Just had a some grandad pizzas. Very tasty. I did have an issue with how their cash register adds. A single topping large pizza cost $15.95 and additional toppings are $2.25. But if you order a two topping pizza the register charges $20.45 and not $18.20. In other words they charge $4.50 for the second topping. I'm sure the programmer just thought 2 toppings times $2.25 but the first single topping shouldn't be counted. I tried to explain to the young man at the register but all he knows is what the register says. I assume everyone ordering more than one topping is getting over charged by $2.25 for a large pizza. Otherwise i love grandads pizza but not crazy about their math skills... john
What a terrible manager! How do I know he was the manager? Because he proudly claimed to be the manager as he was telling me that he didn't "need" my business and how dare I call just because they had my order wrong... gesh... wasn't there any training that is involved when taking over this management position? Can just any hot headed, illiterate, foul-mouthed trailer jockey become a manager for granddads pizza?

Order from the Morse Rd location. Had an arrangement with a manager since I order so much and so often. Was realizing the price was increasing with each order. When I questioned this I was told that this was the best that could be done and to "deal with it". No explanation, no trying to appease the customer, no appreciation for my continued patronage... just deal with it! Oh, and by the way... couldn't bring me plates because they had "run out and the order isn't due until tomorrow" meanwhile, I am feeding 13 people on napkins. Doesn't that at least deserve a discount? In case you were wondering, the answer is a big fat... NO. I called back a little later after I had cooled down to talk to the owner. The mis-management of the plate ordering IN A FOOD ESTABLISHMENTand the fact that another location warned me that this particular owner of this family owned business was less than respectful (don't worry folks, I cleaned it up because what was actually said about him was rated far worse than the PG13 I just gave him) should have been my clue as to how this conversation would go but I was optimistic. I started out just letting him know of my experience and it ended with him hanging up the phone on me. Some of you might be thinking that I raised my voice or cursed or made wild accusations but I can honestly say that the only thing I was able to get out was that I enjoyed ordering from them, have been for a while, was promised a deal but the price continues to escalate and could I just get an explanation why. He proceeded to tell me in an obvious tone of disgust for having bothered him with something so trivial to begin with, that he had no explanation other than a recent price increase that no one told me about since I had an arrangement for a semi-standing order and if I didn't like it, I could take my business elsewhere and then hung up the phone. Guess what Grandad's pizza... I WILL!
