Chase Amazon Visa sent me an offer of 10% cash back up to $100. I signed up and made qualified purchases but they have refused to pay. This is the kind of blatant fraud you don't see very often anymore. Really bad.

JP Morgan Chase are now collaborating with the new US government to freeze foreigner's bank accounts who are not currently in the States. It is a misue of the Covid pandemic travel and border restrictions to withhold the money of foreigners bank accounts who can't access their account anymore.
And the finacial regulators ignore complaints and watch how the US government together with JP Morgan Chase are lootering foreigner's bank accounts.

Tip for consumers:
Stay away from JP Morgan Chase Bank.

Products used:
Personal bank account and I lost 1500 US Dollars

Disappointed that biggest bank in the USA doesn't allow a retiree citizens to use his account in peace outside of the USA. I have to make a trip to USA to unblock my account because they didn't want to do it through the phone beside I answered correctly everything the asked about my account.

Amazon Prime invited me to apply for a JPMORGAN Chase credit card. I did because the offer would give me additional benefits while making purchases on Amazon. The bank dinged my credit twice and took weeks the send me a card. Once I received card I used several times, paying off interest saving balances each month.
I moved and contacted Chase to give new address. Apparently, when updating my address, customer service transposed 2 of my digits in SS#. I receive a letter requesting I provide copy of my SS card, proof of address. Umm No! I'm not sending a copy of my SS card!? Chase is closing my account because I won't comply and jump through hoops. It was their ERROR

Not only is customer service pretty much 'nil' at their brick and mortar establishment(s), but their online and phone support is terrible.

My card was just declined when attempting an online purchase, and when calling to ask them to fix the problem, their outgoing message SPECIFICALLY TELLS YOU that due to the Covid-19 pandemic they do not have people to help or take your calls. SERIOUSLY? While almost every other company is doing their part to help Americans during this time, this company obviously lets its employees go AND leaves their customers out to dry? I'd say that can't be right, but having been a customer for a little over seven years, I know better. I also understand that because they are a financial institution, the leeway one can give a working-from-home employee is pretty sparse. That, however, has not seemed to affect other financial institutions which are working through it and finding a way to do it WELL.

EDIT: I was finally able to get through to someone on a line reserved for disabled people, apparently, and the CSR I spoke to said she wished she could help me, but that unfortunately, the credit and debit card departments are both closed on Saturdays and Sundays. WOW. So on the days where / when people most normally SHOP? Great-going, Chase. TRUTH: I have another account with Discover - which has always been pretty fantastic - and I just moved the bulk of my account to them. Do I sound upset? I hope so. You see, I'm funny that way. You know... thinking companies should look out for its employees and customers.

Scammers attempt to withdraw money from my account first attempt stopped by on the ball teller that froze my account, called me and notified me of attempt and that she froze account with instructions how to proceed with my bank. Went to my bank and followed their instructions. Also created password to do in bank transactions that only I know to help prevent more attempts. The fraud dept also made note on my account that it was already compromised. So 3 weeks later a 2nd and 3rd attempt were successful withdraw due the tellers in other states did not follow any bank procedures looking at my account, They just processed and approved scammers request gave them my money and off they went being successful stealing my money and identity. So went into my bank due to the 2nd and 3rd attempt and the customer service rep said she was going to call HQ to ask if the bank was going to reimburse my total loss due to their gross lack of responsibility and I told her that the fricking bank is 100 percent responsible and if they don't make good my Attorney will be the next person they talk to. So before I left rep escalated the loss and will be reimburse but how in God's name do idiots like these tellers hold onto a job. Most teller positions don't require much other than background and credit check before being hired. Also low paying position and easy job in control atmosphere and still these associates fail. The solution or resolution is not going to some other bank institutions open account because all the banks are insured against what happened to me and the training inside bank is extremely poor and unmotivating that the associates are dime a dozen. So much identity theft these days targeting banks and dumb banks don't care about their customers or banks reputation, It's at all time high and will continue to escalate so what are we to do, Stuff money in a beds mattress. One last possibility that some Chase associates might be part of the identity theft. The hourly pay is low and just because s background check is good that's no guarantee the associates need for some extra money may take priority and so another one goes sour.
