Paulo (Pen Centre GameStop) and Alex (Eastgate GameStop) were collaboratively and enthusiastically able to locate my purchase by searching through their systems in order to better assist me with my exchange. I misplaced my receipt and the Item I purchased was faulty, lacking sustainability. I showed them a screenshot of my dated Interac transaction. With this information alone, they were able to do an exchange. I am overjoyed with the customer service. I became a member will continue to be a loyal and satisfied customer because of these two gentlemen.
The warranty is practically useless. Just a waste of money as you can do nothing with it. Don't expect a refund because they will refuse to give you one. You'll receive faulty products and expect to spend more money or just deal with it, regardless if you have a warranty or not. It's no wonder this place struggles to stay in business and always has empty parking lots. Honestly, you'd be better off buying from a flea market.

Waited on hold for 20 mins only to talk with a condescending jerk who audibly laughed at me on the line. He didn't take the time to explain anything to me and talked to me like I was a child. Hopefully this store will go under soon. I know I'm done buying anything from them. I don't care if it's cheaper it's not worth dealing with their $#*!ty customer service reps.
So I ordered a game from GameStop the other day and still waiting for it to be shipped and if I don't see it in the mail today or tomorrow I'm never shopping there again

Recently purchased two game cards from GameStop and they literally are fake Cards and when I called corporate they gave me the number to some company called epic that don't have any way to resolve anything. No one offered to replace the useless card and their ridiculous return policy is just as useless as its only on the receipt and it's literally too freaking late to tell somebody about a no refund policy after they've spent their money. GameStop if they're still going out of business all I can say is hurry tf up. Literally stole over $30 out of mine and my son's mouths. That $30 could've been used on two meals.

So I purchased a set of headphones for my nephew for Christmas and he ended up trying them out and not really liking them that much, so he decided to spend some money on a better pair. GameStops return policy doesn't allow for anything that's been opened to be returned. Even if everything is still there and in perfect condition, the box all instructions bags it came in and twisty ties for the wires. I've never experienced this with any other store, so I asked them if I sell them on Ebay will the one year warranty follow the product? Again to my surprise he said no it would have to be me that brings them in if anything goes wrong. I will never be shopping with GameStop ever again! I highly recommend to anyone that's in the market for any new gaming equipment to give their business to a place that ACTUALLY ALLOWS RETURNS if the item doesn't meet their expectations! BestBuy, Target, even Walmart all have far better return policies. My advice is to steer clear of GameStop and their horrible return policies!
All sales final. Saved 5 months to purchase v-bucks for my son. The cards won't link to his account, and the store will not make a exchange, much less a return. So I am out money that will still be in their pocket, but they don't care.
No warning of all sales final. Manager tells me it would be printed on receipt (you know, after the purchase). Not helpful.

And then on top of that they put a disabled man so he could be yelled at and then while we were talking to him he was like "they don't even care about us" so why work there? Bought a wired xbox controller from them on 12/22/2023 obvious Christmas gift. Item works for approximately 10 minutes at a time. Took it back to Game Stop. Very rude store personnel. Told that the wired controllers usually only work for a short time and that I should purchase a non-wired controller that is made by Microsoft. Would not refund me because I didn't have the box to it. Did I mention Christmas gift? No box. I was also told the these 4th party (PDP) items are "hit or miss" on working. When I mentioned, in front of customers, that you know king sell "hit or miss" disposable type items, that customers need to know this, he told me to leave or he was going to call the police. I called game stop customer service and they would not help. Bottom line. Don't open the packaging and don't use the product. And they obviously know that they sell defective products. Maybe a posted sign stating all Products are considered "Hit or Miss" and do not try to return a defective product, we won't honor our 4th party sales!

GameStop is only good to buy consoles and they can't even do that correctly only reason I don't give them a zero is because of the in-store personal. From now on all my consoles will be brought from Amazon or Walmart I would rather pay more and make sure I get my product.how your system not prepared for the holiday rush that's just stupid and your IT manager and the it company in charge of your servers need to be fired and replaced immediately!
They took my money on December 7 2023 today January 29 2024 my game still has not arrived. Opened 2 tickets refund was denied. Today USPS opened an investigation telling me they sent the package to a zip code that doesn't exist. Don't buy from this company, money hungry is all.
Hope this company fails. Bunch of low lifes who hate their life work here. Call the cops at the drop of a dime for no reason. Disgraceful conduct and a waist of resources.
Received order today one item was missing parts and the price dropped by $22 since I ordered and received it. Called customer support and told that it would be 3-5 business days before I hear anything back on the missing parts and that I cannot get a refund on the price as the item is clearanced out. Problem is the direct link and the product page do not mention it being on clearance at all. It is only in the search results that it lists this and then you have to hunt through their return page to find out that they will not accept returns or price matches...Terrible and will never deal with them again!

Ordered about $90 of games. Waited a week and the shipping info still said it was waiting to be given to the carrier (USPS).
Called gamestop and was told that my order had been flagged for investigation since the day after i placed the order (with no notification to me) as USPS hadn't updated the shipping status. Was told I needed to wait an additional week for the investigation to finish before they could do anything. I objected and asked to speak to a supervisor and was promptly hung up on. Called back, requested to go right to a supervisor and was told that there was no investigation on my order, and that one couldn't be opened till Friday (it's 9am on Wednesday. Order was supposed to be delivered on monday). I asked for a replacement to be sent. They refused. I asked for some kind of compensation. They refused. So I'm out $70 and gamestop is just telling me to wait because the worst thing to them isn't me not getting what I paid for in a timely manner, it's the off chance that I might get a duplicate order. Never shopping with gamestop again.
Ordered oculus. Walmart for some reason delivered it. Waiting and waiting never showed up. I have cameras and everything. Ordered as a Christmas gift for my kids. Investigation took over a month. No gift for my kids at Xmas. Game stop said it was delivered. Didn't ask for my
Footage nothing. I'm out of 500 and someone else is enjoying my gift for my kids. They did NOT care! No sorry no gift card no half off nothing. I paid full for something I never got. The driver or someone else is enjoying it. And I'm just out of luck. GameStop is the worst!
My games never came! FedEx never received them. GameStop told me to wait 8 days for a replacement. On the 8th day they tell me I have to wait for the case to be reviewed for an additional 3-5 days! This is ridiculous! Ended up placing another order because I didn't want to miss the sale prices and the "new" games were used. Not sealed and disk is scratched. NEVER AGAIN and I spend a lot of money on games for my family. I will not be renewing my pro membership next year. BUY FROM SOMEWHERE ELSE!
On November 23rd, 2023 I went to my local Gamestop to buy my son a PS5 for Christmas. With my PowerUp Rewards and black Friday deals, I was looking to spend about $800 to a $1000 for both our gaming needs. But when I arrived at 9:20 pm, the store was closed eventhough the sign posted read open til 10pm. Two clerks were inside laughing and counting money; one acted like she was going to let me in, but instead took the store hours down ( but not before I took a picture). I called customer service TWICE - nothing they could do. I submitted a complaint to BBB and the Gamestop rep apologized but last I checked, both cashiers were still employed there. Never even offered me a measly $50 store credit! I've been a PowerUp member since 2010! 14 years means nothing? I'll take my money to Walmart!
GameStop is unlike any other store when it comes to returns. The store does not allow opened items to be returned for any reason other than that it is defective. I had bought a VR and got super motion sick from it. I tried to return it the next day and they did not accept it. Therefore leaving me with a game system I could not play. They never warned us that they do not do returns on new opened devices. It does say it at the very bottom of the receipt in little letters.

I ordered a playstation at 9:33 am today, chose "same day delivery" option, paid for it, received a confirmation email stating "You will receive your order by 8 pm today".

My child is sitting at the porch of the house waiting for delivery. For hours. In a cold.
At 7:20 pm I called customer service. The guy told me that order has not shipped yet, and I have to wait 24 hours.
When I asked him why my e-mail says: You will receive your order by 8 pm today, he hung up on me. Simply hung up.

I have spent a lot of money at GameStop with 3 boys. I went online to buy 3 Oculus. I submitted my order and it was declined. However it did take the $900 out of my bank account to hold. When I called customer service crying because I have killed myself working to get this money they were so horrible to me. They told me that they can't help me that my money will go back on my card eventually. They even laughed a little while saying it like it was no big deal and oh my bad. Christmas is in 5 days. I won't have presents for them. It's not funny and it is a big deal. When I asked why take the money and hold it if the transaction was declined. They said I can only buy one system at a time online. I don't think that is true. My business will never come through here again but with it being as big of a company as it is they truly do not care about customers and they don't mind that. Why would they.
Bought a funko pop from them online that was on clearance. The item arrived severely damaged because they didn't pack it properly. I reached out to customer service and was informed that because it was a clearance item, their policy is to reject any and all refunds, returns or exchanges for the item. Even though the item could have been damaged before mailing it out, or in transit, they refuse to rectify the issue. Don't but anything from this greedy crap $#*! company. Let them die already.
I bought a pre owned disk for
My daughters Christmas gift. I bought it from game stop because I trusted them. I am very disappointed in Game Stop. They sent me a disk that did not work. When my daughter got it to college (that is where her wii is located) she could not get it to work. She brought it home today and I took it to Game Stop. They told me they could not replace because I was one day late. No where on my receipt doid it have a last day to return. The girl at store gave me a number to call. I spoke with customer services and I asked to speak with a supervisor. Daniel said that since I wS a day late they could not due anything. I find it hard to believe that Game Stop sent me a dusk that did not work and because I did not check disk in time. One day late that there was absolutely nothing they could do. So I'm out they money I paid for disk $35 plus tax and $7.99 shipping. Because I was one day late. But is ok than an employee did not check to make sure disk worked. I feel thst this is not good business and I'm very disappointed that this is how Game Stop does business. Im also sad that my daughter does not have her gift.

Do not spend high dollar at GameStop. The store managers will tell you themselves, their policies can change any time, including their return policy. Policy changes apply to past purchases. You can buy an item while the return policy is 30 days, and the next day the policy can change to 15 days and applies to your purchase without you even knowing. Just plain bad business.
I ordered 4 items from GameStop.com on 11-10-23. Shipping is $7.99 for 1-3 shipping. 1 of my four items arrived on 11-15-23. Today is 11-26-23 and 3/4 of my order still hasn't arrived. 1-3 shipping is now going on 16 days. The only updates I can get is that it still says that it is preparing to ship. And it has said this for the last 13 days. I have reached out with several emails to GameStop and all anybody could tell me is that they will try to speed up the process. This was my first time ordering from GameStop online and it will definitely be my last.
I ordered a PS5 digital refurbished online at GameStop.com. Paid for shipping etc. toToday I received my order from Fed-Ex when I picked up the box I heard what sounded like loose pieces inside. Opened it to find that whoever shipped this basically threw a ps5 console, controller and cables in an oversized brown box with no regard for packaging whatsoever. The side panel was busted off, it was dented and scratched to no end as we all know shipping company's don't handle packages like it's their own. Called GameStop customer service asked them like what is this? Make it right! This was a Christmas gift for my son. She said policy says they can't send a replacement till they receive this console and a replacement won't be here in time. Told them just refund my dang money. Received the return label with the refund only to find my shipping won't be refunded. Even after they failed to do what they were paid to do slide shipping they won't even refund that. Worst customer service and will never do business with again. Take your business elsewhere this company doesn't care or have any type of empathy or accountability for their mistakes at the cost of customers money!

I made an order from your website, using PayPal. The money was Put on hold from my bank. But I revived no order or confirmation. I start investigating. Your company never completed the transaction, telling me that PayPal denied the charge 3 times. However, the money is still with PayPal, because Game Stop DID NOT submit the charge to PayPal. I found this out on Dec 8. So this morning, Dec 11, I started calling again. I called Game Stop first, spoke to Jose S., explained the situation. Was sent an email, with an order number, to supply to Paypal, saying the payment was rejected by PayPal. With said letter, I called PayPal back, and was informed that the order number did not match their number. Not even the same format. Okay. So PayPal and I did a 3-way call back to game stop. We spoke to Vincent. Vincent then told us that there was a problem with my payment method. Really? Then why did paypal AND my credit card put a hold on the funds, and tie them up so no one could use it? Then he told us it would take 15 days to release the order on your end. So we asked to speak with a supervisor and Vincent then started stone-walling, coming back on line 3 separate times to tell us that no supervisor was available. Then he proceeded to put in the very request that he said only a supervisor could do. He then advised that it would take ANOTHER 3 - 5 business days to just receive an email with a determination of the order cancellation request.
So, you screwed up a $100 dollar order, for a e-gift card, for a game you are taking pre-orders for, that I was trying to send to my son(who lives 3000 miles away) for his birthday, which is today, Dec 11. All my kids(all adults) are frequent Game Stop consumers. They spend hundreds, and in my son's case, probably more than a $1000 a year with your company.
They boycott together. You have lost 5 individual customers because you do not want to take responsibility for your own screwups.
The sad thing is, you're a huge corporation and you don't care.
