I just felt it necessary to comment on the exceptional customer service call. I'm from Northern Ontario, so this is a completely unbiased review. I spoke with a customer rep today (Pepper from Atlanta Georgia) and she plain-out made my morning mood. Kind, patient, knowledgeable and approachable. Very rare to have this type of experience with any customer service department. So, so grateful I got to deal with Pepper!

Chatted with multiple individuals regarding unlisted dimensions on a listed item. "Tech Ticket" was created and "escalated." Two weeks after escalation there has been no follow up. I reached out to support again and was told they were waiting to hear back. I don't understand this way of doing business. Somewhere in their system there is a manufacturing drawing for the item. Somewhere there is a warehouse where the items are stored. An email or a phone call to someone inside the organization that has access to the information or the warehouse (and a tape measure) would give the information required. This isn't rocket science.
If you have another option I suggest you go that route.
Our company purchase some shelves, it was delivery and it had concealed damage.
The company will not refund or send a replacement for the shelves. You have to advise them within 5 days
Of the damage or they do nothing. I submitted my claim and it took them 3 weeks to tell me there is nothing they can do, that I would have to reorder a new fixture. How does that solve anything. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL. Don't buy from this company unless you want to throw your money away and your taking a risk.

Recently purchased the wall mounted water bottle refilling station (model # *******). The idea is great however the design is poor as it does not allow space for the p trap. Additional work was required to install this machine.

I ordered a few extra heavy duty shelving units and over 24 additional shelf beams to add more shelves. Every package that arrived was heavily damaged. The packaging was weak and items were loose inside. A few pieces of tape and wads of packing paper in one box was all that secured about 25 pounds of metal beams. This lead to bent vertical supports and damage to 25% of the shelf beams. I contacted Global Industrial twice via email, called and left messages, and found their on-line chat to be non functional. I'm very disappointed with this company.

Big risk dealing with this company. The website and phone system are full of fake concern and guarantees. There was no on-line, phone, or email support. The packaging was unbelievably bad for a company that supposedly is in the business of industrial supply.

We bought 2 tables. Not very complicated, right? It's bene three weeks since we got them, the pallets were put together in the most hideous fashion, resulting in multiple damaged pieces. We also didn't receive part of the order, and received the wrong parts as well. 2 tables... so far 5 errors, and 3 weeks with 'customer service'... AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Do NOT buy from here.

These guys are absolutely crazy. They put a completely wrong address on my shipping label and I had to track this package down for 3 weeks. I was finally able to update the address WITHOUT their help even though I have contacted them many times to fix this issue.

Our business purchased an XL shelving unit from this "company"... you know how a metal shelf works? It has four poles- one in each corner. They sent only two and said that was "all it came with". When even the photo says differently, as does the 3 other identical shelves we've purchased from them. Customer service even had the audacity to HANG UP on us because we asked to return this useless item.

Beware, account Reps have no control or responsibility for prices quoted. I was told by their Rep a product would run $375 ea. Via email. When I received t he "official" quote tg we price jumped to $745. The "Customer Service" manager first said I lied then when I sent her the email she stated it wasn't a quote. Very arrogant and dismissive.

Horrific customer experience. It was so horrible and I am still so angry that I do not even have the words to describe it at this moment. This company is absolute trash. NEVER do business with them! I wish someone would have warned me.
Pros: it's nice to have an alternative to Uline, the prices are competitive and I really like that they have free ground shipping and I don't have to pay for the next day delivery like Uline. I'm usually able to find a promo code too before I check out.
Cons: Slow shipping and processing. Item was marked as "in stock" on the website, but delayed being shipped due to lack of inventory. Customer Service was okay, I was always able to connect with a human when asking for help or order status, but unfortunately I had to be transferred a few times before finding out the reason my package was two weeks late was because of falsely listed inventory. I'm a patient person, but I did end up ordering the same item on Uline because it was the holiday season and I absolutely needed to ship things my customers purchased. Uline's boxes arrived the next day, Global finally delivered a week later.
Overall:
I prefer the product I received from Global over Unline because of the prices, but I would not trust them to deliver on time if my reason for needing the item was time sensitive. I just made my second purchase from Global, but I plan on ‘forgetting' about it until it appears on my doorstep in 1-2 months.
I was concerned with all of the negative reviews, but just ordered a case of Akro-Mils storage bins with no issues. Fast, efficient and good communications. The price was significantly less than the competition but do be sure to figure in the shipping which can be quite high.

Made an order DEC 21 today is Feb 4 and the order has not arrived. They charged my card and 2 hours on hold and 40 minutes on their websites chat and all I get is "Please allow me a moment to check this information for you. I am currently working on multiple requests. Some of my responses may take longer than usual and no one is willing to help". HORRIBLE COMPANY STAY AWAY
We bought a cart and they never told us it would take almost a month to arrive. Then it came with the cable routing hole in the cart top in the wrong place. The hole goes directly into the frame? The hole is useless. After losing tons of time trying to report the issue, they finally replaced it with a top that has the exact same problem. When I went to report the second top had the same issue, they tried to get me to send photos and go through the whole process again. So lame, never again will we deal with this company. They really lost a good customer.

Nous avons choisi Global industrial car sur le site les commentaires étaient bons. Nous avons achetés 6 distributeurs de savon à main et 4 distributeurs de papier hygiénique il y a moins de 8 mois. Après quelques semaines d'utilisation on remarque qu'un des savonniers commence à rouiller. Je communique avec le service à la clientèle et en plus de ne rien pouvoir faire pour nous ils sont rude à la limite condescendant. Après tout, il n'est pas normal de vouloir un distributeur de savon en stainless qui ne rouille pas! Dernièrement on remarque qu'un autre distributeur est craqué et coule et qu'un autre, le bouton poussoir est "dévisser" du socle et nous devons appuyer avec force pour avoir du savon.
Un mauvais produit peut arriver mais aussi mauvais service, jamais.

I purchased five frosted glass white boards and three of them came defective and another was a slightly different color than the others. Customer service was a nightmare—each response was generic and from one of eight different representatives and every representative said they couldn't refund because the courier couldn't be charged for damage after five days (even though products were clearly defective from the factory and the courier shouldn't be charged).
Order from somewhere more expensive; it's not worth any discount. I wasted a ton of time trying to resolve this with their customer service. In the end they sent two replacement boards but it took me months and MANY emails.
I tried leaving a review on their website that included pictures, but the site didn't allow me to submit it on the two web browsers I tried. Seems like a shady company.
I'll keep it short (even though this went on for months). Shelves are not packaged properly to avoid damage. Shipped - damaged. Shipped again - damaged again. Every customer rep you get will have a different story. No continuity. No resolution. Said they'd refund $90. (order was $700.) But they did not even do that. They will not be able to send product without high shipping costs and will be damaged because they are under packaged... single layer thin cardboard on 70lbs of shelf parts. Parts fell out onto the street when UPS delivered. FINALLY (and this is stunning), their final move was to block my incoming emails to customer service! This is how they "resolved" the situation! I've never encountered such a mishandling of every aspect in a business before. They know now I'd have to sue them, and they are taking that gamble knowingly... amazing!
This drafting chair is awesome. Delivered within 2 days and easy to assemble. The adjustable arm rests are great! Best chair I have purchased to date. Only took wasting my money on an expensive ergonomic one that did nothing for my back.

This is the worst business I have ever encountered. I ordered two 3-tiered shelving units for almost $200 including an absurd $53 shipping for UPS ground and I ended up getting two shelves that attach to nothing. The picture mislead me to believe it was a 3-tiered shelving unit taller than a man and it was two small shelves with nothing to support them. Absolutely useless. When I tried to return it they wanted to charge me another $53 to ship it back. So in total a $106 waste of money for literally nothing at all.
My experience is that GI a scam. They've taken my money twice and never delivered anything. I get no response from their customer service dept. by email and they hang up on me before anyone talks to me. The uploaded receipt shows delivery by 9/15/21 but it was also promised by 8/25,9/4,10/1,10/7. It's not coming and I get no response by email, phone or chat to credit me.

Return 4 items on my dime of their way over priced selection. It's ok, I order the wrong item. Some how all 4 boxes where damaged but the company refuses to provide any pictures to prove it and has been quite rude about it. The pictures they did provide are of one box and blurry. Told me to make a claim with UPS, the carrier. UPS won't accept the claim unless they have proof it was damaged. Rude customer service people at industrial said that they likely threw the boxes away and can not provide photos. Company kept the product and won't return the money. At this rate, I wouldn't put it past them to just put the products back into stock and resell them. I am out over a thousand dollars of my hard earned money. Avoid this company at all costs.

Ordered from them on 6/30/22, received estimated delivery for 7/12/22. On 7/13/22 looked for my order. Suddenly it says" Awaiting Shipment" So I have messaged them since chat no longer will load as a option, 2 days later they say " We will message manufacturer" REALLY?
So their tracking still says "awaiting shipment, estimated arrival 7/26/22 so we shall see...

Purchased two lockers. Assembled first one no problems. Second one, got all the way to the very last step and the holes did not align for the legs to make the locker stand evenly. Asked for new legs from Customer service to be sent. Was offered $60 to keep the completely unusable product. Asked again for just new legs. Was told no, they would not do that. They continue to assert that I'm just putting it together wrong. There's literally predrilled holes, there is no way to put it together wrong. I have a worthless $300 locker that stands leaning that I can't use. Piece of crap.
