I recently ordered the Chelsea Weekender Duffel, and the Chelsea weekender makeup bag. After receiving my order I was extremely upset to find I did not receive thew makeup bag. I emailed the company and they informed we they would be shipping me a new one. After about a week, because they told me they would ship it via fed-ex overnight, I emailed again informing them I still do not have the bag. They refused to send me the bag, or any item for exchange.
Used to like Kate spade purses, etc, but stand by your product. I bought their Minnie Mouse backpack and only used it when I'd go to Disneyland (6 times tops!) and the straps (both sides, at base) have started ripping. Of course, it's been more than a year so they'd like me to go to their restorers. Will probably just ducktape it (won't even take to my leather guy) and buy Coach solely from now on. My loss is definitely, THEIR loss.
I recently purchased a piece of clothing during their Mother's Day sale (use a code for 25% off). We're all used to these types of sales now. Well the item came, was huge and I tried to return it. They said anything purchased with a code, mind you not clearance items or items marked final sale, automatically is final sale if purchased during a discount weekend. It's a really sneaky thing to do and makes me reticent to purchase from them going forward. My receipt also does not say final sale
Just received the black shoulder bag I bought on sale on line. It is a piece of junk. The material is cheap and really does not even worth the sale price of $99. I cannot return it. Never again...
I would not even give one star if I did not have to! My husband bought me a $300+ bag for my birthday and was told it was all leather. It was plastic and fell apart after a few times of using it! The handles are crap, both the hand ones and the shoulder one. Called customer service, what a wasted of time. Spent so much time on hold, told to take pictures and send them in, which we did twice. They couldn't find the pictures? Every time we called customer service we were told they would get back to us, NEVER did. Just horrible! Please do not waste your money with this company. There are many other companies out there, who care and are helpful!
I don't even know where to start. So I get an email from Kate Spade informing me of a 40 % sale. I thought this would be a good time to come try the Kate Spade line. As I go through the check out, I look for for the discount to be applied. As I go through the check out process, I noticed no discount was applied. I called Kate Spade and was told the sale ended " yesterday " and although I called to cancel my order within 15 seconds of having accidentally placed it, I couldn't cancel because all sales are final!
The merchandise is here. To make things worse, the wallet that I had used their sizing guide to assure fit the purse that I ordered, is too big for the purse!

The second time now, I ordered over $300 worth of products and each time, waiting for my order, it says delivered in 7-10 days. After 25 days, no communication and trying to track it it says it is getting ready to ship. When I final called they said the items are out of stock and they don't even know when they are going to back in stock & offer me a refundThe website didn't say out of stock and afterwards they didn't send me an email to tell me that! So they kept my money for 15 days and if I didn't call who knows how long they would have kept it! So I think it is illegal to take people money knowing that you don't have the product! That is the reason that I believe it is some kind of illegal activities going on. I will never order from them and I will not recommend it!
That is sad I like the product but KS website gives the product bad rap!
I ordered my wife a limited collaboration bag from the Kate Spade website. The company shipped the wrong bag, not even close, then they let us know the bag I purchased was no longer in stock and that the bag they sent was $29 more expensive. They said that we could either be refunded the payment and we ship the wrong bag back to Kate Spade, or she could keep the bag we didn't choose but that they would have to charge my card the difference in payment of $29. It's ridiculous that keeping the bag only to be charged for THEIR MESS UP is even an option. If someone wants to keep a more expensive bag that they wrongly sent why would anyone even call. This is ridiculous. A company of that size should have first contacted me and notified that bag was out of stock not sent some random bag and even if they didn't; they should be calling it a wash and as an apology, comp the difference and call it even if she were to keep it. Absolutely absurd. Horrible customer service. Never again ordering from their website. Sorry for the improper punctuation.
My wife always asks me to buy her new handbags. I always ask her where does she put her old ones and why does she require so much handbags. I believe it's difficult for a man to understand why women are obsessed with handbags. Anyway, I recently decided to make her surprise and ordered new handbag from this online store. I remember her tastes in handbags and that's why It wasn't so difficult for me to choose her a good handbag. Indubitably, all the handbags which are presented here are awesome. The only one which I ordered was the best in comparison with others, because it's for my wife))
Said on website that if you ordered by end of day guaranteed delivery by Feb 11th... ordered Feb 8th get tracking info says Feb. 15th contacted customer service and that was pathetic. Sorry for lying to you and for ruining your Valentines Day... yes everything happened except the last part... no remorse for anything after all they already have my money... customer service sucks and so does your over priced company.
I returned a bracelet I received for Christmas and requested an e-giftcard. After waiting a month, I checked on it and was told they credited the original payment method. So I have no replacement gift. Merry Christmas to me... not!
Ordered a purse and wallet, realized they did not match, just after placing the order I called them to cancel it. They said it was too late. Now I can't return it because it was on sale, not on clearance mind you just on-sale. This is fraud in my opinion. They say 30 day return policy. And don't live up to it.
Sent me an incorrect order for someone in Portland, Oregon. Purchased the order at 40% off. They asked that I return the items and could not fulfill my order and to await a refund in a month when I returned the other person's order plus a coupon for 20% off my next order. Cost me time and ruined my Christmas!
Their customer service is terrible.
I received a code for 10% off and free shipping. A message stated that the promo code was applied. It was not. Additionally another 25% was added for taxes and duties. But this was not itemized or clarified on the order summary. After over an hour and a half on the phone with customer service, they couldn't figure out why the code wouldn't work. She finally cancelled my order and created a new order with two new promo codes. Then she was only able to apply one code. At that point, I told her that was fine and just submit it. Immediately after the order was placed, there was a new code available with a better discount and free shipping! Tonight I received two emails - both orders shipped. The first order was never cancelled or they prepared the order before the cancellation processed. I immediately contacted customer service and they basically told me there was nothing they could do. The order would need to be returned for a refund. It was their error. Again. And the order was shipped out of the country as a gift. So the earrings that should have been $31.50, ended up costing me $100. Honestly the worst company I have ever dealt with, and there have been some pretty bad ones.
Literally shopped for the first time on their site because my friend raved about it, only to realize couple seconds too late that I was shopping on the us site not Canadian and custom charges would apply. Reached out to their customer service right away to cancel my order well before it was processed but they told me it was too late to cance my order because it had shipped. I was like huh? It took y'all a good 8hours to process the order. I reached out 2 seconds afterwards but it's shipped? Never ever shopping there ever again. What a poor excuse of a business
I bought a bag online and didnt realize til the next day I found a bag that better works for my needs. They refuse to exchange or let me return before I even received the bag, as its a "final sale" I said well I guess I will be refusing delivery as its my only option then they will HAVE to refund me back.
I used to like Kate Spade fashion, always was looking for new designs; however, the last time I purchased from the company was Spring of 2019. Nothing since than looks appealing.
Great service and always deliver on time plus great sales. I placed a number of orders with this company and haven't been disappointed yet. Everything comes nicely packaged and promptly which is important to me since unlike other companies, they don't take weeks to send out your order
Needed a small bag to take on a trip out of town. Ordered a crossbody and after 12 days item hadn't shipped. Customer service said item was back ordered and available to ship the next day. 3 days later order still showed pending and website now showed it as a preorder and not available to ship for 4 more days! I canceled and bought a Michael Kors bag from Macy's same day.
Answer: Good luck with that! Once they make a sale that's it. Good luck getting in touch with a person. The brick and mortar store maybe easier to deal with, but the website is the worst. Don't do business with these guys online
