I ordered some screws for a project, I paid for the faster shipping and I ended up spending a good amount because I needed to complete a project. A week has gone by now and my order is still processing…. Like how hard is it to process a bag of screws. They ended up taking so long that I ended up going somewhere else to get the screws I needed. There processing is garbage and for that 0/10 don't order from the site would not recommend
Hobby King recommended the Trunigy Aquastar marine 200A motor and 200A ESC
It has never worked. Contacted HK tec support. They said they didn't know what to do to fix the problem other than but the program box. That box was sold out. Approx 16 months later they indicated it was discontinued. Now I can not get my ESC or motor to work. Can't get it replaced as it has been over a yr.
Found a video on YouTube from over 9 yrs ago. They had exact same problem I have. Others that sent comments to the video poster had same problem. You would think after 9 yrs HK would know how to correct the problem or stop promoting an unreliable product.

HobbyKing is the absolute worst to deal with. I would rather take a double XL kick to the groin then deal with them again. After taking nearly a month to process a refund somehow they still screwed me out of little over $20. It's not hard to see why their customer rating is so low.

Bought a Wing for a Hawker Hurricane, came in a package too small, was severely dented, i was said to post it pack on my own expenses to get a refund. I would accept that if i demaged the item myself, but asking me to pay for their faults is a very bad experience. Iem was clearly NOT new, bag was teared open and cut, the cut was covered by tape.
Keep away from this store, the prices mean nothing if you get broken products an only loose money in the process (pay shipping x2 for nothing but frustrating experience) i would recommend spending a bit more on a shop with local service and have a great time with your purchase

I have spent 30 days as of today trying to get this company to issue a refund on a faulty item I am not going to go into anymore detail because I'm frankly sick and tired of even talking about this but I want people to be aware do not buy things from this company they are thieves. I got a defective item, no return shipping label for return and made mistake of not getting a tracking number for my paid return. They claim it was never received. So they now have my money for the purchase, the item I purchased and the additional money I had to pay to shop their defective item back to them. And after a month of trying to get the right department I received absolutely the worst, most lazy customer service with no compensation for anything. I have already came to realize I just threw away about $50, but more importantly all the time I wasted sending the copies of my package and the endless runaround that took over a month of time only to hear they cannot find my item. I honestly have never been so disgusted with the business in my life.

The worst company iv ever had to deal with. Total waste of time. All there reasons are so weak. And still ant got my goods after 65 days ish have gone buy.

Brought a Ender 3 for £128 for a birthday gift on 4th April, it had a faulty fan. Eventually was told by hobbyking to send the whole printer back and my expense and they would reimbursement it, well they have now reimbursed everything but to store credit, now being passed from pillar to post trying to get my money back in my bank so I can order the printer from someone who has it in stock. Was going to buy an RC car and new drone parts but never order from hear again now

It was a site where I have been shopping for many years. My order, which said that it was sent in 2019, has not arrived yet. They certainly do not produce solutions.
HK is not like before. I think i'm scammed. Maybe it was never sent. I will never shop here again. You can shop safely from places like aliexpress, banggood, etc.

WARNING - I just ordered a Turnigy 20 6 cell 22.2V battery for £192.48. When I received the confirmation the shipping costs were quoted at £324.47. Since I had 2 Turnigy 4 cell LiPo batteries delivered a couple of weeks ago at a shipping cost of £70 I think misread the shipping cost as £32. I immediately contacted HobbyKing to cancel the order but they said it had already been collected so couldn't be cancelled. FedEx denied having collected it but said only HobbyKing could cancel the shipping. Utterly disgusting and smacks of a total con! I have already been stung for £82 import costs for the previous 2 batteries. All I want is a refund as no one in their right mind would pay over £500 for a single LiPo model battery

Ordered items from website, items from U.S. warehouse arrived within a few weeks, However the items from the Hong Kong warehouse still have not been delivered, this was ordered over 2 months ago. The only way to contact is thru online chat which is a joke. Don't waste your time and money, if it takes over 2 months to make a fuselage and a tool kit something is definitely wrong. Will never use this obvious scam of a company again. If it says Hong Kong warehouse beware!

Simply put if you need anything resolved and you contact HobbyKing Support Center, you are in for a frustrating day. They resolve absolutely nothing. I think they exists just to return emails, like a robot, but do nothing to resolve the issue. I think HobbyKing should save themselves money and close out the Support Center. Just have automated emails.

I waited 31/2 months for a back order that was promised to ship free. Once item was back in stock they wanted me to send them $60 more to ship.

I really like the idea of HobbyKing.com, but customer service stink's no help of resolving any issues at all I think they are just waiting for me go away and disappear and take my money.
£450 worth of orders, parts of my order only received after 6 weeks.
Then on my account it says received, but items still missing. I have tried the find a contact number but they don't provide this service. So submitted a request form, got a reply back totally unrelated to the subject in question and then I was passed to someone else same again no joy. I would have sent back the received items for a full refund, but I very much doubt I would get a full refund after reading the terms and conditions. A total joke is HobbyKing.com think twice before purchasing

Ordered and paid for a FrSky X7S in promotion (GLOBAL warehouse) on 13/09/2019 (order *******) with expected arrival date at the end of November. After 5 months and various requests they tell me that they don't know if and when it will arrive. They have the same radio available in their EU and UK warehouses but don't ship.
They put a 50% promotion item, they took the money to do their interests and when the person who ordered it gets tired of waiting they return the money. Money that in the meantime they used to do their business.
It is a scam.

There are a lot of poor reviews about HobbyKing, but I have to say, I had a very good experience with them recently. I purchased a high capacity LiPo (20,000mAh) battery, then a couple of months after purchasing was ready to use it. It was manufactured incorrectly with battery polarity reversed! I took a couple of photo's as requested, including one showing voltmeter attached. The RMA request was promptly approved and a replacement battery is on the way.
Obviously this was clear manufacturing problem, but I found the process efficient and not at all what I expected given the negative reviews. Maybe they are trying harder..
Won't send products ordered to correct address and then keep the shipping cost when they decided to cancel the order randomly. Don't waste money

WORTHLESS COMPANY! Never buy there again, has been waiting for a receiver for 3 weeks, still nothing, customer service says that I will have lost my money.
At Aliexpress is often free shipping, much faster and much cheaper and track and trace. NEVER more Hobbyking for me!
25 day shipping delay and refused to reimbursed for cancelled order they sent. So, I ordered a couple of batteries on hobby king. I paid for 5-7 day shipping. A week after I ordered them, the order was still processing and customer support said they were behind to wait a couple more days. After ten days of the order still processing, I decided to cancel the order since I needed batteries for my skateboard. I cancelled the order and eight days later I got an alert that the order had been shipped. I messaged customer support and they said that for some reason they couldn't cancel the order. They said to just send the order back to get reimbursed. The box came completely beat up but I didn't even open it. I confirmed twice that I would be reimbursed for return shipping since it was their mistake for sending a cancelled order. However, once I confirmed that I had mailed the order back, they refused to reimburse me the $18 that I paid to send back the order they shouldn't have sent in the first place. Bottom line- the order took almost a month to be delivered, they incorrectly sent me a cancelled order and made me pay for it. They are certainly not telling the truth about no hassle returns, it's a mess

Bad order management and customer service! Order made on 12/03/2018 with all the items ready for delivery, to date the 19/03/2018 still being processed, therefore not shipped. Customer service with voting phrases and does not help at all. On their faq specify that they ship within 48H but as obvious they do not respect the terms. In addition they do not proceed with the refund because they say that the order is "printed"! Bad site, I advise everyone to think twice before making purchases!
