I was shocked when they told me to get ready for my surgery at Dora Hospital. I did some research about this hospital and visited it in person. The surroundings, the hospital itself, inside, nurses and staff everything did not even deserve a one-star. That's why I said, "no" and quit this process. They never told me this upfront until a few hours before the surgery. Despite this, they refused to process my refund. They did not look professional and honest throughout my experience. Attached are the photos of Dora Hospital.

I highly recommend Dr. Osman without hesitation. Opting for gastric sleeve surgery has been the most life-changing and beneficial decision I've ever made for my health. It's been 4 1/2 months. Don't believe the hype- employees are wonderful but Dr. Basaran Karaca failed me miserably. I'll let the photos do the talking. First photo is my before picture.

I have only very good words for the doctor who is a true professional and a great person. I wholeheartedly recommend Safak.
I had wanted to have eyelid surgery done for so long. Once I did, I was so happy. I could actually wear eye shadow! The entire staff was so wonderful and comforting during the whole procedure. I will definitely call on them again.

I really wish I had understood that so many of the review sites can easily be manipulated to make the hospital and doctors look good. There is no way Mayclinik should still be operating. The skill of the doctors is low and often results in botched jobs. They promise the moon and the stars and leave you disfigured. Only after my own disfigurement and expensive corrective surgery did I realize just what a poor job Acar did. I've connected with many victims of Mayclinik and have just read about a recent death of a patient there. Please, please do your research and do not fall victim to nice Instagram posts and manipulated 5-star ratings. Read the posts with scrutiny. You'll be able to see that they are fake.

After $14,000 and months of pain I look exactly the same except with scars. I was so disappointed. The hotel and the staff were absolutely amazing but I just was not happy with the doctor's results. I wouldn't recommend for face procedures. I wanted to write a good review so bad.

Wish I could give minus stars. I went to Mayclinik for facelift with dr Karaca Basaran last year. The surgery also included eyelid surgery.

I wasn't too impressed about their service. The assistants and nurses were rude, and the transportations always late. My surgery was very short and I woke up with so much pain. No nurses were there to help me, they just said they can't do anything. I found out later I wasn't stitched properly and was bleeding from my surgical cuts. They forced me to leave the hospital even though I was still bleeding on the floors. I'm lucky to be alive.

Two months later, after somehow survivg home, the swelling had gone down, and I started to see my face sagging. I never had a saggy face before the surgery. After I complained, Mayclinik stopped answering me and refused to help. I visited another doctor in my home country who was absolutely shocked about my scars and "results". He said it looked like a 5 year old had done my surgery. Most of my facial fat had removed, therefore the sagging. No actual lifting had done. My eyelids were absolutely overdone and I cannot close my eyes. Lower face has severe nerve damage. I have needed already three corrective surgeries and will need few more. Not all the damage can be fixed.

I cannot recommend to anyone. I recently found out there are a massive number of unhappy patients of this clinic, also a case of death.

Don't know where to begin in terms of my mommy makeover. I thought going to Turkey would save me money but more over, they do so much surgery. I never knew the amount of botched jobs that come from there and I picked the wrong surgeon. I chose Dr Acar for 360 lipo, tummy tuck w/ muscle repair, and breast lift with implant exchange. I knew something was wrong when I came out. My husband saw my breasts were 2 different shapes. I understand they won't be completely alike but they are deformed. I cry all the time at the way my breasts look. I also noticed my tummy tuck didn't look right with corners popping out of my hips. Fast forward to 14 weeks, I have clear dog ears. I went to a local surgeon in Chicago and he said my tummy tuck was done wrong and my breasts were visibly uneven and nipples were placed too close together. Dr Acar left fat on my hips and gave me dog ears. Literally, he said it should not have done that because I have love handles. I paid $4000 usd to get my tummy tuck fixed so he removed the love handles and took the dog ears off. I'll have to wait another year to have enough money to fix my breasts.

Now to talk about the hospital. It was incredibly unsanitary. I should've canceled my surgery when the nurse didn't wash her hands before drawing my blood and after drawing some other person's blood. No one spoke English but that's where my translator from Dr Acar's clinic came in to help, however, she seemed to struggle with English. Went to the hotel and the next mornjng, I met Dr Acar to explain what I wanted with the translator present. I said I wanted my breasts smaller to a C cup but I wanted mod implants and he said "no high profile). I then told him I wanted a small waist and smooth out my waist and hips. He marked me up and in I went to surgery. To me honest, I felt rushed and I don't think he cared about the pictures of what I was looking for. I woke up from surgery to dead flies in the ceiling light above me. It was disgusting! The nurses didn't wash their hands when they came to empty my drains to dump in the toilet despite the nurse hand washing station in my room. Dumping blood is a serious biohazard. If they had a hepatitis patient before me treated the same way, I would've been exposed. Mayclinik nurses came to change my dressings and take pictures of me with 2 or 3 phones. This is concerning because phones are filled with bacteria and they never cleaned them off as they were touching the phones then touching my open wounds. I made one nurse redress me because she dragged her disgusting dangling bracelet over one of my incisions.

I will not go further about my husbands experience in this but I could not stop crying because I could've been planning my husbands funeral while recovering in Turkey.

After my husbands experience we were moved to the hotel and the nurses were really sweet there. I kept asking the nurses if my breasts are supposed to look uneven and they say don't worry and it's normal. I was so sick of hearing "it's normal". It wasn't normal! During this time, I turned to social media to help me deal as this is where I found Dr Acar. The following of women were vicious. They had not seen or had surgery with Dr Acar and would diminish my experience. My posts pleading for some sense to validation were met with disgusting followers. I believe the hostility by this Turkish doctor's followers come from, which I suspect, fake accounts managed by their huge marketing team.

On my last day before leaving, I went to Mayclinik and I asked again about my breasts. Dr Acar laughed and said they're sisters and not twins. I noticed around the office there were at least 15 marketing team selling these services yet I only saw 3 nurses. They brought me down to a couch and shoved a microphone in my hand to tell me to talk about my testimonial. It was so hard to say it was even ok because I didn't want to get not have a ride to the airport or they retaliate against me right there.

Now I'm home and all I can see is my deformed body and realized Dr Acar did a hack job on me. I warn you to not go to this doctor. He is dangerous and lacks the eye for a natural look.

There are fake comments here, I think your competitors are writing bad comments to you. I had surgery here and had great results. Don't be fooled by the bad reviews.

Absolutely amazing experience. The staff & Dr.Osman were so kind, they answered any questions i had. I couldn't of picked a better place to have surgery. I am so happy with my results!

This is an overview & I'm leaving out some things. I woke up on the operating table in Kolan hospital in MASSIVE amounts of pain as they were trying to move me from the surgical table to the transportation bed. I thank God I didn't wake up during the surgery. I wasn't given painkillers. I screamed for them for about an hour. I was told they don't give painkillers in the recovery room. So I screamed & cried for what seems like days, but was probably an hour. I was told to quiet down because it was disturbing them. The procedure was an extended tummy tuck & breast lift. I had nine cuts on my body. I have nightmares now. When I went to the hotel, I was given a bottle of 200g of ibuprofen. I had the surgery in Turkey, so just assumed I was being taken care of. I worried I would overdose. I found out how small an amount it was. I went to the pharmacy to get stronger meds. 2 days after my surgery, I went back to the hospital to be given blood. When asked about this, I was told that it is normal. I asked, all of your patients have to go back to the hospital & get blood? The reply was don't be like that. Don't worry, it is normal. It's like they were reading from a script. My stay was 16 days. The drains were removed, One drain wasn't clear. The pain was unbearable. I called the front desk for an ambulance & they called mayclinik. I called for an ambulance & went to the kolan. I was given 2 large bags of blood. I asked repeatedly what was wrong & was told not to worry. The point hotel barbaros is a 5 star. This is the hotel that the mayclinik have their patients stay at while recovering. Room service was the worst. The first time I called to order food, I was told not to call. I thought, "Oh, I dialed the wrong #." No. They didn't want me to call. Dr. Yusuf Acar told me not to eat salty foods. It causes swelling. Why does the mayclinik breakfast have almost all salty foods? 3 types of salty cheese, boiled egg, olives & processed meats was the breakfast. The hotels menu is mainly salty foods. There's no mayclinik menu for patients & you can't bring in outside food. I had to walk across the street to Dedeman İstanbul Hotel. The people at Dedeman were WONDERFUL! The doormen & the young man at CH helped me up the stairs & assisted me across the street afterwards, too. They refused tips! They did it every time. The young man at CH Mad Kitchen Gayrettepe was extremely helpful! I feel bad I don't remember his name. No one helped at the point hotel barbaros. Even the people who worked at Dedeman İstanbul Hotel were shocked by this. One of them said to the doormen at point that they should be ashamed that they didn't help me. The people at point hotel barbaros didn't assist with the luggage when I Ieft the hotel & I could barely walk. A guest & the taxi driver helped. I complained more than once to the mayclinik about the treatment I received. The last nurse I spoke to said I was making a problem for the hotel (later on I checked the reviews for the hotel and other single women had the same problem). Someone knocked on my door more than once at night but no one was there. The night b4 I left against doctor's orders a man in the hotel uniform knocked on my door. He told me to stop calling room service. The nurse that came the day I left told me I should move around, I'm not in that much pain, another patient is shopping, I shouldn't act like I'm in pain. I asked how can she know what I feel, she said that I was being selfish. The way she looked at me. I felt unsafe. My inner voice said to get my Black behind the F out. I took a personal loan, so I could pay for 1st class. Anything not at a 45 angle was painful for me. I'm still paying for that loan. I get home to NYC & call my doc. She told me to go to the hospital. I was & a tearing pain hits me. Blood starts to come out of my bellybutton. I found out later that it was dead blood. I had a blood trail going down 5 flights as the emt's helped me down. A neighbor told me the custodian had to wipe up the blood trail. He was given a generous tip. One of the drains were taken out early. I had a draining hematoma. It can turn septic. I msg a nurse in Turkey. She admitted they knew I had a draining hematoma. The nurse who called me selfish, I was a problem, & I should just walk & not pretend KNEW. I want to forget this whole experience but I can't. The nightmares are real. I just wanted to remove my extra skin, so I can be happy when I looked in the mirror. The cost was much more than I had anticipated. Believe and don't let what happened to me happen to you.

Dr Duygu is extremely skilled and gentle and transformed what might have been a traumatic dental experience into a relaxed and painless procedure. She is reassuring and confident inspiring, as well as realistic about choices and expectations. His team is also welcoming and professional.

It's been two months after my jowl liposuction with mayclinik. It's like fat reduction kept going after the operation and I really feel great! I was very uncomfortable with my chin before the operation but I was scared of bigger incisions like they create in neck lift, with my healthcare consultant's help me and Dr. Yusuf Acar decided the best option for me is vaser liposuction. Everyone is speaking english and do their best to make you feel in the most comfortable way. My consultant and the doctor were informing me about every stage with honesty. Nurses come and check you out even in the hotel If you're travelling alone It's really helpful. They're still checking me out after I got back home. It was really a nice experience thanks to mayclinik team.

Genuine review here from a UK traveller to Turkey to get tummy tuck and BBL done. I thought I'd go into length to at least put a few minds at ease. First and most importantly if you're thinking of going to Turkey for plastic surgery, unbeatable prices and the quality of the customer service and operation is very high class at Mayclinik. It does feel a little strange going to Turkey and having these done however it is an extremely common operation over there and you will be well looked after very well by your privet nurses.There are certainly a few things to note for the people coming from UK however before hand which will make the whole experience easier

1. Do your research on the procedure before you go by reading up the before and after treatment to ensure you are already clued up on how to ensure your operation is a success and put your mind at ease while you're there.

2. Remember you're going to Turkey so don't expect everyone to speak English like in UK so just prepare to have a few language barriers but Mayclinik has English speaking doctors and nurses which help, so no worries.

3. Best not to treat the trip as a total holiday because most of the time you will be recovering and staying in the hotel after the op although having some time before your op to have a quick walk around and buy some food supplies is ideal as Istanbul is amazing. Additionally the hospital is in the city center also close to my hotel as well. So if you really want to explore then taxis are really cheap.

4. Take lira and pound currency as it differs in different places in Turkey...i changed 100 pounds into lira and I could only spend half, the food is very cheap.

5. The operation itself does not hurt, and I had my painkillers, there were my private nurses both at the hotel and the hospital who taken care of me really well by following my medications and giving me drainage message which really helped.

Overall it's been 8 days since the operation and the results look really great. I use my garment and BBL pillow regularly and follow my surgeons instructions to keep my beautiful result.

Overall I'd give Mayclinik 10/10 due to them doing such a great job with customer care for people from a different country and also the quality of the hotel/operation being so good. It's definitely a bizarre feeling at times being in Turkey having these ops done but a nice kind of bizarre and a great experience :)

Hello there, In December, I underwent tummy tuck surgery, and it was the best decision I've ever made. Mayclinik team was fantastic; they looked after me from the start. I was nervous the night before my surgery, but my consultant phoned to reassure me and boost my confidence; following our talk, I felt much better and was ready for the big day. On the day of my operation, the assistant and nurse were constantly there to cheer me up and make me laugh so I didn't feel worried. And it was quite beneficial! The surgery went well, and I recovered quickly and easily. The hospital was amazing with great nurses who took care of me always! I stayed in the hospital for 2 nights and everything went well my surgeon dr. Yusuf Acar checked me constantly. He was an absolutely very educated and experienced surgeon. My result and my scar look amazing and I am really happy with the result and my new body. Everyone asks me where I underwent done this surgery, I recommend Mayclinik without any doubt. After my discharge process, I took to the hotel. My nurses welcomed me very well. They were amazing and they made my hotel process easier. They have checked me an everyday couple of times. They did my wound care and control my garment. Aftercare with Mayclinik was beyond my expectation. My result also is. The location of the hotel, the hospital were so good. I have reached everything I wanted easily. I came with my daughter and also everything was so easy for her. Everything was well arranged before I came so there was not even a little hitch. Hey! I had a mummy makeover operation with MAYCLINIK. I was researching to find a good-quality clinic and good doctors and I saw Mayclinik, I made a contact and then asked them many questions about the operation to comprehend what is the process exactly and the doctor. They were able to answer all of my questions in a very detailed way so I was not worried about anything even for a second.
When I arrived they welcomed me with a great car it is perfect for transfers as it is very comfortable. I met with the nurses in the hospital they helped me with the pre-operative tests. Then I arrived at the hotel, all the staff in the hotel are very nice and caring. I had a great room where I can see the whole Bosphorus and the beauty of the city.
On the operation day, they picked me up early in the morning and then I got taken to the hospital. I met with Dr Yusuf and then I felt even better! He is very knowledgeable and very honest. He talked about every detail even before I asked. I am the happiest. I appreciate all the staff in Mayclinik they were truly kind. I did not have much pain after the operation as they are using very strong painkillers. Dr Yusuf checked on me every morning in the hospital. And in the hotel, I received perfect care. I had upper blepharoplasty, brow-lift and deep plane face surgeries done and I still can't believe it's the best decision I've ever made, feeling young and fresh at 46 is a miracle when they asked for my concern I just told them to put me in a time machine and I didn't even know what was wrong with my face at the time. Dr Basaran suggested I have an eyebrow lift with upper eyelid surgery and deep plane facelift after I checked their information I understood what was missing from my face. The doctor is one of the best, and during a video call with them, they addressed all of my concerns and explained why I needed it and how it would be done in detail.
Being natural was one of my main requests, and it's wonderful to have someone who understands how crucial it is. What I really appreciate is their follow-up care. It started when I was there and I had my checks every day and excellent service. There were no language barriers, which scared me first because I was flying from another country. I am grateful for the service I have received from them. Everything was 10/10. Highly recommended.

I went in search of a good doctor for the sagging in my neck area. It is very difficult to find a good doctor and this has worried me a lot. Dr. Karaca Başaran was a very successful and highly educated doctor. In my facial surgery, there were combined surgeries such as eyelid and fat injection.

After my doctor's recommendations, we set a day. When I arrived taken to a beautiful hotel. I was very excited on the day of the surgery, but when I saw and talked to my doctor, my excitement passed. That's when I realized that I really chose the best doctor. He answered all my questions and listened to me. He always helped me in my post-surgery process. When I went to the hotel, I had nurses and they helped me a lot.

Thank you very much for helping me get through this difficult surgery so easily. I was never left without communication. I am very grateful to Dr Karaca Başaran for my result today. I had abdominoplasty with liposuction in three areas and rhinoplasty with Dr. Yusuf and Mayclinik.

My whole experience has been so amazing and the communication with my Dr and carer was 10 out of 10 just was fantastic. I'm from Ireland, firstly I saw them on ınstagram and started to follow all posts and stories then one day clicked in WhatsApp button and started to communicate with my contact Busra, later she called me and told me what services provided, what ı will see once ı am there, she made me picture the whole experience inside me having the operation, it was so assuring and asked her all the questions ı have and she replied very well.

And I was so assured with communication and then later on the care as well. I traveled to Istanbul for my operation by myself, so ı did not have any companion but my nurses both at the hospital and the hotel were there for me all the time. I did not think of anything they all did, followed and instructed me for my medicines, checked my drains, stitches, tampons and bandages regularly, gave me massage for a better shape, and really it was not as hard as I imagined. I knew I was in trustable hands. I was in contact with my coordinator all the time, even she arranged a white cleaning session for me once ı am there ı wanna get this done as well. She was there for all by easing my process. One day before my departure, my surgeon checked me one more time preparing a flight letter for me, changing my bandages, removing my tampons.

Btw my result omg amazing. Even now I am so happy with my result both tummy tuck and nose job. I stayed at point hotel which is so close to hospital and clinic. The car provided was a luxury and really comfortable car. The driver always offering water or some beverages he was so kind and funny always making me listen fun songs. I can't express how wonderful each and every one was to me.

My results are fantastic and I have no regret. I'm really happy and recommending mayclinik to everyone who wants to get plastic surgery done
