“Never coming back again”

Really hoping people actually see this but don't come here if you don't like thieves! One when we were first coming in the security guard lied and took my boyfriend's food. He told us we couldn't bring in food but left certain foods in our bags and took what he wanted to take. He said "you can come back and see if they're still here." 2 they completely over price on food and charge you for water, a basic human need especially for being in heat, one worker even told me i would still have to pay $3 for just an empty cup. 3 they close the water slides super early a life guard told me they shut them down because they had 3 life guards leave and was not opening back up. 4 the first ride i rode i mistakingly kept my hat on one which yes my fault but i didn't get reminded about anything and when i notified the worker about my hat they said i would have to try to get it at the end of the day. Well i'm not staying until then so when i was going to leave i found 2 security guards and one said he would help me, he then lied because the other worker left, said he needed to shut down a ride, the other guy left with him even though it was clear he did not have to he said "this could take a few minutes but i gotta go with him" and ran off, they never came back. Me and my sister sat there and waited with my whole family broken up, waiting for us, i thanked these workers for helping me just to play us. 4 i find another security guard he makes it sound like he can help me just to tell me "i don't want to stop the ride just to get it" why? All that had to be done was quickly pause the ride and get me my hat so why did you act like you would help just to tell me you don't want to? 5 we are leaving the place and my boyfriends food is indeed gone. So this place will steal, they do not care about people. 6 way too many workers were rude. I did have some fun except the whole time i was thinking of what they could do to make it better and more fun. I will never come back here i would not want to bring my kids here. Very bad customer service, you'd be way better off going anywhere else. Still very angry i feel there's nothing i can do about any of this. I don't even know if that is all but this place is terrible!

This is definitely. Not worth paying to go. I've in the past have bought passes but not for a couple years. It is so run down. I bought passes on Labor Day 450.00 for my family thinking we had till October. Wrong no more haunted houses. Labor day was the last day of the year. This park has not been updated since I started going half the rides were closed down. No kiddie rides were open. Terrible customer service. Lack of workers and no refunds! Repeat no refunds. The cost of food has gone up so much. Unbelievable. I have passes for next year, but doubt I will ever go. Unless they do some updates. Also the lazy river was closed. I was very disappointed. Don't waste a vacation to go to this park. Would not even give it a 1.

We came back here August 27 2022 after not coming here for 7 years because the last time we came here we had a bad experience, but we're told to come back to have a better experience because they have new owners and supposedly fixed it up. Instead of a better we had a worse experience. Upon coming in an old guy security guard wanted to insult my 9-year-old daughter by calling her Honey boo boo when my daughter looks nothing like her they don't even have the same color hair eyes or skin tone his comment was absolutely uncalled for because he was insinuating her weight. My husband and I were infuriated about that. Continued to our first ride which was one of the roller coasters stand in line for an hour almost get there and the ride breaks down. We were able to go through the haunted castle which you had to pay extra for fine. We decided to go to the water park since it was open and just like last time most of the water park was closed we changed out and come to find out they shut down the slides to open the lazy river for 4 hours. We changed back out and like before half the amusement park is closed we literally counted at least 10 rides if not more quotes. But of course the ones you have to pay extra for we're open. Their biggest roller coaster along with their newest one and numerous others were closed along with numerous other rides. It seemed like they wanted to keep open a lot of the baby rides you would find it Fest. At 4:00 p.m. they open the water park and what do you know only two water slides are open the tube slide was probably an hour long and they had a body slide that you had to get in that same line for. They decide at the last minute to open up one of the speed slides even though there were at least six other slides closed and literally 5 minutes after they open it the lifeguard that is supposed to be watching it takes off for a half hour leaving everything at a standstill. That same lifeguard left the slide once again and blew her whistle in my ear right next to me. The water was absolutely filthy. As well as any of the food places we went to anything we wanted they didn't have or were out. We actually left earlier than we anticipated and stopped at guest relations on the way out and we're told that they couldn't give a phone number for the manager and for us to walk all the way back across the park to see if one was there. Did not seem concerned about anything of our complaints. After we left we called and had to be transferred to try to get to a manager and the lady on the phone when we told her about the security guard and the lifeguard didn't seem to care and then said she would have the security manager have a talk with them, and gave the whole short staff and maintenance on rides even though the same slides and rides have been closed for years nothing ever got fixed with this new ownership. She wouldn't transfer us to a manager. Come to find out that same security guard has made ignorant comments to numerous customers. And if you don't like bugs or are allergic to bees I advise you not to go as there is tons of them. This will be the last and only chance I ever give Indiana Beach and we will definitely not be back unless there's a major renovation and change.

Awful experience June 2022. Handicapped child in wheelchair kicked off Farris wheel. Shame.
Person working the ride had no clue on how to handle a wheelchair bound 11 year old. When asked where to put the chair so he could get off at the conclusion of the ride, the operator told me to CARRY IT up the stairs, OVER the Gondola and back down to the other side. When I refused, asking to place it near the exit they called security claiming I had been rude because they were transgender, which hadn't even occurred to me until security showed up and pointed out that their chief complaint was that I called the attendant miss. They told me I couldn't leave and stopped me from trying to disembark with my children. The security guard then blocked the ramp for my disabled child then told me I had to leave the park. We weren't even there 10 minutes and this was the first ride. 200$ worth of disappointment. We will never return and I will make sure to share this experience with everyone I know and anyone who will listen.

IF YOU OR A LOVED ONE IS DISABLED I IMPLORE YOU! DO NOT GIVE THESE CRETINS YOUR MONEY OR TIME!

This place is a bad joke and a nightmare. Do NOT waste your money on these people and this business. Go to a beach, you'll have way more fun and not be harassed by people who are clearly unhappy to work

We are very unhappy about the decision to charge a full day pass price just to be able to walk around, eat, and let our grandkids ride the kiddie rides. Personally I wish they would bring back the gold star ticket books. They charge 1 ticket for a regular ride and 1/2 ticket for a kiddie ride. Then people would not mind paying so much for a booklet if they can use on another day if they have any left. I bet the food vendors are really having a fit.

Almost dront the life guard was busy on her phone. A bunch of people had to shout at her and i had to save him do not unless good swimmer

Use to go every year. I will never go again. Im a grand parent and me and my husband camped in the campground with the kids. We went to the park and they refused to let us in without buying a 40 dollar ride pass. Its rediculous. We dont ride the rides but we spend alot of money on games and food. I dont recomend this place to people who just want to watch their children and grand children ride. It will cost u a fortune. No other parks do that. So I will be finding a new place to vacation with my family. Also 116.00$ for 2 nights of camping at their campsite and still could not get in without paying full price. CRAZY. I have also told my other friends and family and we are all looking for a new place. You suck Indiana Beach..

Was a nice park. Seemed relatively clean and food and rinks were better prices then most parks. My main issue is safety concerns with the park. When I got ok steel hawk they launched the ride without locking or checking my shoulder restraint so I had to hold myself inside the ride while it was running on a ride that goes completely upside down multiple times. Also since the shoulder restraints were so high up they boxed me in the ears the entire ride. Also the park opens at 10 but most of the rides don't start until 11:30 and half of the rides were down almost the entire day.
Probably won't be coming back

I took my family there and my 2 boys have autism and run so we put safety jackets on them and 1 person of color treated my child like $#*! trying to make him take off his safety jacket and then flat out told him to get the F off the ride. When I went off she aloud the lady behind us who barely had any clothes on miswel have been rags to get on the ride after I explained 6 times he is autistic and needs the vest for his safety she told us we were banned from the ride to I went to management and all they could say is they were a third party hire and they talk to them.

Went the last week of July, while park much cleaner still had 3 or more adult rides and many childrens rides closed, the big coaster never ran in the days I was there. Guess (like in the past) people have to go on the weekend to experience all the rides.
