Expensive and produces high volumes of irrelevant applications. The site looks like it belongs in the 80's. CW Jobs, Totaljobs, Reed will get you better results.

I tried to contact this site to tell them that a lady was posting phony spam/scam ads, on LinkedIn, a professional profile site, claiming to be a Management Trainee at JobServe for 3 years and 11 months, even using their logo. I spoke to a lady claiming to be HR Head Heather Collin aka Heather Holland, she gave me 3 emails to send her the info, and each time my email was rejected. Reviewing the Mailer-Daemon Failure Notice I saw (1) they had blocked my IP Address; and (2) had placed my email in spam. Now, why would a company NOT want to receive info about someone trying to damage their professional reputation? Then I read scam reviews and the lightbulb went on. As another poster on a different site says, they give out misleading info about the Life Job Posts they sell, they are told not to give out their Emails, customer service refuses to answer calls, and they don't refund monies paid. Another possibility is they are the ones paying this lady to post these phony ads.

Here's the Email I sent to *******@jobserve.com; *******@jobserve.com; and *******@careerboard.com:

Dear Heather:

This lady's profile is posted on LinkedIn, a professional site. As you can see she is claiming to (1) live in Norwalk, Ca.; (2) be a Management Trainee at JobServe from March, 2010 - present (a total of 3 years and 11 months), and is even using your Company's Logo. She is posting the below copied ad, which if you click on the link is for getcashforsurveys.com. If you google this company and scam, you will see that there are numerous negative reviews, the way they work is they only pay. 50 to $2.50 for most surveys, however to complete the survey you are required to either subscribe to a magazine. Or purchase a product or service, the cost of which is well in excess of the pay you get for doing the survey! The ultimate insult is that they require you to accrue a certain amount of funds before they will even pay you, and most people catch on and give up, never getting a penny. It's simply a deceptive marketing ploy, to which I was a victim. I think she is doing your company a disservice and harming your reputation, as she is posting this ad on 41 different groups on this PROFESSIONAL SITE at a time!

Your confirmation that she is not a JobServe Management Trainee, will allow me to warn other LinkedIn user's that (1) the ad is a scam (I can do this without your help); (2) will allow me to post that she is NOT affiliated with your company as a Management Trainee (I mean come on now, if it takes 3 years and 11 months to finish a Management Trainee Program, that would seem to be an indictment on your company's management programs, don't you agree/); and (3) most importantly will allow me to notify the LinkedIn site administrators that this is a phony profile, get it taken down, and stop the harm being done to your company's reputation.
I thank you for your time and assistance with this matter.

Sincerely -

Craig S. Blumhagen

I am getting emails from this site saying that they will pay for surveys. But why would they ask for a prior subscription. Is anyone aware if this is a genuine paid surveys website?

Painfully slow, next to useless in comparison to jobsite/monster etc, search engine sometimes returns totally invalid results, best left alone.
