Hello, My name's Gwyn Loader and I work as a reporter for a Welsh-language current affair programme called 'Y Byd ar Bedwar' which translates as 'The World on Four'. We're currently investigating the website getsporting.com who've been scamming customers wishing to buy rugby world cup tickets. I see you've posted a review of this site and wondered whether you'd be willing to share your experiences with me? If so, please get in touch by emailing *******@itv.com. I look forward to hearing from you, Gwyn.
Hello,

I look forward to hearing from you,
Gwyn.
I bought tickets from GetSporting website, now their phone's been terminated. Money was taken out of my account by Ral Event Management, who denies all knowledge.
I don't understand why the website is still up, more people can get scammed by these guys. Anybody know how to take down a website?

The whole site is a scam do not trust the terms and conditions as they have no company to back them up with.
I've been caught by these b... ards too for World Cup tickets which I bought last Nov.
Did anyone get a ticket from them ever?
Website is still up, can't understand that
Spammed out of two all black tickets, they answered my first e mail which was me asking for my tracking number then after that nothing, seeing as I paid on debit card no luck getting my money back, would luv to find these people they can keep the money but not ther teeth
An update on my previous review, this site is operated by a known con man who is responsible for the football World Cup ticket con at the last World Cup and has sold thousands of people tickets to this World Cup, if you look in the daily mirror you will see the details, this guy is scum
Do not hand over your cash. You will never see it again.
The address on Invoice issued by this website as their registered business address is false. They use a high profile London address at: Number 1, Royal Exchange, London, EC3V 3LT, United Kingdom to make it look legitimate. They don't even have a business or office registered at that address.
They are not registered for VAT in the UK. But are banking the cash to a UK bank account for their ticket sales. Could be money laundering or funding terrorism with the proceeds of their bogus ticket sales.
There is no business or company registered to this website. Only an individual using a free email address out of the USA to set up and register the domain and the website is hosted in the Netherlands and not the UK where the website says it is based.
The "guarantee" they claim in their Terms & Conditions is not worth the paper it is written on as there is no registered business or company you can go after when your tickets don't arrive.
Also -- they claim to be able to sell you large numbers of tickets for the Rugby World Cup 2015 all sitting together. The RFU says this is not possible through secondary agents (unofficial touts like: getsporting.com) as the number of tickets any one member of the public could buy are limited and you need to be registered to obtain tickets. In short -- they don't have the tickets in hand they claim to be selling.
The RFU also says that it will cancel any tickets bought from unofficial sources for more than the original face value. The website offers a large discount for cash payments directly into the bank account they provide. This is part of the scam as there is no recourse when your tickets don't arrive. Be very, very careful.
Paid for tickets none were delivered, answer to my enquiry from their email was they are issued two weeks before the game. Game is next week and still nothing, answerphone message states they have been reported to Action Fraud UK.
Why is the website still active?
I was also bought tickets for the Ireland v Italy game, I'm out €576 who go we report it too
Booked world cup tickets for husband and kids only to find when I called they were disconnected by fraud squad. Gutted.
Paid for World Cup rugby union tickets in March for Saturday 19th September game in Gloucester. No ticket and no answer to emails or phone calls
These guys are a scam. I paid thousands of dollars for my tickets. This has been disputed with my credit card company and hopefully i am covered. DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THESE PEOPLE
