I called an spoke to gate crafters prior to ordering a automatic lock. It was clear from speaking to sales rep it would work with ghost controls... NO IT DOES NOT. Called them I have to pay to send it back, pay 15% restock fee... I spoke with sales specialist an explained I was told it would work (I was working with same female I ordered it with) I said well this is the part where I don't use you guys any longer... he reply "Oh Well" well I paid for expedited delivery and did everything correct... OH WELL NEVER AGAIN! STAY AWAY

I purchased a dual swing 16' gate and an ES1000D opener from Gate Crafters and their shipping time was about six months. The gate seems to have been well designed but arrived damaged in shipment. Gate Crafters provided no support for getting the damage corrected. The ES1000D opener suffered a control board failure on start-up. Gate Crafters provided only minimal support in trouble shooting the problem and I was forced to purchase a replacement board after my own evaluation determined the problem. The gate damage was approximately $100 and the replacement board was approximately $200. Gate Crafters has never provided a replacement board nor has it ever compensated me for my out-of-pocket expenses. I've attached two pictures showing the bent and broken vertical slat damaged by YRF freight. The white squares you see are where the slat welds were broken. The bend in that slat is clearly visible.
Do not count on this company for any support or warranty coverage after the sale.
