Manic Panic

I pre-bleached my hair and thoroughly did all the steps necessary to apply manic panic and it did not work at all. No colour showed at all not even a hint. I used over 2 containers or blue Steele manic panic and I left it in even longer than the container says to leave it in maybe 1 hour more. I do not recommend this product and will not buy it in the future

This is legitimately one of the worst businesses from which I have ever purchased. Their customer service representatives take several days to respond if they respond at all, and their copy-and-paste answers do not address specific customer inquiries in any manner. Also, had I been aware of their return policy before placing multiple orders, I would have absolutely steered clear. In fact, the sole inspiration for my three recent orders was a promotion on gift cards ($75 for $100) and I decided to purchase two and stock up on products at what I thought would be a great savings. One order arrived within about a week, no issue there other than the fact that I genuinely disliked the products and their snow white toner turned my hair a greenish gray, but that's a risk you take when you try new products. The other two orders literally took 3-4 weeks to arrive during which time I couldn't even get a timeframe from customer service as to when my items would ship and ultimately had to purchase different products elsewhere. To top it off, they canceled an item from one of my orders, and although I paid partially by gift card and partially by credit card, they automatically processed the refund to the gift card I hadn't saved since I'd used it in full, and I've repeatedly emailed them asking for a refund to my credit card instead but they do not respond. The last of the shipments arrived today and I wish to return it without even opening the package, and had in fact asked multiple times for the entire order to be canceled when the shipment was delayed for weeks and one item canceled by them, but of course I received form responses that didn't address my request to cancel nor let me know how to return the shipment once it arrived. I've just learned that their return policy requires customers to mail back shipments at their OWN cost with their own trackable shipping label irrespective of the reason for the return, and customers have a total of 5 days to do this. I do plan to return the shipment, but I'm still going to be out the money since it'll be refunded back to the gift card I no longer have. I've sent so many emails now it's actually ridiculous and no one will respond at this point. I just want my money back and to never think about Manic Panic again. Also worth mentioning that I live in NYC and my orders that took 3-4 weeks to arrive shipped from… NYC.

Used to use manic panic all the time years ago, quality and colours were great. Used blue steel on bleach blond hair and it didn't take at all, turned it a slim green colour. Good thing it washed out after 1 wash. It is so watered down these days and the tub size is allot smaller then it used to be. I'll be looking for another brand now

Charged my account immediately and refuses to give a refund for product that they don't have and can't deliver.

Its just waaaooo... Its been a great experience with manic panic. Highly recommend guys... No errors and bugs in it.

I've been a long-time user & love the product. However, after my last online order through Dowd Hair Care Suppliers Australia, LAST DECEMBER for 3 products has never arrived & 15 emails later I'm informed Hair Products au has taken over the company & orders would be fulfilled, I'm still waiting after an addition 4 emails. The customer service of both companies is abysmal to say the least. I'm so frustrated dealing with them after paying over $70 for something I've never received. It's enough to make me stop using their products.

Their ultraviolet turned my hair GREEN. Devastated is an understatement, has completely ruined my hair stay away *******%

We spoke to manic panic and got agreement from their marketing to do a fundraising matching for anyone who dyed their hair for an event. We did the work and when it came time for them to match, no response.

I used to LOVE manic panic! When i was younger and dyed my hair crazy colours alot they were my go too! I love the creators of this company & they have the best colour range!

Ive tried pretty much every color on the rainbow. Ive even circled back to some just in different tones. I like how much of a spectrum manic panic has on its colors. Also the formula doesn't completely destroy my hair, and considering how often I dye my hair that pretty impressive. A few things I'm not a big fan of... is how bad it stains skin.ive come across a few brands that dont stain Neeeeaarly as bad. And also how quickly the dye job fades. I will litterally go 3 weeks without washing my hair after dyeing and rincing my hair just so it doesnt fade right away. Dont get me wrong... it always fades into a cool pastel but thats not what I'm going for. Especially. 2 washes after I've dyed it. Love their blues and purples tho. The vibrance never dissapoints.

I dont think id ever use or say id recommend this to anyone. If any of you like this brand than okay..but its just not that good..its more like goop than a hair dye

I ordered hair dye as well as a choker. I used a special sale discount (I think 30% off, believe it was cyber Monday or because of Black Friday). They did not have the choker in stock. So they had me pick another item and yet again not in stock. Btw their site never has said these items are out of stock! They never updated the info.
So I had to pick from makeup that irritated my eye (a glitter eyeliner that wasn't very glittery) and something else to make up the money for the out of stock choker.
I did not get the 30% off these new items I was basically suckered into buying like store credit. I also was owed a couple bucks! I never got it! Like the choker was 15$ and I spent maybe 10$ on what I was replacing it with, being owed then like 5$.
Another time I bought the same dye I've purchased previously. It was really chunky and weird and doesn't seem as vibrant. Been using manic panic for at least 17 years and never had dye be that way. I don't want to have to pay to send it back and then get a store credit and then everything's out of stock every time you try to buy something. Just frustrating.
Also, I've always bought in store (at newbury comics) besides these two times buying from their website. The first time I tried to use their site, it said sign up for their email and get percent off. So I did... Only to never receive a discount code just their ads.

I suggest it is not having any side effects for your body.

This site has the best hair dye if you are looking for awesome and vibrant colors like blue, pink, and firetruck red. The color shows up beautifully for the perfect look. This is a great site!
