The company's 1st core value is "Safety is our #1 priority." Well that is false! Fact is they are currently in business with a Terminal in Pearland that does not practice Safety. In fact that terminal does not have truck or rail racks for the Operation laborers. In fact trucks with Hazardous products are inspected on concrete, next to the guard shack, NO Containment for possible leaks. Oh wait they do use a bucket when making inspecting for leaks from the the valves and no safety protection or proper PPE the employee will climb the trailer with NO fail protection and no truck rack. To make matter worst this Terminal in Pearland drinks on the job! On Fridays after 4pm, HR made the 4pm rule by the way. You are allowed beers or cocktails. Most is provided by the owner and management. Afterwords you can find those employees at a bar next to the Specs off Pearland Parkway. Ways to move up the latter: have the last names; Amezquita, Aguilar, Allen, Mayes, Solinas, these people have brothers, sisters, cousins, sons, daughters working there. Or if you don't have any of those last names you can always sleep with someone with that last name and hope they leave their marriage, its happen. Is super weird there. My goal from this review is to inform Kaneka that they have some bad apples in management and are choosing to work with a Terminal that is not only unsafe but has a bad Reputation.
