I went into a Hudson furniture in Melbourne FL. I was given a price of 1500.00. I went back 2 days later and it was 1800. I ordered the couch thinking it was a Hudson product. Was told I would get it in a month. I found the same product online $600 cheaper and would be delivered in a week. The next day I canceled the order and was charged 150.00. I have spent thousands of dollars at this store over the years. I need to furnish a new 4 bedroom house. I will not buy from Hudson furniture again.

My first mistake of the year was the day I decided to stop in Hudson's Furniture thinking a FAMILY! Owned business will honest (Big Mistake)., unfortunately I did not read the reviews. As a Veteran with over 28 years in service, I dealt with a lots of furniture store, but this company is the most dishonest, pathetic furniture store I ever seen. The salespersons, knowingly misrepresented and forgot to mention some facts. I made a purchase of over $3,600 hundred dollar on January 13,2024 with a delivery date of January 18th. I decided to cancel one of the items two days later and the informed that they cannot cancelled because the item was in the truck. The only thing they can do was to give a sore credit, so I was obligated to buy other items instead of returning the money. The day of the delivery on January 18th, one item (Office desk) was damaged. After some phone calls, they send someone to inspect the item and try to fix it instead of replacing it for a new one, that was over two weeks later. I decided to visit the store to demand a new desk or my money back, and the manager apologize for the inconvenience and told me that the company policy is to send someone to inspect the item and try to fix, that was not informed to me when I PURCHASE THE DESK. The manager in the store finally requested a new desk, but they tried to deliver the new desk Feb 12, but was also damaged. That is over a month after I purchase the desk. I contacted customer service, and I am still waiting for an answer. What is pathetic is that I contacted two different salespersons at the store, including the one who sold me the furniture, and ask to speak with the store manager, and they both informed me that store manger was in a meeting and will call me after. Well, that is the longest meeting that I ever seen, I am still waiting for the call. I believe that is another policy they have in place to deceive the customers. Please stay away from this company, especially if you are a Veteran, we do not deserved that type of service.

We have bought close to 10 thousand dollars from Hudsons and always bought the replacement policy.

In 2020 we bought a couch from them with the replacement policy. The couch turned out to be a lemon in 2 years. In December of last year we reported the left side Caved in and the right side the buttons did not work for the recliner. They refused to replace and instead kept ordering parts to have it fixed. Twice the wrong parts and 10 months later we had to replace it from rooms to go. Warning they do not honor the replacement policy you buy.

We had to replace the couch with our own expense even though we had an unusable furnature that we paid for a replaceable policy for almost a year we have been waiting to replace it and they only want to fix it. Several appointments and they still can't fix it. You shop for good furnature for a reason and they want you to have a crashed in couch fir 10 months when it was supposed to be replaced and not wait that long to fix.

I purchased a sectional couch 4 years ago and purchased a warrantee that covers 5 years and I was told that covered everything... there is only me and my husband - no children... I made a claim, and it was denied. The rep said that was normal wear and tear or poor workmanship and neither are covered. I spent over 4 grand on this couch! The couch still looks great however set on it and you go right to the bottom and hit wood... lesson learned - go to Lazy Boy they have lifetime warranty - only have to cover the labor cost after so many years!

I purchased some furniture about 5 months ago. I had a very hard time getting one of the pieces that was delivered damaged exchanged. Now five months later, I still haven't received some lamps that I purchased and have been getting the run around since. They keep telling me that they have no control over this issue because it[s only accessories and they can't control how long tor when till we will receive them. Chad, who is the salesman isn't very helpful and doesn't really seem to care whether we get the lamps or not. My advice to anyone trying to get furniture, go someplace else because Hudson's doesn't really look out for their customers once the sale is ma de...BE WARE!

Tip for consumers:
FIVE MONTHS WAITING FOR LAMPS AND GETTING THE SAME ANSWER WHEN I CALL THE STORE IS RIDICULOS TO SAY THE LEAST. IF I DON'T GET THEM REALLY SOON, I WILL START THE FIGHT TO GET A FULL REFUND.

After 3 months I am still out of pocket $1000. The company special ordered the incorrect item for me and after 3 months have still not issued a refund. I have spoken with the sales rep, the manager and customer services and have been fobbed off with excuses, told someone will call me back, but never with any resolution to my problem. What i ordered is not what they delivered. The manager is rude and just about useless. I am now hoping Amex can get me a refund before i have to go to small claims court to seek a refund. I would rather sit on the floor than ever shop there again.

Drivers that delivered my furniture left bolts, buts on side of my driveway. Discovered this after driving over the screw that goes into the legs to protect floors. This caused me to get a new tire. MY MONTY< MY HARD EARNED MONEY. Been dealing with Keith at Sarasota store. Keeps giving me the run a round. Nothing! Time fur Upper Mgmnt now.
Delivered again the remaining furniture after two months of waiting. More screws found by drivers in the street. Even after I tried to tell the NON ENGLISH SPEAKING drivers about my last experience. I have them all in my possession with pictures, UPPER management has not even reached out to me. Delivery Company failed to reach out, Incredible, Horrible customer care! Horrible!

I went in to a store for the Fourth of July sale. The flyer I got in the mail said
1) 50% off All furniture 2) an extra 5% off 3) no sales tax 4) 36 mo financing
So 1)and 2) the bedroom furniture I wanted wasn't included Ok it was Tommy Bahama that wasn't totally unexpected they said they have their own sales ‍ 3) wasn't included either which doesn't make sense Hudson is absorbing that not the actual furniture company so no law against that 4) they could give me interest free financing for 18 months not 36
So basically they could have not mailed me the flyer I didn't get any of the "preferred" customer perks they were advertising They did give me free delivery so I took it hook line and sinker because I'm impatient and want to finish my new bedroom Now to see how long it takes for delivery I may have it paid in full before it arrives

Today has been delivered the bedroom set, the boys installed very carefully and they left everything clean.
Furniture is very beautiful and good quality.

Ordered stearns and foster bed. It was delivered, dirty used mold was on it, contacted customer care they send out a mold specialist, he verified that it was mold and was sent back to the store. Ordered a Dallas chestnut sectional sofa, when it was delivered, it was clearly the wrong sofa, felt like plastic fake leather, not genuine leather. No where on couch bottom or side did it mention genuine leather! Black panel queen head snd foot board delivered, box had been opened, pieces removed, do bed was incomplete and had to be returned.
Financed with Synchrony Bank, Hudsons is not communicating with Bank, do our statement hasn't been adjusted! Poor poor furniture, do not buy from Hudsons, if there is a problem it will take forever to get resolved.

We just bought over 9k worth of brand new furniture (not clearance or floor models). After the delivery people set up our matrasses we asked about the couch they wanted me to sign off on it even though they hadn't delivered it. (They acted like the didn't know anything about it) after a few minutes they reluctantly brought it in and set it up then tried to leave in a hurry. The couch fabric was/is clearly damaged in multiple locations. When we asked what happened they first acted confused then they called their boss and after 20 minutes or so said that we would be getting a new one delivered then left before taking the damaged one away. We called the store and was told that we never should have accepted the damaged couch that we now have to wait on the manufacture to come out to determine if they could fix it or replace it. When we asked for a refund we were told they don't give one unless the product is defective which it is. The website said they have a 7 day return policy but that is only for online orders apparently. They told us since we didn't get the added warranty that it is "as-is" and not their fault. Which is complete BS since their drivers delivered it knowing that it was damaged and now we have to wait weeks on end for the manufacture to come out. The store or the company doesn't stand behind their products. It was not a custom order it was an in-stock order.

We replaced an inexpensive living room set that was only 2 years old with a $7,000 high end Hudson Furniture set. The new furniture is like laying on a morgue slab. It has no fluffiness or cushiness.

Do not shop at Hudson Furniture.

Basically the same as everyone else, heres what you can expect:

1. To pay for furniture that is either available or said to be on a short backorder. They may try to 'set expectations' and give a 90 day lead time

2. Wait patiently for that day to come, and go, with no fanfare. No emails, no calls, no robocalls, no texts.

3. You may get lucky and get an email a few weeks later with a new date that was also pulled from thin air.

4. Call in and complain. Be told other people are waiting too. Congrats - you overpromised and underdelivered - why would that absolve you of this?

5. Get automated email with a pseudo-apology that says they wont give delivery times until they can be sure

6. Get a new delivery date. Is my furniture finally coming?

7. Return to step 2.

This company is a joke. Their prices are set absurdly high so their sales bring them to a reasonable level. The quality is good, but that doesn't really matter if you can't get your hands on the product. Pretty sure this company's MO fits the bill for unfair and deceptive business practices. They sell-sell-sell with no sense of if/when they can deliver.

This is an extremely bad company with really bad unethical employees at their Melbourne, FL store. Also even their regional manager at their headquarters is a complete waste and has never heard of good customer service either! Please never use them if you don't want a complete run-a-round and a loss of money and your valuable time. They do not stand behind what they sell and they all lie about the situations regardless of the numerous verbal conversations but better yet we have everything in email correspondence but it still did not matter and they screwed us anyway! They actually held us as hostages until they got their way costing us a lot of money!

I usually do not document or file any complaints but this Hudson Furniture Company has my attention well beyond anything that could be consider normal or ethical etc. Please do not purchase from this company unless you enjoy being screwed!

At some point Hudson Furniture needs to stop pushing the blame onto others and step up their customer service game. I'm tired of being told, "you're not the only one", " We don't know what's going on" or "it's not us, it's the times"

We placed an order in May with a 50% deposit and over 7 months later, we have no idea when or if it will come in. To make us feel better about our situation the sales manager inform me they have customers who have been waiting for a year to receive their orders. I'm not sure what to do with that information, but I feel like there was a hidden message in the story? I understand we are not the only people in this situation and being told that multiple times does not make this easier or better. Continuing to sell product you don't have and have no idea when you will get in... is not okay!

You took our money and as the customer left me with very little options. Hudson Furniture has lost a customer for life.

Tip for consumers:
If you order something not in stock, be ready to wait well over the estimated time. We are over 7 months in and there is no indication of the item coming in soon.

So many issues with this company. Should have known form the beginning there would be a problem. Don't go by what the website says. They will not honor any of it - says the updates on website take longer to change so they go by what the store is currently offering. Also when they say a product is available they will change that about a week after you place your order - and you can't cancel, just get a store credit. It's quite the scam they have going on. Also if the Regional Manager Lisa King has to get involved be prepared to speak with the rudest, most unprofessional person there is. She over talks you so in the end you are so frustrated - she thinks telling you she is sorry solves the problems. Took me about 2 months for her to return the call after about 15+ requests. Nothing was resolved since she never let me finish a saying anything. Wanted to talk to her boss - she says she answers to the owner. Would love to let him know how unprofessional his company is being run.

I ordered a sectional sofa in January. When it arrived in April, it was clearly ordered wrong by the salesperson. He quickly assurred us that a replacement would be coming in June. Of course, no follow up by the sales person or the Store Manager during this time. Now it is August and for the 3rd straight month in a row, we are "assured it will arrive the next month" so that means September. I will never step foot in another Hudsons store ever. Good luck if you decide to purchase something from this store.

The worse customer service and broken promises. Buyer beware! We returned a couch and loveseat because it was literally falling apart after 10 months. We wanted 100% leather and the salesman lied to us as we found out when the repairman came out, it's actually leather and cheap vinyl. A credit was provided, and we selected a 100% leather couch and loveseat. While we were at the store, we were considering a Nectar mattress which came with a free adjustable bedframe. The store manager said he would give us a $200.00 gift card if we purchased the mattress. What a Big Mistake! Over three weeks later no gift card. The doorframe the house to the garage was severely damaged, which I noticed after the delivery guy's lift. I contacted customer care, the store manager, and the regional manager several times, and I was told the $200.00 gift card was in the mail and the warehouse manager will be contacting me about the damage to the doorframe. It's been over three weeks and I continued to be lied to. I've given up dealing with them. My next course of action is small claims court.

It's such a shame they provide terrible customer service, and they lie to their customer's. BUYER BEWARE!

I purchased very expensive furniture last July. The sofa was defective! So I was told to go the store and pick out something else so I did. Then I get a call from the salesperson Oz abd ge told me, "great news, you'll have it end of October. Here it is 4 weeks later and I am being dodged, lied to by the salesperson AND the General Manager, Penny. She had been lying to me since last year. She NEVER EVER call you back. She lies, lies, lies! She's she worst! I've been contacting her for weeks and she's always "waiting to hear back" and that she'll be in touch shortly. Well 4 weeks and me having to be the one chasing her down or finding anyone at the store that is willing to help. They said, "you need to talk to Penny". Well the problem as I've said Penny is the WORST General Manager. She lies and screwed me over and because of her lies I postponed moving because they assured me that they have an answer. Hudson's Furniture is super expensive and has the same quality of furniture that comes in boxes that you put together with that little too.

BUYER BEWARE! Look elsewhere for furniture

Waited 6 weeks for living room set. { love seat and 2 power recliners). Set arrived with no power cords for the recliners. Called the store. They apologized but I could not pin them down as to when I would get the power cords, I was ready to have the delivery team put the furniture back on the truck. I quickly got a call from Care Team" who resolved my issue by agreeing to send the power cords Fed-ex overnight.
Once you purchase and leave the store the good servive ends. Store people have no authority to fix problems. You must escalate it to the "Care Team). Sorry, just too much of a hassle. I should have gone back to Haverty's for the 5 star service they are known for.

I really want to give my business to family owned companies and not keep buying from Amazon. But there is no way I'll buy from Hudson's again. I ordered a Heron Lamp back in March and it just arrived today November 10th. Of course they expect you to pay everything up front so I paid a total of around $400 and didn't receive my item for nearly 8 months. I understand the supply chain issues going on and so my real issue isn't how long it took so much as the lack of communication and their attitude. I would get generic emails from them stating that the delay was beyond their control but beyond that there wasn't much communication. I was under the impression that the lamp would be delivered to me but when I finally figured out I was supposed to pick it up from their central Florida location they told me it would be an extra $80 to have it delivered to me so I paid it. Then when I stated I could not be there to sign for it when it was to arrive but to leave it on my porch they told me no. That really got me mad bc they have their own delivery truck and ppl so it wasn't like they delivered through another company that they have no control over. I was pretty mad at that point and I told them "Fine. I'll take off work to be there as long as my dealings with Hudson's is over at this point." It was then I got a very snotty email from one of their reps that stated that delivering to me was a "courtesy" that they made an "exception" for. I was really mad then as I paid $80 for them to deliver it and I had been more than patient with them only to be told they were doing me a courtesy. I can deal with having to be patient but the attitude I received was too much. I then called the store to see if I could ask someone else to have the delivery guys to leave it on my porch and someone took my number and basically said "someone will get back to you" but, of course, never did. I complained to the supposed owner about the entire issue but so far I have not received anything back and I know my message was received. It seems like customers who go into the store have a great experience but if you have to deal with online ordering it's a nightmare.
I should add this, too. I wanted to ensure that I had reason to give them a bad review (as I know it's hard to decipher someone's tone over email) so I had several other ppl read my exchanges with them and every single one of them described the attitude of the emails as "b****y." So it wasn't just my interpretation of the exchange.
All that being said the product is as it was described and I am very happy with it. The customer service was horrible and 8 months is just too long a waiting period without doing something for the customer in return. Even a simple "thank you for your patience" would have sufficed.

Go shop in the store. Not online!

I ordered furniture, 6000 dollars worth and they gave a delivery date of 2 months. It's now 2 months and I just got an email from them that it wont be here for 3 more months.Of course you have to pay upfront. I don't know how they can sell furniture that they don't have and can't get in a reasonable time. Buyer beware don't order from them!
