“STAY AWAY UNLESS YOU HAVE TIME TO WASTE”

Do not buy this product from Lowes - or maybe anywhere else - if all reviews are to be believed. I got this freezer from lowes and broght it home. HUGE dent in the bottom that was sure to interfere with performance plus other small dings on top. Box and packing were in EXCELLENT shape so this was PACKED and shipped like this. Took it back - got another one. Unboxed at Lowes and inspected every single surface. No damage. Got it home and opened it up - the seal is damaged - no way would this keep food consistently frozen. I am replacing a freezer with a bad seal. Lowes is supposed to bring ANOTHER one in two days - I am not very hopeful for a positive outcome.

I bought my Hisense freezer in December of 2020. I picked it up on December 4,2020. Stupid me, I thought that it would last more than a year and half. So, I didn't buy the protection plan. After all, it didn't cost much but you do get what you pay for. Last Friday, on August 5,2022, it stopped working completely. So, I called Hisense. I know how to repair appliances. Well, they considered it old and couldn't find the parts list. Old at a year and a half? They still sell this at Lowe's. So, I couldn't repair it. They were supposedly looking for the parts list but I checked back today, one week later, and they had closed my ticket. Wow! They really don't care do they?

Then, it is not tight at all. It leaked all over my floor everyday for a week. And I kept putting lots of ice in it but it would melt in a day. No insulation. Why would you want insulation in a freezer?

So, I advise you not to buy a Hisense freezer. Instead, find a nice Frigidaire. That's what I am replacing mine with. They state that if their freezers fail, the food will stay frozen for 48 hours. What a concept, huh? An actual airtight freezer. I will bet that they even have insulation inside of them. And it didn't even cost me much more. Live and learn. Go Frigidaire. Stay away from Hisense.

Tip for consumers:
The horrible Hisense freezers are still sold at Lowe's. Don't make the mistake of buying one.

Products used:
I bought a Frigidaire EFRF696-AMZ Upright Freezer 6.5 cu ft Stainless Platinum Design Series at Amazon for $389.99. It is airtight and stylish.

I purchased a Hisense 65" TV, primarily because the company was offering a "$100 Rebate after 100 days promotion". I followed the terms of the promotion to the letter, including registering my TV immediately, and waiting the 100 days to claim my rebate. When time came to claim the rebate, I logged into the Hisense website, as instructed, only to find NO way to actually CLAIM my rebate. I sent emails to Hisense, only to get no reply. After MANY days of checking and searching for the way to claim my rebate, I FINALLY received an email from Hisense Support, only to be told that I had waited too long to claim by rebate, and I would not be receiving it. Had I known this, I would have definitely picked a different model. While the TV I purchased is 'OK', there are much better models available, and had I known how Hisense treats its customers, I would have definitely picked another brand.

Tip for consumers:
Avoid this company!

As we move to the age of SMART technology regarding TV, let me give you my thoughts on the subject. I still have cable TV, old VCR and old Soundbar. With the new TV, I had to create antenna app in order to watch movies, DVD on the old VCR, took me awhile to figure it out. Also had to refigure connections to new TV as old VCR/DVD does not have HDMI. Sound Bar is another complete story, the Digital Optical Cable doesn't work, so again I discoverdd I needed a converter for Smart to Analog in order for the sound bar to work. Just ordered the converter and will hook up once it arrives. What happened to the easy way of connecting things. Not everything has HDMI connections. With new technology comes additional expense to connect everything. To make matter worse, because of Cable TV, not all channels have HD, so if you are watching TV, on a 60 inch TV your screen size is only 50" inchs. If you try to adjust the settings, then when you switch to channel that takes us the full screen, you loose the information telling you about the problem,, even the Channel Guide is too large to be useful. So back to AUTO settings, and had I known all of this I would have thought twice about new TV.
