These guys were bombing computer games market with their software which was mandatory to install to play the game back in the day. Afaik, nowadays minecraft for instance still demands the pre-installation of Java just because the game is based on this engine. Still, they allow us to enjoy playing games with our pals and that shouldn't be underestimated. It looks a bit outdated, especially the interface, but everything's because this company isn't popular any longer. New video games engines don't require it.
