots of complaints.

If gadgetboost has a high rating anywhere it is only because they play their cards right to look good where it matters.

People like myself are only looking for a way to notify google that it is helping Gadgetboost defraud people. Heck, gadgetboost even uses a google voice number in its crimes *******763.

As another point of interest, there is also no way of telling facebook that they are housing a site of fraud. It was the fact that gadgetboost showed up in google, had a google voice number was on facebook AND norton safeweb had them listed as safe that I ordered from them. From now on, i will add "review" "scam" or "complaint" to any search before ordering from a company.

I got gadgetboost taken down by reporting him to various agencies.
Well in case anyone searching for help with their problems with gadgetboost comes here... or with Don Wallar's new criminal venture dockextenders: http://www.dockextenders.com/
Don has started a new scam under a different name advertising the same products for him NOT to deliver. I wrote a few letters to his hosting sites asking them to drop him again.
He really is a crooked and horrible person.

I started a facebook group about don's endeavors... Mainly for me to keep track of thing and for people to find.

http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/groups/**************

Monday I go to the local police to give evidence, hopefully Don will be in jail soon enough.

Oh and to use Don's own tactics of search engine manipulation:

Iphone dock extender, dock extender review, don wallar, gadgetboost, gadgetboost review, cheap iphone deals, ipad deals, iphone scams, dock extender scams, dock extender fraud, dockextenders review, dockextenders scam, *******@dockextenders, slim iphone dock extender, ipad cables

Jon Martin is also part of the Gadgetboost scam as shown on:
