Two weeks ago I placed an on-line order and it still has not shipped. I called their Customer Service phone number and both times I spoke with the same agent who knew nothing and just kept repeating the exact same mantra each time I called, that my order should ship within the next 5 days. Well, thats twice he's said that and twice is hasn't happened. Save your sanity and do not patronize Jackson & Perkins, they are worse than terrible.

They have been sitting on my order for plants for 13 days and don't have a clue when it will ship. So, I don't have any product to use.

Ordered 7 roses. Some were tiny little twigs grafted on, like not even 1/4 inch diameter. All looked barely alive. Within a couple weeks it became apparent most were dead others managed to have a love branch or two at most. They're now refusing to honor their satisfaction guarantee.

I bought 3 plants for nearly $25 each. They did not have free shipping even for large orders. In fact, you pay more shipping for larger order. At this price, I expected some good healthy plants. What I received were 3 half-dead plants. I hate this company. They cheated me out of $90. They do not want any customers. They just want to cheat people out of their money and disappear.

Previously, J&P had a one year warranty. The gifter didn't know they changed. 2 of the roses died.
I (the receiver) owned & operated an organic market garden so am a pretty good gardener. 2 looked dead. We hoped for a rebirthfrom the roots. By the time we lost hope the new, poorly advertised 90 day return had elapsed. They have lost 2 repeat customers of 20+ years. Buy from a local Lowes. They have a one year return. My order # SO*******
Items were Cup of gold - died, Kiss Me Kate - died. Happy Chappy, living, blooming. Probably will be fine.

Horrible customer service. I received a rose that never grew and quickly began to die. After reaching out to customer service I received a form email that my issue had been resolved and closed.? Dead rose still in my back yard. After 2 more attempts to communicate with their customer service I learned they refunded the credit card which was not mine; this was a gift, instead of asking me about options. When I complained about this I received the same template email that my issue had been closed. Really really awful experience and clearly they could care less.

I bought this Rose in the spring of 2022 and it provided consistent quality blooms. When it started to grow this year "2023" suckers overwhelmed the rose and has reduced it to a throw away. I reached out to Jackson Perkins customer service twice. First interaction "it happens". Second call out of warranty nothing to do." there are better places to purchase a rose bush

J&P should be ashamed of themselves. They shipped 3 roses in the deep freeze. They arrived brown. Now they are dead. They were not even #2 quality. TWIGS! They don't respond to my inquiries. They take your money and say so long, sucker.

A company that has been around for a while. They have beautiful rose bushes and except for one, all mine came in in great shape. Bought them all for more than 50% off at $9.95 each. The roses are spectacular. Their web site is so enjoyable you can spend hours looking at flowering plants and wishing you had acres and acres to plant!

Tip for consumers:
Order early in spring to get anything they show on the web. The best and most popular sell out fast. Join their web site and get your first shipment for no shipping cost.

Beware! This place sends half dead roses. Then they won't help to resolve the issue. No refund, no replacement. It's illegal! Do not order from here!

I bought 5 shrub roses and they all died. There is no phone number. Contact through email was a disaster. I had 25 Jackson Perkins many years ago and they were great. After conglomerate take overs Jackson Perkins is pathetic. Do not waste your money. If any other minorities have as much trouble as I have. We might see corporate Jackson Perkins may be racist.

Don't buy from Jackson Perkins. I bought 8 roses from Jackson and Perkins. I paid around $35 to $40 For each rose. None of them ever bloomed or had beautiful roses I called for a replacement because I thought 3 of the 8 we're dead but as it turned out I should've asked for replacements for all eight the other five had gone back to their old state and all they ever did with these tiny little red flowers that looked really raggedy. When I got the order the Rose food and the 3 in one and a spray I had ordered a piece rose. It never bloomed. All of these roses have turned back to the wild state with this ugly little tiny red flowers that are real wiry and awful looking. I've called and asked for help which refused any help other than to send pictures and plead my case to the upper because I was refused any replacement. I have spent at least $300 with these people and have no roses to show for it. We built beds with miracle grow and landscaping logs and use the best soil possible. My order number was S******* that one was for August 24,21 and the other one was on May 6 22 and its order number was 105-7274 that is when they replaced only three of the roses went all of them should have been replaced but those didn't make it either and then on May 1721 ordered a piece rose when I ordered their They are three and one plant protection and their plant food and a spray. It did not make it either all of these roses have gone wild and are all just tiny little red wiry messes. I am sending this letter to the Better Business Bureau I am very displeased with this company do not buy.

I am in the process of trying to replace the roses with other companies I'm trying Lowes roses. Do not buy they do not stand behind the roses and they send you junk.

Over the past three years I have purchased 10 roses from J&P and have had questions or issues. I emailed them numerous times without any response. Will NEVER order from them again.

SCAM! I ordered 2 citrus trees in February, with promised ship dates in April. I was charged and the funds cleared my account. With less than 2 weeks left in the month, I followed up to get tracking information on my order. After several calls adding up to hours of hold times, I was told my order was canceled and that I would receive a refund for my over $100 order. I asked why the order was canceled, and was told due to not being able to process the payment (which I made thru PayPal). This clearly didn't make sense, since they said they will be refunding me. They quickly changed the story and said it was because they sold out & were now out of stock. They said I could reorder the citrus trees online & repay, when they were available again, but the cost of each tree increased $30 a piece. Customer service representative acted very strange and was overly empathetic and too willing to take my CC info over the phone, when I haven't even received the original refund yet. This company appears to be a SCAM. The whole experience doesn't sit right with me. I hope I see my refund. I ADVISE BUYER BEWARE!

I ordered some violas, dead nettle, and astilbe bare roots from Jackson and Perkins on June 2nd, my order arrived June 12th. Unfortunately the live plants didn't look good at all, especially the violas. The interior of the plant looked moldy and overall the plants just looked worse for wear from their trip. I reached out to J&P with info and photos as soon as I had received the plants and found them looking so poorly. I was told that their "horticulturalist" thought the plants looked totally fine. ‍
About an hour later I went back out and upon further inspection I discovered 2 of the violas were absolutely covered in aphids. Again I reached out to J&P with my concerns and sent photos. They replied back that they didn't see any bugs whatsoever...
Are you seriously going to tell me you can't see any bugs?!? Wow! I will never order from this unethical business again! They take your money and send the crappiest plants they have. Definitely stay away from them.

These people have no clue what they are doing and they must be bumping into each other while doing it! They can't fulfill orders and always having things canceled before delivery. This time it was a VERY SPECIAL Mother's Day present for my 94-yr old mother who wanted this rose. 2 weeks before Mother's Day, they first said they would keep a little longer to grow it out, then a week before Mother's Day, they cancel the order with a measly $10 certificate that is only good for 3 weeks! I have had this consistently happen to me from these people and other errors and mistakes from their own poor business practices and won't be trying again. It's too much disappointment either to try to get something or after it arrives and it's either poorly packed and broken, or its so small that you could seriously win a fraud case! The left hand NEVER knows what the right hand is doing and they don't take care of customers or take them seriously. After over 25 years TRYING to conduct business with them, I'm done! They have gotten too ridiculous and too complacent with being this way. They are NO FRIEND of the gardening community, that's for sure! Just business people trying to make a buck and not doing what they should be to earn it.

Tip for consumers:
Any other rose company is better than these people, will be cheaper and have larger and better product. They also won't cancel at the last minuite, leaving you in the lurch on Mother's Day! Try Heritage Roses, Rose Emporium, Edmund's Roses or most others. David Austin is an option, but their customer service is as bad as Jackson and Perkins, also leaving me without roses on 3 successive seasons.

WILL NEVER BUY FROM JACKSON & PERKINS AGAIN, DELIVERY NEVER HAPPENS AS PROMISED. ROSE BUSHES ARE JUST A STEM WHEN THEY ARRIVE, SPENT 400.00 AND WILL NEVER AGAIN BUY ANY OF THEIR PRODUCTS

I have had great success with J&P (unlike some other online garden companies). Tree roses I bought have had a ton of blooms the first year and other items arrived quickly and in great shape.

We have had very good luck with bulbs and seeds from this company. My Father ordered several flowering bushes and shrubs. They arrived in excellent condition and are still thriving ten tears later.
