I used GGServers for hosting Minecraft servers for about two years. During that time their support team has been great at helping with whatever problem I've thrown at them, though the problems haven't been astoundingly difficult for the most part I assume, at least for people who are well experienced in server managing. The servers have been quite stable also.

First off. I have never in my almost 15 years in the service industry have I seen such unprofessional responses. I understand that asking for compensation may add tension, but I was simply stating that I didn't want this to be down for too long. Not that the 10 minutes was a problem. This one interaction was enough to cancel account and be a voice against your service. Here is the conversation below. No matter how he could have taken my responses; the way he handled them were extremely poor.

0\10 Would not recommend.
Server went down for a week with little response and no time frame as to why. Decided to switch host companies. The day I wanted to cancel business with GGservers was the same day I was charged for the following months service. But was still denied a refund and was only offered a credit to use else where on the site.

Responsive support, that´s about it. Most tips you get from them is to "consider an upgrade", or they´ll just send you links to lenghty tutorials including downloading FILEZILLA for downloading/uploading your minecraft world.
I bought the cheapest server, however I went for the premium option for more RAM. The basic slot number was 24, I set it manually to 10, and there were max. 6 people at the same time. The server lagged as hell and like stated above, support told me to consider an upgrade, or download my world using filezilla.
Did not get a refund as the purchase was older than 24 hours.
Stay away from this $#*!. The support only pretends to help and just want you to either give them more money or download a f** mallware.

Tip for consumers:
Just don´t.

I used GGServers for hosting Minecraft servers for about two years. Tip for consumers:
Use their support team. If you're an expert in Minecraft servers there are better server hosting websites.

Bought a 3 month membership for half off (around $12 instead of $25 something). Didn't really use it, 3 months later I got billed again for the full $25 so I remembered that I had gotten it and filed a cancellation request. Today I noticed I was billed AGAIN for $25 so I assumed I had falsely remembered trying to cancel it, so I went to fill out a cancellation request again but it said there was already an existing cancellation request, 3 months and $25 after I had filled it out! Absolutely ridiculous; use any other server host.

Canceled through the site, and they do not send an API call to PayPal to cancel the subscription. They are covered through their Terms of Service legally, but they will knowingly collect your money forever and do nothing about it until you catch them. They billed me for almost 3 years after the last invoice was issued and the service was canceled on their site. I reached out to them directly and they acted like their hands were tied as if they had no agency in making things right.

If you are wondering why I canceled, the service was spotty, and couldn't reliably connect to my server, so I attempted to reach out and the customer service at that time was fairly rude and unhelpful. The recent customer support reps were not rude, but ultimately management couldn't be bothered to make things right.

I wish I could give this half a star. I am the type of person that gives the benefit of the doubt and tries to find the best in anything.

The good: Their servers run okay.

The bad: Communication is horrendous. They will give you generic canned responses to find anyway to not give you any service to show that they care for their customer. Refunding is near impossible unless you give a measly 24 hours. If you order something quarterly/yearly and only use the service once and decide to cancel it, this will not refund you. This is not clear on the cancellation page. Also, make sure to read through all of their policies.

They overcharged me for a service which was already cancelled at the time and after that refused to pay me back the amount which was unrightfully charged. This is the first time I've seen a company blatantly refusing to refund a mistaken payment.

Since this is definitely not the first time this happens to them, I recommend checking if an incoming payment is actually due before taking the money and running with it.

Besides that the quality of the servers are very mediocre, they lure you in with decent RAM but the service always bottlenecks at the CPU.

Overall I am very dissatisfied with GGServers' customer servers and I think the servers are below average.

I wanted an Australian FTB Revelation server.
Went with the recommended 4GB that live support suggested.

Up and running with a nice smooth server with an average 48ms ping from New Zealand, No issues so far.

Second time administrating a GGserver, first time owning a GGserver, so far so good.

First of all I was on the text chat. It had me on hold for at least 20 minutes. When someone finally got on with me I asked a simple question.

"I am trying to make a server that is a lot like hermit craft. I want to have the data packs they use like one player sleep, player heads, and armor stands. I also want to have 10- 15 players on at one time. Which plan should I get?" And the person couldn't give me an answer. I asked them how many gigs I should need to run a server with 10-15 people that runs some mods and once again they couldn't answer my question. I told the person that this was sad and I had just asked three other sites this same question and they all came back with a 1.5 or 2 GB recommendation.

Now the reason I asked this was mostly to test the customer service. I already know that 2 GB is what I need, but I want to see how fast the customer service is and if they try to screw me over. GGServers couldn't even answer my question at all! Then the person on the other end texts back.

"These things are easy identifiable by googling around for them. If I were to want to run a modpack, I would do the research myself to see what I'd need and then maybe ask the provider if they can provide what I am looking for. We don't have to know every modpack's requirements for you, or required to google things for you. Sorry if this comes across as harsh, but we've got a lot of clients coming in with concerns and there's only so much amount of reasonable time we can spend on answering questions."

What the heck!? This is what customer support is for! It is for me to come on and give you requirements that I want for my server, and they are suppose to be able to give me a recommendation. How is anyone suppose to want to let them host a server if they can't even recommend a plan for me or know how many gigs it will take to run a server!? Besides, I had just been to three other hosting sites that were able to answer this with no problems at all! (Those sites were MCProHosting, Apex Hosting, and CubedHost by the way) So, what's GGServers excuse? They are just lazy from the sounds of it to me.

Don't go through GGHosting if you want good customer support. They are obviously too busy to even give a recommendation, let alone something actually important.

Their site and their emails are designed in such a way that the customer is never properly informed of their policies and processes, resulting in the "unfortunate" circumstances of you the customer, failing to do your part to not get scammed out of more money which they will not refund you. These people obviously can't provide quality service and supplement their income with stolen money from unsuspecting users.

I'm disputing my charge with Paypal, and I am reaching out to every outlet I can to make sure everyone knows not to use this service

The customer assitance by GG is by far the best! Their employees are so educated about the necessary stuff and they never stall. They always provide the right information while being extremely polite. Great job!

Dont buy a server here! They are $#*! charge and continue charging even after a request to cancel. This is complete bogos company of scum!

The servers are down more than they are up and when you submit a ticket is takes at least 24 hours for a cookie cutter answer that they are aware of the issue and working to fix it and if you read the ToS you will see they do not issue refunds or held responsible for their crappy servers. So basically if you like giving away money for nothing in return they are great.

I chose this host because of their cheap pricing - this was a mistake. Their customer support is atrocious - it took me more than 3 days to get responses to my tickets (a few times even weeks). I decided to leave these guys, so I cancelled my service. However, they continued to charge me. I contacted them regarding this, and was told that I didn't cancel my order (which wasn't true). Upon hearing this, I told them that I no longer wanted to have anything to do with them or their services, and that I'd like to get a full refund. They didn't respond, and continued to charge me for subsequent months.

TL; DR - don't be drawn in by their cheap prices. They have horrible customer service, unreliable uptimes and no regard for customers.

Servers are down constantly, no real reply other than "we know there is a problem."

Most pathetic of all is they seem to be sending out plenty of obvious bot reviews that sound like the most pathetic buzzword laden garbage I've ever read.

Stay FAR away.

I would really like a reply from the company owner.
Since I paid the service, there has been LOTS of offline days in which I can't do anything to return back online.
They deleted my negative feedback on Facebook, so they KNOW I've issues They simply don't care about customers. The slowness and unresponsivity of your support service is really unconceivable!

- I lost the server content with no chance of recover it at all, it seems. DAYS OF JOB SIMPLY TROWN IN THE TOILET.
- I was asleep when they sent me the server moving warning email: They asked me to "do a server backup or everything will be lost".
Passed only few hours, I noticed the mail... tried to make a backup and... SURPRISE! The server is not reachable in ANY WAY. GGSERVERS CEO, you are administering a company or a JOKE? Please, go home and shut down this site if you are NOT capable of mantaining it! And I KNOW what I say, because I AM a SERVER ADMIN, thank goodness i host online services not on your servers.
- All my (PAID) services are offline and they are doing NOTHING, or at least you DONT KEEP ME UPDATED OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING TO FIX MY PROBLEM
- I'M NOW OFFLINE FROM DAYS AGO! Not hours, DAYS! I HAVE A JOB TO DO, THEY ARE KEEPING ME OFFLINE AND I'M OBLIGED TO RELY ON OTHER HOSTER BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT RELIABLE AT ALL!

In my years of hosting I have experienced all types of Server Hosts. From great providers to low-grade unprofessional services. Never once have I seen a company so corrupt and bad. They're entire "support team" barring one person consist of all computers and automated messages. I noticed this when I would receive identical responses for different issues. They try to trick you with the fine print in their terms of service and straight up scammed me. They put my server on a faulty panel which caused my server to crash after a week. They updated me to a better one for me to rebuild my playerbase re back up and upload everything only for the same thing to happen just a week later. Then when i asked for a refund and asked for explanations I got automated responses and just copies of the terms of service sent to me. They acted as if they were above US law saying themselves that they dont have to confide to the laws of US money back gurantee since they're not based in the US. They're terms of service payment refunds can be given in 24 hours and you may request one. Then when I did exactly that they claimed that it could only be made on the first payment. Complete scammers and rip-off artists I dont know how in gods name theyre still running do not trust them unless you want to just give money away to frauds.

Easily one of my favorite servers its fast and can hold alot of players without lag notice.
Admins are quite active and friendly as well.
