This company has the worst customer service! They falsely advertised a product and when I went to return it they refused to refund my insurance charge. They sent the wrong item so it should be refunded! That's not all, they NEVER answer any email you send. I actually tried to cancel the insurance charge shortly after ordering but….they ignore their emails. I've sent repeated emails and there hasn't been one reply. So, I wrote a review on Trustpilot and they tried to flag my review to get it removed. They said I was lying and didn't believe anything I said in my review. I had to provide documentation to Trustpilot to keep my review up and thankfully Trustpilot kept the review up. Also, since they don't answer emails I try to contact them through their online chat which took forever to get anyone connected to chat with. I mean hours! Then when I do get someone to respond it to over an HOUR for them to basically tell me to go to the company's return form….it took 10 minutes in between each question I asked to get a reply. They weren't helpful at all. So, they shipped an incorrect item and kept the insurance charge. They called be a liar and tried to get my review removed. They don't answer their emails so I had to use their online chat which is a joke. What kind of company charges you for insurance anyway?

My husband recently bought perfume from them, by mistake. Using their instructions and their shipping label, we were able to send it right back to them and they gave us a full refund. This is a company you can trust and the product is exactly what he had ordered, and it was not a fake sample of the real product. Thank you so much MaxAroma for treating your customers right. This is exactly why they will keep coming back, and so will we.

All their fragrances are legit and at a good price. Fast free shipping and great discounts on top of their very low prices. Highly recommended!

Just the website I was looking for! I spend so much on perfumes yearly but after I found maxaroma, that all changed. All the products are afforadable at reasonable pricing and I can guarantee you, it's authentic! Glad I came across them!

Tip for consumers:
Don’t trust their stock photos.
They don’t answer emails.
Their online chat is a joke.
Be prepared to be called a liar if a problem arises.
They make up excuses for any mistake made on their part.
There’s plenty of other places to shop for fragrances at a cheaper price. (EBay, Fragrancenet, etc..)

Hopefully here will get a more accurate rating than Trustpilot. All the great reveiws are only reviewing the products, with people never having to deal with the customer service. Now go to the 1-star and 2-stars reviews, and you'll see how many complaints there are on fake promotions, products listed but not in stock (is Maxaroma a mass drop shipping company? For some products, it might very well be), and others related to bad CS.
I personally bought a couple of fragrance with a promotion, but the promotion was unclear and to apologize they decide to convert it into points on my account, but since that day I could never again access my account... and they only pretended to help me, with one week intervals in between emails.
Another time I bought a couple of travel sprays, one was leaking and lost juice. How did they solve? They sent me a new empty sprayer: no compensation ofr lost juice, and my business to transfer the juice (and loose some more).
Nope Maxaroma, that's not a way to deal with CS! In a nutshell: do not use them other than available fragrances with IMMEDIATE discounts (do not trust the freebies promises or other coupons for 'future use'), and that after having checked all the (serious) major retailers (Fragrancenet, Fragrancebuy, etc...), and 99% of the time you'll find a better deal.
Also: do not trust reviews on Trustpilot, they reach out to bad reviewers with some BS coupons or so to have them remove their reviews... (you can see that on Trustpilot: they reached out to 96% of bad reviews within 2 days... understaffed for CS, but not for social media management apparently!)

Tip for consumers:
They invest more on social media management than customer service. In a nutshell: bad company with good online ratings. Let's hope Sitejabber does noot allow companies to contact negative reviewers to try to corrupt them, like Trustpilot does.
