This is a great place to work I worked there and I had to leave because medical reasons but this is a great place to work kind caring people just do your job and that's all they want pay is great
They make a big deal about the cuprous heat exchanger? But that is a planned obsolescence flaw. The dirty little secret about Hayward pool heaters is that if you do not keep the PH consistently in the normal range, the heat exchanger will not last. A new heat exchanger for a HD 400 is $1000. Depending on how well you keep the PH 3 -12 years. I was told by a service person typically 7 years. I say to Hayward, shame on you for not making the heat exchanger more resilient and charging $1000 for the replacement part.

On May 26,2023 I had a new 3620 DE filter installed. On July 10th it started putting DE back into the pool. I've contacted Hayward, their warranty agent Matley Pools, in the swim and Amazon and none of them will replace or repair the fins that split on the seam where the material was sawed together.
I've had the pool for 38 years and NEVER had any issue.
Extremely frustrating
8/20 update
They must have reconsidered my issue and I have now received a replacement for my inner fins. Thank you.

Tip for consumers:
They corrected the problem on 8/20
Products used:
It fixed yet and for over a $1500 investment I’m extremely disgusted.
